Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Royal Oak

Nice place in a good neighborhood with an easy drive to the arenas downtown, would definitely stay again.

Super nice house, nice space upstairs and downstairs , lovvvve the aesthetic of the house, great for a nice peaceful getaway, and Desmond is great a communication so don't be afraid to reach out, and the hot tub is definitely worth getting into 🥰super cozy. Will be coming back when I come to town

Five stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We felt like we’d checked into a luxury resort the moment we walked in, everything was spotless, stylish, and outfitted with the latest smart-home tech. Michael is a fantastic host: quick to reply, genuinely kind, and proactive about making sure we had everything we needed. The home is packed with thoughtful amenities, from well-stocked kitchen essentials to entertainment options that kept the kids happy for hours. The surrounding area is just as inviting, giving the whole family plenty to explore and enjoy. highly recommend!

Two colleagues and I enjoyed our stay (nine nights) very much. The house was as described, modern furniture, very bright, clean & well equipped. We even had a nice welcome basket with tasty nibbles and wine and a personal welcome card :-). The location is very good, easy (and safe) to walk to downtown restaurants. The Supermarket around the corner was very convenient, not to forget "Crispellys" bakery :-) As it has been a business stay, we were happy with the individual work space/table in each bedroom. Wifi was very good. Our host Martine was always very friendly & helpful, shared many information and reacted very quickly. While we had some issues with the heating in parts of the house, she arranged immediately for a technician to come, even on Sunday. Shame we could not use the nice and inviting back yard due to the winter/cold, this would have been perfect (so summer is a much better time to enjoy everything in & around the house). We would definitely stay there again.

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

We really enjoyed our 4 days at Dana’s. Birmingham is a beautiful neighborhood, very sweet neighbors. Dana’s place was very comfortable, shower was hot, small kitchen was perfect to prepare breakfast. We would definitely feel lucky to stay here again.

Laura was an amazing host! We felt right at home, and the place was spotless. She answered our messages and assisted us with the bonfire. My daughters had an amazing time, we were sad that due to our limited time we couldn’t do the rope course at her property. If we visit Michigan again, we’d definitely stay here!

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

Allison and Anthony were very responsive and accommodating to my messages. They swiftly handled a noise complaint from another renter in the middle of the night. I really appreciate their response, considering the lateness of the hour. The place was also very clean and located in a quiet area of town. They also offered lots of suggestions on things to do in Detroit. This is one of the best Airbnb units that I have rented over the years. Personally, I think this unit is ideal for one person, however, on a very short stay, it could probably work for two people.

We had a great stay at Jordan’s place. Easy check in and great communication. Place is as described and is super cute. Nicely remodeled bathroom and comfy bedrooms in the back of the house. This was a good location in Woodbridge for us as our friends live in the neighborhood and it’s also close drive or bike to the museums. I would highly recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. It’s an old house and if there are guests on the third floor you can hear them very clearly. The place is also located on a very busy street - our friends warned us there might be drag races so we brought ear plugs and still were woken up. Beyond that it was very quiet and peaceful.

This was such a special stay and I can't say enough positive things about Jerald's boathouse on the canal. I only had one night there and hated to leave. The photos don't do the space justice, with so many thoughtful touches, tremendous design, and deliciously comfortable furniture. I arrived to a family of geese with little geeselings swimming by and woke up to the sunrise over the water. I loved the quiet community of the canal, with a few boats quietly cruising by, and just wish I'd had time to take the canals out for a treat. Jerald was so helpful with check in and local recommendations. I loved everything about this beautiful little retreat!

Beautiful property, feels private and remote even though right off the highway. Unique mid-century modern decor/interior design — not your typical sterile, greige cookie cutter Airbnb! Responsive, friendly hosts. I stayed here over the Christmas holiday, and Matt went out of his way to salt/shovel the walkways/driveway the morning of Christmas Eve when it had snowed the previous night. Highly recommend, I would definitely stay here again!

The place looks just like the pictures, was very clean, and stocked well with things you'll need during your stay. Felt right at home in this 1940’s log cabin. Ryan and Tammy’s communication was very helpful before arrival of items they provided and check in process. The beds are not the most comfortable but good enough for us for two nights. Plenty of pillow options and linens. The cabin does have low doorways so if you’re tall you will have the urge to slouch inside. The house is nestled on a hill with plenty of trees that provide privacy and a secluded feel from the surrounding homes. The log cabin is unique to this very nice neighborhood as other homes are more traditional. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and spotted turkeys, deer along with plenty of birds, squirrels and chipmunks. It was a great cozy find. This was our first Airbnb experience and this stay encourages us to find another gem in the future.
