Our family owned Cottage located on the east bay of Houghton Lake. This is a perfect northern Michigan vacation spot for families and friends. Located directly on the water with a private dock. The water is shallow around and past the dock, making it a great place for kids to play. This house has all the amenities to enjoy your time up north, including kayaks and Paddle boards. After a long day in the water, grab a drink and take a seat on the porch and watch the amazing sunset over the lake

Our cabin is nestled in the trees with a short walk to Lake St. Helen. Relax after a day of fun in the sun or trails! 3 bedrooms, 1 bath plus an outdoor shower. We have 1 queen bed, 2 full beds and a couch. Many state ORV trails nearby. Ride from the cabin to the trails. Fishing at the floating pier or boat rentals available at the marina. Cookout, have a campfire, or head into town to eat. We have a jet pack by Verizon for limited wifi service or bring your own wifi. Smart TV w/out Cable.

Nice ranch with Houghton Lake at the end of the street. Access to launch a small boat. DNR launch close by. Property is on Devonshire which is the access road for the ORV trails. Trails are 1/2 mile down the street. Large fenced in yard with fire pit, BBQ and swing set. Great for kids. Boating, trail riding, hunting or just relaxing this is it. Sheets and towels included. Well water. Please note we have security cameras to monitor outdoor house access. Our cleaning staff is top notch.

Higgins Lake getaway

Our little getaway just under an acre & offers plenty of room for tents, boats and toys. 1st floor bdrm has a queen size bed, bathroom has tub/shower, loft has full size bed & full size futon. Kitchen has full amenities. Air conditioner unit in 1st floor bedroom, removed in cooler months. Cabin accommodates 6+ people. Our cabin is a great place whether you are coming up to enjoy the lake, Mackinaw Island, Traverse City, the Fall color tours, hunting, or winter activities.

Each half has 1 Queen Bedroom, 1 Twin Bunk room & a Living room. The excellent Wifi (Roku) & separate spaces are great for work/study & privacy. Extra Clean & Charming w/Decks out front & in the fenced in backyard. Charcoal Grill, Picnic table, 2 Kayaks w/cart & Fire pit w/lots of chairs. Pets must be approved w/Pet fee

The Hook-N-Ladder Lodge of Houghton Lake (Unit#2)

Our rental cottages are a unique set up. We offer a side by side duplex, both of which are directly on the water. This is a GREAT set up to bring the in laws or family friends. Open your front door and look out the large living room windows to the beautiful waterfront. The private lakefront consists of 75' on the water, 100' of dock, very sandy bottom great for swimming, bon fire pit and much, much more. This listing is for 1/2 the duplex, ( 1 cottage ).

It's a 12 min drive to Roscommon and a 20 min drive to Houghten Lake, where you can find anything you need or want, including more beaches and water sports.
