Lovely hosts, great location, great pool area. Spectacular views, managed to see Etna erupting.

Angela is a very dedicated host. She put together a dossier like the Yellow Pages with tips, was always available, everything organized. The house is in a quiet area, you should have a car. The shops are also within walking distance. The house itself has everything you need. Beautiful rooms, pool is also nice but I myself heated too cold, but I am also frozen, my daughter did not do that at all. We felt very comfortable.

Fabio was a charming and welcoming host. He is clearly passionate about tourism and making his guests welcome and at ease. He and his family were very kind. As a sporty family we used the gym a lot ( which we had to ourselves). We would have loved an outdoor pool but knew there wasn’t one and he is now aiming to install an outdoor pool. The apartment is well air conditioned and has everything needed ( we were a family of 5) and with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Lovely robes left for us and a sun hat each Really nice touches which show that Fabio cares about making a good impression - which he did. You do need a car as the apartment is quite some way out but if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t) then the quiet was good. The perfect location to be close to Tropea but also have privacy and peace. Luisa was very kind and was always available to answer our questions. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed, the parking space was also very appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a peaceful space while also being close to the beaches.

This place is a gem!!! Includes an adorable home with multiple outdoor dining areas, pool (shared between a couple of villas), and a stunning private beach (down 400 steps but well worth it!). Our mixed age group (2 year old, 92 year old and 3 adults) absolutely loved it! Was a beautiful escape and felt like we were getting a taste of the region. We loved spending time at the pool and cooking in the kitchen. For those who may have trouble with stairs - one bedroom is ground floor, two are upstairs. It is only a few minutes drive from some great restaurants, and 20 minute drive to Tropea. Definitely recommend having a car if you stay here.

Highly recommended for people who expect privacy. It’s a modest but Clean and comfortable apartment. All things in descrption were found inside although it takes a bit time to guess for example how to turn on THE washing machine ,THE oven or warm Water. Instructions from Valentina are however clean. You can chill outside with beautiful view of perfectly maintained garden and sea view . THE biggest plus is also Access to beautiful pool, water is clean and its pretty big, circa 18 metres of length. Valentina is very caring person and despite not being present in Calabria , she gives all details about check in, house rules , places to visit, where to eat or buy local cheese. That was very helpful for us and I’m sure without her tips we would be unaware of many things around.

We had an amzing stay with Giorgio and Antonella. Met with a late check in no problem as they always look out for us if we needed help. Amazing kitchen with a supernice patio where we had some nice dinner. One of the best stays so far.

Highly recommend. Large bedroom / office, great wifi, clean, safe, private, cleaning equipment. 5 minute walk into the center of the village.

Concettas's house is more than just a place to stay, it's an experience! Nicola showed us around and pointed out interesting aspects of the home. From the huge, old, front door key, to the stair-well trap door to great extra space, it was a great way to arrive. It's old, but well-restored, quaint, cosy and unique. The outside terrace is great for having meals and just for sitting, absorbing the sounds. Concetta and Nicola are great hosts - very friendly and Concetta gave us recommendations of restuarants and places to visit. We loved it and were sad to leave.

We spent two weeks in this beautiful apartment. We didn't miss anything! The apartment was clean, very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Large cozy terrace to linger on. Communication with Antonio was very good. No matter what the concern, he helped immediately. The beach is very close with a beautiful sea. We highly recommend this apartment. We really felt at home. Highly recommended. Thanks also to Antonio's parents, who welcomed us very warmly and helped us whenever necessary.

We had the best stay at Bruno’s place! It offers everything you need, plus it is very clean and pretty. There is a wonderful garden and a beautiful terrace. The location in Drapia up on the mountain is suitable for people who like it calm and enjoy the slow living lifestyle for vacation. Bruno and his wife are definitely the nicest hosts we ever got to know and we are so happy we decided to stay with them! Bruno offers help wherever he can and has perfect knowledge of what the area has to offer. All in all a perfect vacation we will not forget! We‘ll definitely come back :)

We were greeted by the father-in-law who helped us with the suitcases. The house is very spacious with a large terrace where you have a beautiful view. The bed sleeps well, shower also nice. It is a small cozy village with few facilities. You have to drive down to get there. Please note, Google sends you the wrong way, always keep left when you drive up.

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

It is as described in the pictures. The apartment is very close to the beach. That's great. At our time, there was a lot of construction work around the apartment and it was very loud. It is good to know that the terrace is visible to all neighbors on every side. Therefore, you have no privacy on the terrace. The accommodation is otherwise very clean and has plenty of space. The host Salvatore is very helpful and nice, everything worked out great.

Really great place! Very close to shops, the beach and cable car to the town. Super clean and spacious. Very helpful Host, responded very quickly to any questions and arranged a taxi for us.

We were greeted with smiles and joy just lovely all around. Simona left us Prosecco, fruits from her garden, coffee and more. The apartment is rather basic as communicated in the description. The big plus of this accommodation is due to the location in the picturesque village, the spacious terrace with generous sea views and the apartment's own charm. Fiammetta is a great hostess who was always available for questions. Thanks to her existing local knowledge and the associated recommendations for restaurants and beaches, we were able to rely on her blindly and enjoyed the 14 days in Briatico and the surrounding area. We would like to be her guest again at any time. All in all, and especially for people who want a break from stressful everyday life, a perfect option to experience Calabria at its best.

Not suitable for mobility restricted people. Top of steep hill with many steps. But, a unique experience. 5 stars simply thanks to Emanuele who took us to the accommodation at midnight after a late flight. He runs the local restaurant and reversed us up the steep hill with bags! Difficult in hire car. Can walk from house to good restaurants including Emanuele’s Villa Souvenir. Emanuele was always answering any questions by WApp
