"Home Place on the Maury" is nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and fronting the scenic Maury River. The logs of this charming cabin date back to the 1700's. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a spacious living room and dining room with an additional upstairs family room and office area. Unwind on the main level wrap-around porch with large screened area or on the upstairs screened porch. Sip a glass of wine by one of two fireplaces. Kayak the river or enjoy a lazy float downstream.

Entire Country Cottage guesthouse / Very Private

Gloriously private without feeling secluded, this charming guesthouse was totally updated in 2019. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Go for a walk or bike ride on the 28 plus acres or pretty rural lanes. 2.5 miles away is Lake Robertson for activities . Sit on the porch too! On a snowy night, enjoy the wd-burning fireplace . (We will often leave fireplace prepared to light. Gas heating also). Get cozy with the full kitchen, washer/dryer, games and books. DirecTv in the living room and bedroom. too!

Secluded cabin close to VMI, W&L, and Lexington.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

Guest House in the Valley

Our guest house is only a few minutes away from Historic Lexington. The house has one master bedroom with a king size bed. We have a fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer, and full bathroom. We are also close to the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Virginia Military Institute, Washington and Lee University, and the Virginia Horse Center. The house provides great views and a place to relax either on the back porch, the front deck, or a walk through the surrounding area.

This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

Wilderness area farm five miles from VMI and W&L in Lexington, Virginia. A natural spring fed creek runs through the property about 1/2 mile frontage- great for fishing which is available to guests. Fronts route 76 national bike route (Plank Road) a bikers paradise. Four mountain bikes available for guests. Spectacular natural views- fields, mountains, river and cliffs. Property include use of large outdoor spaces, decks, porches, fire pit and picnic tables. Dogs welcome!!

Welcome to The Maury River Treehouse! This luxury timber frame cabin sits on the banks of the Maury River. The Treehouse was built almost entirely by local craftsmen this is a must see! Located 9 miles from Lexington, Washington & Lee and Virginia Military Institute. It's a fisherman's friend, paddlers paradise or just a relaxing retreat! Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
