Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Roseto degli Abruzzi

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. La Vista dei Sogni Muranuove home was perfect for our short stay in Celano. In many ways we wish we should have stayed for longer! The host provided easy instructions to locate the property including pictures of the front door which was helpful since there were several houses in the same area which looked similar. Everything was clean and as described in the listing, with balconies providing beautiful views of the area of Celano below us. The home was within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shops located in Celano's historical center (it's located literally just below the Piazza). There are also several larger supermarkets located within 10-15 minutes. For breakfast pastries and coffee you can walk down the hill about 5 minutes to Pasticceria Aroma. Highly recommend also Locanda Madonna Della Vigne for dinner or lunch. One thing I will mention is that parking can be a bit tricky if you have a bigger car, but we were always able to find parking.

Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. It has helped us realize what we truly love and want. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed their time 🫶

The view and location were spectacular! Steps to restaurants and the beach! It was perfect!

We had a wonderful Easter vacation with the family (me, my wife and our two children aged 2 and 8). The newly renovated apartment is cozy, warm and smells of wood. Equipped with all comforts, with equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds, it immediately made us feel at home. The garden is spacious and well-kept, perfect for relaxing while the kids play. The family dog, polite and very sweet, kept our kids company for hours: they had a lot of fun playing ball together! A special mention goes to Stefano and Stefania, the owners: kind, helpful and always attentive, they welcomed us with warmth and hospitality. It's rare to find such an authentic place, where you really feel like family. An unforgettable Easter. Highly recommended for those looking for tranquility, nature and an honest welcome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiara's, in lovely Capestrano, for two weeks in Abruzzo. It looked just like her photos, with ample space on two floors to spread out. The kitchen had the amenities we needed to prepare tasty meals with incredibly fresh local produce and dairy items. The small refrigerator was helpful to store our perishable culinary treasures. And wine! Tucked at the top of a staircase off of the small road, it was very quiet and very close to the main piazza. Whenever we needed groceries, a pharmacia, delicious morning espresso with cornetto, or a nightcap with some of the regions incredible wines, we were only a 5 minute walk away. Chiara was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with suggestions of what to do and see in the area. So many beautiful, charming mountaintop villages to explore! We felt very safe staying here and leaving for the entire day, to marvel at this most extraordinary, naturally stunning area of Italy.

We travelled with 2 kids in July 2024. Really nice and quiet agriturismo close to Ascoli Piceno (20 mins away). We enjoyed the countryside and its quaint little towns, the swimming pool and some great local trattorie and osterie. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the apartment is very clean and if you use the shutters and the fans, it’s cool enough to sleep, even without airconditioning.

The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos and as described. Everything was very clean and the towels smelled really good and fresh, as did the bedding. Francesca is super friendly and always available and was also immediately helpful when there was something. We always traveled by car, you could also walk but since it goes very steeply uphill, we didn't do that in the heat. You can definitely see the sea from up there when you stand on the street, which is very nice. We felt comfortable in everything. In this sense, once again many best regards, Francesca

Quiet, large and very well located accommodation for visiting Abruzzo and hiking there. Domenico is a very attentive host and attentive to ensure that the stay goes as smoothly as possible. It's a great place. Plus: the large TV.

We had a great time at the big and beautiful house. Katja and her husband were very helpful and communication went great. There was even an air conditioner installed in the upper bedrooms, which gave us pleasant temperatures during the night. Overall the house is very well equipped and very suitable for a larger family. The old town of Montefiore is very easily accessible. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would be happy to come back.

we stayed at Simonetta's house the week of Ferragosto. The accommodation is spacious, tastefully furnished and very well supplied with everything. The garden is lovely and very pleasant for dining. The beach, various restaurants and the supermarket are within walking distance Special thanks to Simonetta for her thoughtful and attentive welcome, like a family member!

Nice accommodation with all necessary facilities, a big garden and a magnificent pool. Located in a quiet area with superb views on the surrounding mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

We were very comfortable. Everything was well appointed. the veranda and the view of the snow covered mountains and the sea were stunning. The beautiful hardwood floors added a luxurious feel to the house. It is definitely a villa with a beautiful garden. We would have liked a couple of lamps to brighten the interior a bit. The hosts were very kind and welcoming . All in all an extremely pleasant stay.

We had a very nice time in the house. It is equipped with everything you need. Maurizio was our contact person, was always easily accessible and gave us good recommendations for restaurants etc. in the area.

Beautifully restored old farmhouse with excellent amenities. Great swimming pool set in attractively-lit landscaped garden. Ombretta responded very quickly to all messages and was very friendly, as was Luciano (the caretaker). The mountains provided both a beautiful setting and some great hiking trails a short distance from the house.
