Gorgeous scenery! Great view of the mountains from both the front and back of the house. The house was very nice and clean. The location was perfect as it was remote and private while also being close to the Hellesylt ferry and other attractions. Amazing stay, would absolutely recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Are Abraham’s home! The location was peaceful and beautiful. We were surrounded by lovely views of the misty mountains and fjord. The house had a lovely patio and yard. My daughters particularly enjoyed playing on the swing set. The space worked nicely for our group of six — me, my husband, our three daughters (ages 2, 4 and 6) and my sister. We found the house easily with Google Maps, and check-in was very simple. Everything in the house was easy to find and use. The oven and washer were in good condition. Before our arrival Are was responsive to all my questions. His recommendations for things to do were wonderful. My family really enjoyed the Loen Skylift (only 8 minutes away) and seeing Briksdalsbreen. Are was proactive in making up a cot for my two year old and letting us know his mother was available to help while he was out of town for work. (We didn’t have any issues.) I would highly recommend Are’s house and Loen!

At Sonja's cabin we felt like we were truly living in a magical place, in connection with the surrounding nature. We will never forget the breathtaking views in the morning. The journal going back to the 1980s really gives life to this place, which you can tell was built with great care. Cannot recommend any other place to explore this part of Norway.

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

A large and cozy house with all the amenities needed for longer stays. A nice place to work remotely. The area is beautiful and from the house you have a beautiful view. Despite a lot of rain during our stay, we enjoyed the mountains, the house and the cider. The contact with Borgny went very smoothly. We were warmly welcomed and were even invited to go fishing with them. All in all, had a very good stay here!

This place is my mother's childhood. It's therefore special for me to stay there. Vertane has thought about the place, the house and history. Nice to see you and we will come again.

We could feel how much love and care for the details is being invested in this place from the first sight, and we immediately wanted to treat it the same way. Terje was a warm, caring and thoughtful host and we had an unforgettable weekend at his gorgeous place! Stunning views, beautiful nature and a perfect symbiosis between the old and the new. Cozy and extremely well decorated apartment with great views and a pristine environment. The location is also very convenient, about an hour’s drive to Geiranger. Monika was also a really helpful host, thanks for a good stay!

Silje's cabin on their dairy farm was wonderful! The views from the cabin are nothing short of spectacular! The cabin itself was clean, roomy enough and checked the boxes for a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower that was easy to regulate (although the enclosure was small, like most of the Airbnb's we've stayed at in Scandinavia)... The whole vibe was private and peaceful, just keep in mind it is a working farm, with the associated aromas and equipment sounds... Fairly short drives to things to see and do near Olden/Stryn... If she's available, have her give a tour of the dairy operation--fascinating and informative! We appreciated her passion for the animals and the farm... We LOVED our stay here!

Kristin is warm, super friendly and proactive. Made us feel right at home :) House is nicely curated and has everything you need. Just 15 mins from the city centre, gives best of the both worlds - peaceful and yet all the places are easily accessible.

Incredible is not enough to describe the accommodation. We stayed at the Congelador and everything was incredible from the beginning of the stay to the end. I highly recommend the jacuzzi and the sauna. It was an incredible experience. Thank you for the stay and for the incredible hospitality provided at every moment. Without a doubt, a place to return to without thinking twice!

Absolutely stunning stay, I wish we had stayed longer. The farm is like a picture book from days gone by, our unit was from 1760 (with appropriate updates) and was like living in a history book. Many old books and items from the 1700 or 1800's. We were told that one of the houses dated from the 1500's. Lots of room and lovely antique furniture. The kitchen seemed well stocked although we didn't cook. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh baked bread and multiple fruits and cheeses. As a working sheep farm, there was enough activity to occupy us if we chose while still being totally relaxing.

‏This is place is a heaven on the earth. By far the best airbnb I have ever Stayed in. ‏The host was exceptional meet, greet and gave brief about everything. ‏The home is satiated on the lake, got all what you need. The kichen is fully equipped. The bathroom got underfloor heating. The living room has an amzing view of the mountains and the lake. ‏We loved grilling outside peaceful and wonderful views.

Great view, on a farm with chickens, sheeps, cats and a rooster! Great base for hiking and climbing. It is their home so fully equipped.

We have spént a very pleasént evening at your place … . It s a shame we could not stay any longer !! Next Time may be !

Our stay at The Opera Farm was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful! We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and we had the best time seeing the lovely views, hiking near by and going out in the paddle boat on the lake. The house was cozy and quaint and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook while we were there. We decided to eat two of our meals at the hotel on the mountain above our house that is owned by the farm and it was the most amazing dinner and breakfast I have ever had! The chefs were fantastic and the food was unique and so flavorful in every way! Everything was perfectly cooked! The view from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. I highly recommend anyone who stays in this house to at least eat one meal at the hotel. Everyone we encountered from the beginning to end was so kind and helpful to us. We would definitely love to go back and stay here again sometime in the future!

We used this location for 4 days and had 3 families under one roof. We did some hiking, the via ferrata, The Golden Train, and the gondola. Ole Petter was responsive to any concerns we had. A bonus for the 3 year old we had with us was the friendly horses that were in pasture next to the house. Even when it was raining, it was a beautiful place to sit and look out at the mountains.

We had a lovely stay at Jo's apartment. It is a nice space that is bigger than it looks in the photos. Serene countryside location which is walking distance to hiking trails and a very short drive to town. We stayed two nights but wish we had stayed for longer! Thank you!

The place is breathtaking, my mom felt like her dream came true with the view from the cabin. Beyond amazing and highly recommend. Thank you Silje for the amazing hospitality, we will come back again for sure
