Nice host and nice house. There were 4 of us. Due to the fact that it is slightly elevated, the temperatures are lower than in the valley, which was good at the high temperatures. From here many attractions are easily reached by car: Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Livorno and of course the sea.

We had a wonderful time at Paolos Villa! Paolo is a real superhost! He is living just next door and helped as with everything we needed and where he could! Our highlight was that he organized the delicious pizza dough from the local Pizzeria! With those we had an awesome pizza night with the pizza oven in the garden!

We felt very comfortable. Lovingly and well thought-out accommodation with all comforts. The animals are very well cared for and tame, it was very nice to pet them❤️ The hostess was incredibly friendly and attentive and we would love to come back. Restaurant recommendation: Osteria Etruria...very tasty and super nice and romantic. Buy olive oil at the cooperative in Buti.

Unfortunately, my booking was confused with the day after, so that I still had some things to do in the apartment upon arrival. I found it difficult for my hosts to reach, and then my phone led me wrong, which there is only a right way up. If you have a wide long car, you should really miss out on the way. I drove two quirks into the car. Especially narrow cars are easier here. A combi is not a gift with the streets, not driving alone. The view, the fireflies, but the location is a dream. I have rarely felt as free and at home on a vacation as there. A paradise!!! I would vacation there again at any time despite the initial experience, but with a different car. ☺️ Gerda and Lee are two totally warm nice people.
