House holiday rentals in Rochester

We had a great stay at Amy’s place while in town for my son’s sporting event. The house is large, very clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—it made traveling with kids so much easier. Amy was a fantastic host—she sent over restaurant recommendations before we arrived and even mailed back a few clothes we accidentally left in the dryer (so appreciated!). The location was super convenient—close to stores (Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Wegmans), restaurants, Lake Ontario (2 miles away), and only about 20 minutes to Rochester. We visited in early April, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor space, but it all looked lovely.

Generously stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Unheated pool was a little too chilly the beginning of June, but great back yard space for grilling and visiting. A lounge chair with an adjustable back for reading would make it even more amazing. Loved that I could go for a walk on quiet country roads in the morning. Thank you Traci for all the extra's, your home worked out perfectly for us and we'll be back!

The home was bigger than the pictures made it seem. Perfect size for our family trip. Pool and outside area was well maintained and peaceful. The inside was very clean and comfortable. Beatriz was very responsive and helpful.

Neil's place was the perfect spot for a family reunion. The house was located within walking distance of local restaurants and shops (or a very short drive) and had a nature walking trail just down the street. Neil clearly put great care into making the home comfortable for guests. It was well stocked and appointed. When we cooked dinner our last evening, there were sufficient plates and cooking supplies - a peeler, wine opener, etc. When it rained, we enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the large dining table with a sufficient number of chairs (lots of cards games). There were plenty of rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The washer and dryer worked great and he provided the detergent. Will definitely be looking to book Neil's place in the future!

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy a weekend with friends while we attended an outdoor concert at Wayne County Fairgrounds. This definitely hit the mark! Four adults and dog were very comfortable. Spacious bedrooms, great kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out, and comfortable house overall. Even saw two deer and a fox in the backyard one night! Highly recommend because Kenneth was more than accommodating.

We stayed here for my daughters near-by wedding. It was great to have a place big enough for my family to be together and enjoy the weekend. This is an exceptional property!! The hosts were gracious and wonderful. I booked this long before it was done. ...a bit on a wing and a prayer for what they had hoped to do..... There was no disappointment. The place is very nice. (That is an understatement). Well stocked. Everything you need and so much more!!! The barn was a huge hit. My 5 year old grandson summed it up when he first walked into the upstairs "bonus" room. He turned to his 3 year old brother and exclaimed "(brother's name) ...we've hit the jackpot!" The host has several other properties which I am sure are all as nice....I wouldn't hesitate to check those out if you are traveling elsewhere. But, if you are going to be in the area, do treat yourself and your fellow guests and do stay here.

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Magnificent homestead built in 1855. Beautiful grounds. Loved the animals in the barn. Lovely tennis court and swimming pool. Comfy beds! Martha was totally responsive and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing stay!😊

The home was spacious, beautifully designed, and had an amazing view. Our kids loved the toys and having so much room to play. We also enjoyed having a great park nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the unique space!

Vibe’s place was great! Super accommodating when we had a last minute change of plans. Beautiful neighborhood that is quiet. Very proactive about issues as well! Nice place that is very simple but gets the job done.

Our stay at Mike and Tisbe’s was incredible. The home and yard were perfect and the view of the lake and sunset were just wonderful. Mike and Tisbe were always responsive. Highly, highly recommend!!!!

Absolutely loved my stay! The place was spotless, exactly as described, and had everything I needed for a comfortable trip. Dwight was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful three-night stay at this beautiful lake house in Sea breeze. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of Lake Ontario — especially from the spacious wraparound deck, where we spent mornings with coffee and evenings enjoying the sunset. The deck was perfect for both relaxing and entertaining, with panoramic views that made every moment feel special. Inside, the large, open kitchen with windows facing the lake made cooking and dining a pleasure. The home was spotless and well-maintained, with two very comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom featuring a large, luxurious shower. The living room was cozy and bright, with a large tv. Our host Kristin was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making check-in and communication seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay while visiting our son at RIT. Our pups loved the fenced in backyard and a great and quiet neighborhood for walking. Bathrooms were especially extra clean which means a lot to us while traveling. We spent lots of time in the nice sunroom with comfy couches and privacy. Jason was very communicative. We felt right at home!

I can’t even put into words how lovely this Airbnb is! My now wife and I stayed here for our wedding weekend. What a wonderful sanctuary to walk into; especially riding in on a wave of excitement and nerves. It truly felt like a home away from home and brought us so much comfort and joy. Every detail of this home is impeccable. The vibes? Full of love and light. We thank you for creating such a warm home and sharing it with so many others. We felt the love in every record, every texture, and every step. As the terminator says, I’ll be back.

I have stayed in Air B and Bs all throughout Europe and in the USA. This place is at the top of the list in just about every category. The host is easy to reach, proactive and responsive. Very clean place and the amenities were all first class. I was at this place for a golfing reunion with my brothers who came from all over the world. We are all in our 70s and 80s. None of us, (including my perfectionist brother who always finds something to complain about) had any complaints. In addition, the neighborhood is great. Plenty of nice, high quality restaurants . Easy walking to just enjoy the magnificent housing in the area. Also close to the Museum and Planetarium for the rainy days. We had a great time and could not be happier with this rental.

What can I say? The Hilltop Chalet was beautiful! It was private, clean and had everything you could dream of. David and Karen had the best tips and we very responsive. So close to Canandaigua and Naples. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very good as it has a really good view, quiet, and close to lots of state parks. The room is cozy and spacious. Kitchen has all the utensils. Angela is really helpful before and during our stay. Definitely recommend!

The home was exactly what you’d want for a spot on the water to enjoy the views. Christina was quick to respond to a question I had regarding paddle board rentals. Would love to visit their home again!!

We loved our stay! My daughter was graduating from U of Rochester and our family of 8 came including my 87 (very picky) mom :) she raved about the place and we loved it. Great location, safe, and most of CLEAN, that is so important to me when I stay somewhere and this home is immaculate. The hosts are super responsive and only regret is that i did not find this before she sooner during her 4 years at Rochester!

Jessica is the sweetest! Such an incredible host that made my family’s stay for graduation weekend incredible. We loved coming back and taking walks around the quiet neighborhood, and enjoyed the lovely space. Would highly recommend this place!
