Bungalow holiday rentals in River Dyfi

Just had a few days at Mews Cottage, Aberdovey. We totally switched off and immersed ourselves in this lovely tranquil cottage opposite the estuary/sea. There are two poang chairs in front of a large window with beautiful views, I had my binoculars which are a bonus, the bird life although not too varied is lovely to watch. The cottage was immaculately clean, spacious and very warm. We cannot wait to return. Aberdovey is a great place for a short break or maybe longer if you fancy :)

Lovely stay at the Cowabungalow. Restful week of beautiful scenery and walks, near to train station.. hardly used the car. Lovely and tastefully decorated home with everything we needed. Good size for a family of 4

Beautiful location and luxurious house. Views along the Menai Strait were fabulous, especially with the sunrise. House is spacious and well laid out with plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and five children. Bedrooms are large and spacious, 3 fully en-suite, 2 with a large shared family bathroom and the sixth with access to shower and toilet next to it. Fab kitchen and two lounges. Would definitely stay again.

The house was spotless, very well equipped with good quality items and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, we never heard a sound other than the sea and the occasional seagull. The garden was very private. We went to Porthmadog and did a trip on the steam train to Beddgelert which is such a pretty village. We got an ice cream and sat by the river. Lovely shops too. We went to Portmeirion one day which was lovely as it was a warm sunny day. The most outstanding feature of course was the stunning view. It was an absolute joy to watch the sunsets as the big orange sun gradually disappeared behind the mountains. Something we will remember forever.

Perfect! The location is outstanding, the cottage so welcoming and homely with everything that we needed. We enjoyed the wonderful views, sea swimming, walks on the beach, coastal paths, sunsets and star gazing. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning, thank you.

Perfect place to take the family for a relaxing weekend right in the beach absolutely perfect . Everything in the house that you need and shops close by . Highly recommend

This is the second time we have stayed in Richards place and as before it fully lived up to our expectation. We were looking for somewhere at short notice and were pleasantly surprised it was a was available. The village of Rhosneigr is great for a few days relaxation and our days were spent walking with doggo along the coastline and visiting the local cafes/coffee shops so all in all a perfect place to decompress! Not sure what its like in the high season but it was pretty quite outside of the school holidays. Highly recommended.

The location is outstanding, perfect for travelling with small children. Spacious lawned areas to play. Spotless cottage with very comfortable beds. Close access to the beach. Welcoming host with lots of communication. We hope to visit again. Many thanks

Lovely home and host. Was a really romantic picturesque view with the hot tub and stream, surrounded by views of amazing mountains. Will be looking to stay here again in future.

My friend and I had a lovely week at Nicola' s bungalow. It was extremely well- equipped and the bottle of wine and Welsh cakes were very welcome. Nicola left very detailed and clear instructions on how to use the facilities, which isn't always the case, so our stay was made worry free .I think it might be useful to other elderly visitors to know that the 5 minute beach access is via a very steep road which we, unfortunately, were unable to take advantage of. Other than that Heddfan is ideal holiday accommodation and we thoroughly recommend it .

We stayed here whilst volunteering as a family at the Talyllyn Railway, and it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day’s graft. The bungalow is in a great location, and was really comfortable.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location, the bungalow was very clean and comfortable with a lot of character. Many places of interest in the surrounding areas. Helen was a great host and we had a lovely stay. We found the local pubs, the Red Lion, New Church In, Dicken Arms all truly excellent for evening meals. Would not hesitate to return.

It was a last minute decision to go to Wales and Kay’s property was the first I saw on the app and the perfect match for what we wanted. A peaceful place, surrounded by the nature, so my family could spend a nice time and slow down from our busy lives. The place was lovely, the house felt like home and very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather was not the best. But the boys managed to play football in the rain. We would definitely go back. Thanks Kay!
