Apartment holiday rentals in River Ness

The Drumossie Bothy sounds like a very small basic Air B&B. It is not. It is a spacious very well equipped extension to the House that Helen lives in. A large kitchen area, a good sized shower room and toilet and a large living and sleeping area plus a room with a washer and dryer. Outside is a private patio with open outlook and a log burner fired hot tub. There is also a picnic table for outdoor eating. We could not find anything that let Drumossie Bothy down apart from the mattress in the bed which we found too soft for our liking but which may well suit others. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and met Helen and her husband who were good fun and great to talk to even providing a clutch of duck eggs for our consumption. When we arrived the Bothy was equipped with everything we needed for our first breakfast and some of it lasted for four days. The location of the Bothy provides you with a panoramic view over the fields to the Moray coast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay in Mairi’s space. The apartment was very clean, bright, and comfortable. Mairi makes you feel so welcome. This place was the best equipped Airbnb that we have stayed in. Mairi even had a jug of milk waiting in the fridge when we got in, perfect for me, who was needing a nice hot cup of tea! Inverness is a great hopping off spot for your touring of the Highlands, and Mairi made us feel like we were staying with a friend. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Catherine’s place. It was exceptionally clean and had lots of extras. Tea,coffee, condiments etc. Bed was super comfy and plenty soft fluffy towels for the bathroom. Its just like the photos and more. There is lovely walk along the river nearby and an easy walk to town which had lots of restaurants,pubs and shops. Our only issue was the stairs which are a little steep for a couple in their late 70s,but don’t be put off because it’s a really great place to stay in Inverness and Catherine is super helpful.

Overall stay was great. Host communication and flexibility was fantastic from beginning to end. Good recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Location is close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

super cute apartment! loved the walk right by the canal and down to the water. only complaint was the strong smell of weed every afternoon and evening, but I guess you can't have it all.

It was a beautiful place and easy to get into town from. Gorgeous surroundings in a centrally located spot so you could get to many things. Host was very helpful and also had some items stocked to help us get our trip started.

Clean and tidy. Exactly as advertised, 5min walk to downtown. Good parking.

This is the second time we have stayed with Agnes and Ania. It is a big, bright, beautiful flat, easily walkable to the train station as well as the bus station. It is up several flights of stairs, however, if you have trouble with those. We highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Emanuele's studio in Inverness was perfect for what I needed! It was very easy to walk to points of interest like restaurants, businesses, and sights in the city center. This includes the bus depot and train station. Parking was also extremely convenient with permitted parking right in front of the apartment. The place was cozy and convenient and really added to my wonderful time in Inverness. Would absolutely recommend!

Wonderful location…very close to the centre but also quite during the night. Jill kindly let us check in earlier and check out later. The flat had everything we needed for our stay. We are definitely coming back!

Ian is a brilliant host and what a lovely space to stay. Central, easy to find, super clean and comfortable. Ian communicated so clearly with me. Touches like wine and strawberries in the fridge went a long way to feel welcome, especially after a long day driving. Fresh flowers and plants provided an extra homely feel and very comfortable bed! When I come back to Inverness, I know where I will be staying. Thank you Ian.

Kevin's apartment was absolutely fabulous. 4 of us (2 couples) were very comfortable there and really pleased with pretty much everything about it!! The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and has brilliant views of Spey Bay and Lossiemouth East Beach. The listing details are very accurate and pretty much anything we needed was available in the apartment. Good restaurants were in easy walking distance and there was ample parking for our cars at the apartment. Kevin was very helpful regarding check in and apartment access and was very responsive to any questions we had. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, central, stay on the Moray Coast - and hope to come back again in future!!

After the taxi took us to the wrong street, we asked some local passers-by where the street was, and fortunately it was close by. The instructions to get in the flat were very clear and accurate. It was very clean and quiet. I would suggest having your own toiletries as only sample sizes are provided. I would also arrange for uber or taxi service if you’re taking the bus or train to Inverness.

Superb, very spacious, thoughtfully and immaculately presented basement flat of family home. Felt private. Super location for walking to local amenities /beach. Mike and Helen have thought through what helps a holiday maker and provided it in the apartment . Communication was v. prompt and helpful. All good!

This was a great spot along the river to unwind after leaving the big city. Amanda’s place felt cozy and welcoming and had every amenity we needed, and more. One of the best stays we’ve had using Airbnb. Her instructions were very thorough and clear so I never needed to ask any questions. Excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, clean kitchen, and great view! Our stay was short but know if we come back this way, we’d book here again.

Much quieter than listing suggests. Don’t be put off by warning of noise, worst it gets is people walking above and washing machine. Lovely place, clean, tranquil with plenty of storage and well equipped
