The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margravial Schreez Castle. In 2021 & 2022, we completely renovated the house.

Cozy studio apartment in quiet residential area, close to the center, with views over Bayreuth and unique sunsets. You can walk to downtown Bayreuth in a 20-minute walk. The train station and an Aldi can be reached in about 8 minutes on foot. The Festspielhaus can be reached in about 15 minutes. A large natural park, the former grounds of the state garden show, can be reached in 10 minutes. You can park right in front of the residential complex, along the road.

Die Lage bietet eine optimale Grundlage für Shopping- und Sightseeingtouren innerhalb von Bayreuth, Fichtelgebirge und Fränkische Schweiz. Sie brauchen also nicht zwingend einen PKW um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden; zumal in Bayreuth ein umfassendes Nahverkehrskonzept per Bus und Bahn existiert, und für Touren ins Umland stehe ich mit meinem PKW (gegen Bezahlung) gern zur Verfügung

Very nice accommodation. Bernd as a host was very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend a stay. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the university and the price-performance ratio is also great!

This is the first place I stayed when I relocated to Bayreuth. This is in the city center so you can go anywhere by walk itself. Room was spot on, it was clean and same as shown in photo. Host paid attention to each and everything by keeping all essentials like cooking utensils, vaccum, iron box etc which makes the life easy. Special mention to the host, she was very responsive and always there to help you with whatever she could do. I recommend this place. Think no further if you need a room in Bayreuth

Lovely condominium in the heart of Bayreuth

It was already our 2nd stay in this apartment and again everything was great. We were there for a week. The apartment is clean, has plenty of space, the bed is comfortable, blackout for the night and against the sun heat is possible. The kitchen is well equipped. WiFi and TV work well. Hosts are very kind and accommodating. Our grandchildren (4, 5 and 2 years old) were allowed to visit us for hours, which was also no problem. We will be happy to come back. Thank you

First floor apartment near university & Röhrensee

We loved Susanne's place, especially the back yard and its morning view. Please note that there's a family living on the 2nd floor of the house--it was fun to watch the kids play in the back yard, too. The place is not far from public transportation and near the University. Our son is studying there, and he was able to walk to visit with us. We used the washing machine which is in the basement. We were also able to find parking in front of the building easily. Susanne was very responsive both before we arrived and during our stay. It was great to meet her in person when we arrived. We hope to return to Bayreuth soon and look forward to staying at Susanne's place again.

Jonas' apartment was great, but pretty low for people over 1.80m. Even the cats were included: if you don't want the cats to cuddle with you in bed at night, don't leave the big window open. The pillows could be better, they are very uncomfortable. But otherwise everything is tiptop!

Cozy 2-room apartment in Bayreuth

The place was very lovingly decorated. We were very pleased with a water bottle, existing shampoo and shower gels and spices. Coffee powder and filters were available& so you had everything your heart desires. There were board games and fresh flowers on the dining table. It is a 5-minute walk to the university and the balcony has cut us off the socks. We sat, ate, and talked a lot there. So our stay was definitely a 12/10. Thank you Gabriela!
