Holiday rentals with a patio in Royal Oak

We had a good stay and the location was perfect for our home base. The beds were quite comfy, which is always nice since you never know what kind of mattress you'll be sleeping on until you have to sleep on it. The hosts were very nice, easy to communicate with and very responsive. The Airbnb was super cute with tons of space. We did have an issue with hot water while we were there, but Rachel was quick to respond and help resolve it. One thing of note is that the walls are crazy thin and you can hear almost everything on either side, as people were staying in those adjacent apartments. Thankfully, everyone was respectful and quiet at night. With that said, definitely bring an eye mask and ear plugs for sleeping if you are sensitive to noise and light while you sleep. The bedrooms face 9 mile and it's a busy downtown where people are out and about late due to being a popular night life area. The location was perfect for us. We loved being able to walk to so many shops and restaurants.

What an excellent stay at the Phunky Pheasant! It was so close to the action. Just a close walk to Michigan Ave, and then a bit further Michigan Central and the rest of Corktown. Everything else was a super close drive / Uber. Allison & Anthony were the most gracious hosts, continually checking in to ensure our needs were met. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at more well appointed, thoughtfully curated airbnb. This one is a keeper, folks!

Amazing place to stay. Had all the amenities mentioned and more. Felt like a home with all the necessities included. Clean rooms and washrooms, easy check-in and responsive. Good place for a weekend get away

Morgan and Brittney’s space was just as cozy as promised. Perfect for my short, solo trip. They were very responsive and very accommodating. Location is good, super close to museums and other good shopping. The down pillows become very flat while sleeping, so I hope they offer some other options in the future. I did have to use the window unit AC, which made the place more comfortable. And I was more than happy to take a bath in their tub! I didn’t try out the pool, but wish I had.

The beds were amazingly comfortable. It was so nice to have our own bathroom. Great place for a couples getaway. This location is on the third floor so be ready and able to up a few flights. So close to downtown, would recommend.

Gil and Margot were great with any questions we had. They responded quickly and professionally. We came in for a weekend baseball series at Comerica which was only a 10 min Uber/Lyft ride to the stadium. Easy and Flexible self check in was great, since we arrived on the later side at night. The AC was great for those hot days and cooled down the place very quickly.

The stay was nice, the neighborhood was pleasant, and the host was great! Would stay again 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay in this home, which has a great location near the waterfront. The house itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, perfectly blending charm with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed, which ensured restful nights after long walks exploring the waterfront and the town of Walkerville. Nimrat’s home was the perfect place for our stay. Family friendly and a great location. Walking distance to a couple parks for kids and the house was so cozy. Perfect distance to downtown Detroit as we were in town for a concert. Would love to rent again if needed. Great place to stay in Royal Oak.

We loved our stay at this adorable Airbnb. Not only is it beautifully decorated, but it has lots of thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home (hard and soft pillows available, a jet tub, real plants all over, fans). The location is awesome. We loved that it was walking distance to multiple parks and definitely would be a great option for anyone needing to be by the hospital. Neighborhood was relaxed and super friendly. We lived here for about 7 weeks while we did a house reno and had to extend our stay multiple times. Becky went out of her way to make sure we could stay longer and was incredibly responsive.

She is very responsive, her home is squeaky clean it looks just like the pictures. It's a very quiet and peaceful neiborhood, I promise if you book her home you will not be disappointed. Clean comfortable furnishings with all the amenities. Relaxing time in a quiet safe neighborhood. Austin was a great host and responsive to our needs. Will definitely book again.

Justin’s place was Amazing! He was easy to work with. We did have a problem trying to figure out how to lock back door but he sent video of process and we were able to solve. The location is perfect access to midtown and downtown. Whole Foods around the corner.

Clean, quiet, convenient and comfortable! Perfect for our long weekend in the area and we would absolutely stay again!

Shone's place is roomy and comfortable. The bedrooms are located on either end of the place with access to a bathroom right next to each bedroom, adding to privacy. The kitchen, dining area and living are together in a nice, roomy open area. The furniture and beds are comfortable. We had stayed once before and liked it enough to stay again, which is not often the case.

This space was truly beautiful. The neighbourhood is lively at night with the bar below, and so peaceful in the morning with a great coffee shop steps away. There were some little tokens in the airbnb to get a discount at either the bar or coffee shop, which was a nice bonus that was not expected but much appreciated. The apartment has many lovely local places nearby, and just about anything you want to do is within 10-15 minutes driving. The hosts were very responsive and helped us in a pinch when I accidentally locked myself out! Checking in and out was a breeze. If I end up back in Detroit, this will be the place I book again as long as it’s available. I will be dreaming of that beautiful kitchen for a long time.

Lovely condo, close to stores and not far from airport. Very well maintained space, lots of nice touches to make it feel extra cozy. I would highly recommend staying when needing a comfortable stay while in the area. It was helpful that the condo rental came with a parking spot.
