Halcottsville is a tiny hamlet In the heart of the Catskills .The porch is a compound with an old general store built in 1890 which is available for rent .We also have a restored barn , gardens and Apple orchard . The Bungalow is super private and still right on Main Street in Halcottsville. We will definitely will share our veggies and fruit with you . We have 3 sheep , 10 chickens and 5 barn cats .Halcottsville has its own post office ,voluntary fire department and a beautiful Lake.

If you are looking for a tranquil Catskills escape, look no further. Jennifer’s home is cozy, tastefully appointed, spotlessly clean, and has the perfect mix of privacy plus proximity to restaurants, shops, and things to do. I’ve been on Airbnb for about 10 years now and never have a I seen a more thorough guidebook of local places to try. It ended up raining for most of our stay, but no matter - we enjoyed peaceful mornings having coffee and reading in the breakfast nook, playing board games in the sun room, watching wild bunnies frolic around the front yard, and drinking in the beautiful mountain and lake views. 10/10, we will be back!!

This is a super comfortable home , plenty of Room for everyone, kitchen is well equipped, Bathrooms are a good size and the backyard is very large , we enjoyed every minute of our stay, even during some rainy days!! We look forward to come back to this spot with a different group of Family members, we want them to discover how nice this area is .

The cabin really is as pretty as you see in the photos, full of light, with thoughtful choices of furnishings for comfort and beauty. Moria and Corey were very informative, and super quick to respond to questions. My friend and I had a very relaxing long weekend. I slept soundly in the loft and downstairs was cozy for my companion. We mostly cooked at home in the well-equipped kitchen, but were provided plenty of suggestions for nearby dining options. I enjoyed watching the rabbits and birds through the huge windows. There are a couple of neighbors nearby, but we saw no one during our stay. I would happily return!

Authentic farmhouse with modern amenities, very comfortable. Thermostat worked well. Roxbury is super-cute. Loved the record player and albums! Esther was very quick and efficient in refunding $ for dates we weren't going to use. Dining room and music room wall switches were tricky for us old people. There was a leak through the music room ceiling from the bathroom as we were leaving. Called Esther, hope it didn't cause damage.

Amanda is the perfect host. And the place is a gem. If you are looking for a place in the Catskills to find a little bit of peace - you got it! It is still very accessible and close to great hikes and very central in the Catskills. We really appreciated that Amanda was flexible with the check out time. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and breakfast. And thanks a lot for some coffee for the first morning. My wife loved the big tree in the front yard! We would love to come back any time. Thanks a lot, Amanda!
