We loved our stay at the ‘nook’ lovely surroundings, walking distance to stunning coastal hikes and beaches. The place itself was homely, very considered and peaceful. Absolutely recommend to anyone and we can’t wait to come back!

A blissful retreat, with absolutely stunning views. The Bothy is cozy and well kitted out, and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful.

We had a lovely time away. Alison and Craig are amazing hosts, very helpful, we appreciated all the recommendations. They make sure everything is up to your standards and want you to feel at home, which we really did. This beautiful place has all the facilities you need. The view is breathtaking and the bbq is a perfect touch. We enjoyed drinks at the local pub with the view of the beach, the beach is lovely and peaceful. The food and cocktails at the local restaurant are also amazing!

We had a fabulous stay, Anne was a great host and check in was super easy. The garden was ideal as we had our dog with us, who also thoroughly enjoyed his stay ☺️🐾 plenty of blankets, books, board games and a perfectly clean home. We stayed for 3 nights and felt right at home. Would highly recommend. Great biscuits to accompany the coffee too!

By following the sat nav the house was easy to find. The location is ideal to use as a base to visit nearby places. There is a bus service that goes through the village roughly hourly which starts early in the morning and finishes at a reasonable time at night. We used the service quite regularly and didn’t have to use the car unless travelling further a field ,but no doubt could have used the bus for further places but there would be a time element to consider. There is a walk from the village to padstow which we took and although dry was uphill and down dale in places. Although the sign says 2 mls I think to the centre of padstow more like 2 3/4 mls. The old mill restaurant in the village is superb and a loverly setting for a meal inside or out, depending on weather. I must also say that Hollie was very helpful and accommodating with regard to our booking due to a medical situation and had to alter dates at the last minute.

A truly perfect stay – peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of holistic vibes with the sauna and cold shower + hot tub. Exceeded all expectations. Noiseless, calming, and exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful find. We met at Tygwella for a family holiday, some of us coming from Australia and some from Manchester. The house was ideal. It was spacious so we could occupy different “wings” with our own bathrooms and come together for meals, chat and play. The house was very generously supplied with basic provisions, kitchen and laundry equipment. We wanted for nothing. Having two ovens was great for cooking adult and children’s meals. The location was so peaceful with great views and easy access to the coast path and beach.

The Lodge is absolutely lovely. It had everything I needed in it. Mark is friendly and approachable. He left breakfast bits, shower gel and shampoo in The Lodge. Would happily stay again.

This place was a total gem! You’re basically a stone’s throw from Fistral Beach, so whether you're chasing dawn patrol or sneaking in a cheeky sunset session, you're defo sorted. The setup is super surf-friendly, there’s a garage with board storage and a wash room to rinse off the salty goodness. Total game changer. The place itself? Perfect! Big, bright, and comfy with a massive balcony that serves up seriously stunning views — perfect for post-surf brews or a bit of sunset daydreaming. Kitchen’s fully kitted out too, had everything we needed to refuel after a day in the waves. William was a legend - really responsive, helpful, and just made the whole stay easy breezy. And it’s only a short stroll to all the shops, bars and tasty eats around town. Would 100% book again, ideal base for a surf trip or a beachy escape. Cheers, William!

Julie is a wonderful host and a very kind human being. Her apartment shows how considerate she is. We found everything needed in the flat. Flat is very clean, tidy, good linens, balcony view with sound of the waves is outstanding. Bed is good for sleeping. Comfy sofa and other electric machines are fine. We cooked meals happily. Bathroom is nice and clean. Close to town centre and other beaches. Rooftop is nice. We stayed here for seven days. She even arranged for late check-in to help us to relax before catching our flight home. This holiday experience is so great!! We hope to visit again In sha Allah. Thank you Julie. Stayed here for 4 nights, it was a shame it was work related as the place is lovely and would of liked to of spent more time here. Lovely spot, great location and would definitely stay here again :)

From start to finish our stay was absolutely amazing. The view is every bit as good as the pictures. We were there in June and the sun didn’t set until 9.30pm, drinks on the patio were a nightly thing while we watched the tide come in as the sun went down. The apartment is pretty much at the top of a reasonably steep hill, but even with my knee problems I managed to go up 2 or 3 times a day. As you walk up the hill past the Seiners Arms (great pub, good food with beautiful patio). you can see Perranporth Beach in its entirety. Absolutely stunning. The town has everything you need like a Co-Op, Launderette, pubs, restaurant, beach / surf wear shops. Things do shut down earlier than we expected (around 9pm) but it was June so not peak season yet. The apartment is spacious, you come in through the back door into a large kitchen with all the appliances etc that you’d need. 2 bedrooms, a large lounge with TV. I thoroughly recommend this place. Hannah was an exceptional host too.

Kerry and Chris were always responsive and helpful. Their place is one of the larger units I’ve stayed in and has plenty of space for a couple family. Good outside area and plenty of parking. Would book again

Lovely modern apartment set in beautiful peaceful and restful surroundings. Very clean with all facilities. Clear instructions for check-in and general instructions. Felt very at home. Easy to find and some manageable steps to property. Nice beach and amazing views. Within walking distance or five minute drive from Looe-which was our main interest. Would happily book again. We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

We have loved staying at Susan's place, it's really well done, comfortable and clean. It's close to local places such as Port Issac and Polzeath. We would certainly come back when in the area again

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We stayed here for 4 days of our ‘mini moon’. We wanted to enjoy peace and quiet and an easy trip to the beach. It ticked all those boxes. Porthtowan is a treasure going back to my husbands childhood. The accommodation was so peaceful, clean and comfortable. Dominique was very helpful in sending some recommendations before we arrived which were all well utilised. The walk can be challenging as it is a bit of a climb (only slightly and took around 6 minutes) but completely worth the views and the peaceful feel on top of the cliff. Thank you for having us!

Just want to say a massive thankyou again! We had a lovely time staying at Blue View and the flat had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped & the views are to die for!! The pool was heated so I was able to take my 4 month old son in there who loved it! Kirsten & Ben are very friendly and even had the flat ready for us a couple of hours before the usual check in time :D we will definitely be back next year! X
