Rented the house for work assignments in Åseral. The host was nice and clear and the communication was really good. The house was homey and clean. Kyrkjebygd is a lovely little place, and a good starting point for hikes in the surrounding area.

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful house in a very nice environment. There is still construction next door, but we were kindly warned, and it wasn’t too bothersome. Overall the hosts very accomodating to our special requests (we decided to rent the whole place instead just half once we arrived).

Lovely place - we enjoyed our stay a lot. Stig and Kirsti were super helpful and reaponsive. The kitchen was the best equipped one we ever had in an AirBnB. Definitely a recommendation!

Stian was very easy to deal with and the place is exactly as advertised and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Stian went the extra mile and organised us a new bbq within hours which was very impressive and much appreciated. Excellent quiet location for winter or Summer stays! Great value and lots to do in the area.

Daniela is a lovely host who responds quickly. The place is stunningly beautiful! Everything is available to cook a simple meal. The view from the terrace is breathtaking.

We were 5 adults and 4 children who had a very nice Easter in this cabin. The positives: +Very nice and new cabin. + Large panoramic windows with lovely views of the mountains. + Short distance from the road and Haukeli ski center + Good price Things to think about: * When the sun shines on the large panoramic windows, it quickly gets very hot in the living room. negative: - The cabin is newly built so the outdoor area is still characterized by having been a construction site especially since the snow had melted around the cabin.

We were only briefly in the accommodation, but nothing was missing. The kitchen was impeccably furnished, bedroom and bathroom as well as all other rooms clean and beautifully furnished. We can recommend the cottage 100%!!

There were three of us. The cottage is really suitable for 4 people. Everything neat and cozy. All the necessary is present (cheese slicer brought your own). We didn't know there was a freezer as well. The area is beautiful, especially for walking. We also visited fun (small) museums and swam in lakes. When the weather is nice, there is plenty to do and sit outside (terrace floor and canopy). But inside it was also very cozy.

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

We had the most wonderful week with children, grandchildren and mother-in-law in this absolutely unique and for an architect's exciting house - an original Norwegian log cabin with super comfortable furniture, beds and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, firewood, games, TV and internet. The cabin was secluded a little by itself overlooking the beautiful Brokke mountain and over the cabin area, which we enjoyed from the porch around the fire pit, We could walk/stand skiing to the ski place, which also meets all our needs. We give the cabin, Bente and Tor-Olav our best recommendations and would like to come again - not least to also experience the place in the summer. Only downside was that we had to wear snow chains 500 meters before the cabin. We were not prepared for the driveway to be so steep. We later found that it is easier to drive a little further on the big road, and first drive into the cabin area from the driveway just across from Brokke-Alpincenter. In the cabin, there is gravel to spread out, but we only found out later. Thank you very much for the loan: -)

This cabin is a real gem nestled in a corner of paradise. Accessible in only 10 minutes on foot from the parking lot, the path to this is perfectly marked. The kitchen, fully equipped, offers all the essentials to prepare delicious dishes or desserts. Comfortable, the cabin also has a TV, wifi, and much more.

Spacious and cozy cabin that was to the description. Fantastic to come to a cabin that was so well adapted for children. Very good to know that the equipment at the cabin is there to be used, it made us feel at home. If there was anything we were wondering about, Annette was quick to respond. Had a lovely stay.

We had an amazing stay at Åsta's place; we could easily tell they are using the property as it has all expected ammenities and many many more. From a fully equipped kitchen with everything from kitchen robot to toaster to spices for cooking; to many games for kids and adults including a game room. The house is conveniently located near an adventure park (climbing for all ages & experience levels), water park and a downhill trike experience. Altough we visited late summer - and it did rain most of the time, our 3, 6 and 8 year old loved their time here. The area is very peacefull; I'm sure we'll be back to check it out in wintertime in the future. Åsta was a great host throughout, always responsive and kind.

Lovely cabin located right by ski slopes and only a stone's throw from the slalom slope.. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather so the cover was closed, but went for walks and found other nice things. Good communication with the cabin owner and they responded very quickly. Would definitely recommend this place☺️

Great place and beaut view from the terrace. Nearby crosscountry tracks, and only 10 min drive to Slottet. Trygve was always responsive on text and answered immediately. All in all a great stay!

We enjoyed 6 days in Martin and Nina's cozy cabin. There were beautiful mountains with snow as far as the eye could see. The cabin was nice and heated when we arrived, and had everything you needed for a week of skiing. Martin responded quickly, friendly, and pleasantly to all inquiries. I hope we get a chance to come back in the future!

Felt like home, clean, cosy and well maintained. We had a fantastic time in the nearby ski station. We will come back!

Perfect vacation spot for three generations. Spacious, very well equipped, short way to pool and pub at the hotel and a fantastic location with beautiful views. Very nice, we felt at home right away, both small and big. Unfortunately, the skiing was raining away, but next time...😊
