Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rochesson

This chalet is fantastic. We made full use of the Weber BBQ with the lovely weather we had. The chalet is very comfortable and fully equipped, including even an airconditioning. I have a bad back so am not always comfortable in a bed away from home but Laurence’s bed was a dream!

This place was beautiful for a short weekend stay and in a gorgeous part of the world! What was particularly impressive for us was how well-stocked the kitchen was. My husband and I are foodies, we love to cook on holiday, and we’re used to bringing our own spices, equipment etc - in this case it was fully unnecessary as the place had EVERYTHING and very high quality. So this was a plus. Otherwise can’t fault anything - very clean, well equipped, very welcoming for families with toddler equipment, and great recommendations from Wilma and Delphine for everything we needed. Thank you!

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

The accommodation was perfectly in line with the description, our stay went well. The place is very quiet, perfect for enjoying the terrace.

Can you give 6 stars? For that, Gite Roche Des Ducs has deserved. We were looking for a place to get the pulse down. Where we could feel at home like family. And have the Vosges close, but at the same time enjoy the comforts of life. And we found it all. It's incredibly beautiful. Roche Des Ducs is located on the outskirts of Rochesson with the mountains on both sides, but still with plenty of sun. And with two heated pools, hot tubs, goats and swings, there was also something for our kids to do. At the same time, it's close to Géraldmer, which has shopping opportunities and a market twice a week. The area is packed with great hiking trails. We chose to eat in the apartment because here was so cozy and we could sit on our own balcony, but the restaurants in the area looked really good. The apartment appears new with clear conscious choices about organic materials and everything is in the best condition. The kitchen is well equipped. And then there's the host, Christian, who speaks only French, but is so incredibly friendly that we figured it out anyway. Thank you so much.

We felt very comfortable in the gite. Despite rainy weather, there was never boredom. Lots of space, great fireplace, very nice rooms.

We had such a nice time with Régine as a whole family. The garden alone is a dream. The apartment offers plenty of space to spread out and everything is of very high quality. The amenities are perfect. Régine and her husband are really warm, attentive and always approachable. We always felt comfortable and welcome! The area around Le Tholy invites you to explore and relax. Simply great!

Beautiful house and garden in the middle of amazing hiking routes and nature. Sylvie was very kind and helpful. We will definitely come back!

Very nice accommodation in the middle of a beautiful rural and forest environment. After our outings during the day, we were happy to return "home". Anne-Marie was available and answered our questions... and our chatter.

Sylvette is a beautiful friendly person. We loved the place and she welcomed us with fantastic wine, cooled fruit juice for kods and kuglof cake. Everything was spottless. The place is cosy, kids enjoyed the playground, great wineries nearby, great restaurants, close to many beautiful cities and villages. We enjoyed are staying, we wish it was longer. Thank you, Sylvette. ❤️

Great place to drop on the Alsace route du vin.

Had a nice stay, responded quickly to questions and very comfortable house with good shower and beds! After 4 days, the gas ran out, this was resolved very quickly. Relax by the pool. Kitchen utensils could be of better quality (knives and frying pan), otherwise absolutely everything is present. I went there with a friend for a cycling holiday, this was really perfect for that! Would definitely recommend it!

The place is great for a few days of outdoor getaways. A perfect little cocoon to unwind. We were very pleasantly surprised by this cozy little place.

Even before our arrival our host was communicative and provided all the information needed. We arrived in the late afternoon and enjoyed the straight forward check in which was explained to us up front. The property is nicely presented with a lot of open space, great natural light due to the large glass doors and amble amenities. The log fire oven is a special treat during a cool evening. The bedrooms are of generous size and the beds comfortable. I also enjoyed the gym which was quite well equipped. The host checked a few times about our wellbeing but we didn’t experience any problems. Overall, the house had all we needed and is situated in a quiet area but not too far from a few local shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks to a great host.

Excellent weekend. Very spacious accommodation, clean, very well equipped and quality equipment. Quiet but not very far from the center (approx. 15 min walk). Very nice views from the accommodation. I would recommend it.

We (7 adults, 3 children and 1 dog) had - except for the weather, for which the landlord is not responsible - 3 wonderful days in the house Le Batelier. We were very warmly welcomed, received a tour of the whole house with a nice briefing in the kitchen, TV, etc. We felt right at home. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, even dishes and glasses are sufficiently available. 3 bathrooms - well equipped - 4 toilets, 5 bedrooms - with enough space for clothes, etc. - and everything very clean! On the day of departure, André was there on time at 10 a.m. as agreed. We can highly recommend this accommodation!!!

We loved the place during our stay! It is really beautiful, especially the master suite impressed us. It's a bit remote, but that's exactly what we wanted. A trip to Strasbourg was also possible, about a 50-minute drive. You just can't be on the road without a car😉 I'm sure we'll be back!

The accommodation is of excellent quality: spacious, modern, very well equipped (petanque, sauna, barbecue, full kitchen...), in a quiet and green environment, a few minutes walk from the center of Corcieux. We had a lovely stay! Small downside, however, on the organization on arrival and departure. Upon our arrival, the crib, although requested, was not prepared. We had to wait for the manager, agreed between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., who finally arrived at 7:30 p.m. On the day of departure, her colleague showed up 45 minutes ahead of the agreed schedule, and took a seat in the living room while we finished tidying up. She was kind and polite, but it somewhat precipitated our departure. This does not affect the quality of the place, but leaves a slightly embarrassing impression at the end of the stay.

We spent a few days with the whole family in Francois's beautiful house for the second time. Everyone, even the children felt very comfortable, a real family house. Large, well equipped, quietly located on the edge of the forest. We will be happy to come back next year.
