Holiday rentals with beach access in Ruakākā

A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Absolutely loved staying at Sheenah's, the perfect spot for a solo dive weekend. This was a safe, cosy and gorgeous studio and I can't wait to come back.

Well I must say in our opinion, this is the best spot in Mangawhai Heads, beautiful views from the unit of the beach in front. The unit is awesome, with everything you need. We stayed as a couple, but the unit has room for a family. Easy access to beach and short walk to surf beach and walking trails. Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic place. The setting is spectacular and the location is unbeatable. A real touch of kiwiana.

We loved our stay at Richard’s place! Great cooking and hanging out space - not too small at all with a separate bedroom. Will definitely be coming back

The apartment was beautifully appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were really comfortable and appreciated the duvet was the right temperature for the season. I can overheat! Marion and Graham were lovely, welcoming, friendly hosts. We enjoyed talking with them and would definitely go back again. Thoroughly recommend!

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated—so stylish and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to explore the area. I slept so well thanks to how serene the neighborhood was. The host Karen and Craig were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had a fantastic experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, chic retreat. Anne was incredibly responsive on messages. Made us feel welcome and we had a lovely stay at her Airbnb. The location is incredible, right by the sea. The kayaks and paddle board were a great addition. We were very lucky to have even seen some dolphins while kayaking. Wish we could have stayed longer !

We have three young children and there was so much for them to do here. Plenty of toys, games, drawing supplies, dvds, a big t.v. and a playground outside to keep them entertained. Just what we needed. I highly recommend this home if you have young children. Very relaxing place to stay! Playground just down the road.

We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Airbnb right on the water’s edge. The location was absolutely stunning – peaceful, scenic, and so close to nature. Our host was super friendly and full of helpful local tips. We especially loved the walk to the nearby surf beach and grabbing a morning coffee at the local campground. A perfect spot to relax and explore!

Nice bach very close to Ruakaka Beach. We especially liked the very well equipped kitchen and lounge and the big shaded terrace. Communication with Clive and his partner was easy and friendly.

We loved this Ruakaka holiday home. It was so warm and homely with a perfect layout, super clean, comfy beds and we loved the set up of the garage. Even though the weather wasn't great, we jumped in the pool. This place would be so epic in summer. Sarah was the perfect host, super responsive.
