We felt comfortable in the historic house and the extensive olive grove all around. You have the estate completely to yourself and can enjoy peace and nature accordingly. The location is perfect. You can quickly reach the towns of Camaiore, Pietrasante and Viareggio by car. Gianluca provided us with valuable tips and hints for excursions and local specialties in a humorous and warm way.

Lorenza's cottage is delightful, as is the entire village that literally enchanted us. Lorenza's mother was really kind, she booked us dinner in the tiny and beautiful restaurant in Tereglio and left us wood for the fireplace in the living room (which we used in the evening, it was a bit cold in those days). We look forward to coming back.

Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

The stay in Volegno will stay in our memory for a long time. The view from the windows and the terrace itself is a great attraction, no matter the weather, we admired it for hours. A place for people who value peace and contact with nature. You can calm down and relax here. A good starting point for exploring the mountains. A cozy, spacious home with everything you need. Good communication with the host, waited for us at the agreed time, helped with luggage from the parking lot, provided information about local attractions. Volegno is a place to come back to.

Ilaria's home and garden make you feel like you are "Sitting on Top of the World". Like in the Walter Vinson and Lonnie Chatmon song. Time flew in Perpoli, like the swallows in the clear blue sky that embraced the mighty mountains at the horizon. The house is intimate, like the village whereas the garden is a never ending story. Ilaria is a super friendly host who was easy to communicate with and (together with her father's art) has given this place a piece of magic. No doubt we would love to come back

We had a wonderful time in Lucas' house. His warm mother Virginia and Luca himself are excellent hosts – friendly, attentive and always helpful. (And of course Dora🥰, the dog, not to forget) Everything was very clean and well maintained, you immediately felt comfortable. The garden with the lemon and olive trees is an absolute dream - ideal for relaxing and enjoying. It is also particularly nice that you can do a lot of things due to the location between mountains and sea. There are numerous attractions in the area that can be reached quickly, or you can just chill by the sea.🏖 We can recommend this house at any time and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this unforgettable stay. Hidden gem with spectacular views. Very friendly and supportive hosts. Cozy getaway with everything you need. Off the beaten tracks but close enough.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved Federica’s place. We were able to cook meals, do laundry, and re-charge for the next adventure. Very easy to explore Pistoia from here. If you bring a rental car just know that you’ll have to park in a public lot. We parked in a free lot that was a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend!

Top location, with excellent amenities. The view is beautiful and a big plus for the private cooking class! Don't hesitate, just book.

Our family of 4 had a great stay at Fabrizio’s place. A Short walk from the train station with clear instructions, a fantastic view, and outdoor patio we used all the time. Plenty of space and all the amenities. You can hear the trains, but they didn’t bother us at all. We would definitely stay again!

We loved staying at Elisa’s place - so lovingly restored and a truly special place. Beautiful setting and we loved hanging out in the garden on the sun loungers in the peaceful surroundings. Being able to say hello to their dogs and having their sweet cats in the garden made it feel like home to us. Easy parking nearby. Thank you so much!

Casa Maria Rosa was perfect for our family in every way. It’s a spacious flat in a fantastic location. Keep in mind that you can’t drive your luggage all the way to the door and the nearest parking we found (paid) was a half mile from the flat (10 min walk). I understand that a taxi CAN drive your luggage all the way to the door so you might consider that if needed.

The stay with Alessandro and Diego was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 minutes away by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 minutes, … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights, 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Thanks for a great stay!

This villa was something out of a dream. Stefania was so lovely and wonderful with recommendations and booking us a rez at a fantastic local gem of a restaurant. The views were incredible and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The villa itself was cozy and inviting. The outside seating area was well used by us for nightcaps, dinner and conversations about falling in love with Tuscany and all it's amazing nooks and crannies. We wanted a picturesque and home-like central base for our 10 day adventure in Italy and we're delighted with the accommodations that really was like something out of a movie. Lucca was only a short drive away and offered the best grocery store-Esselunga! Thank you Stefania for your warm generosity, kindness and suggestions. This was a birthday trip that we will never forget and cemented our longing to return soon!

The only suggestion we have for future visitors is not to attempt driving with a car all the way by the gate of the house. It is super tight and could damage your car. I have to admit that the super nice owners recommended not to attempt and I made the mistake of challenging it :) the second time, didn't end up well... Otherwise, we would recommend bringing shampoo and body soap with you before checking in... Overall the people were super friendly, responsive and helpful. The view and the garden is just as beautiful and better than the pictures.

We had the most wonderful stay at Olga’s place. We had 6 adults and two children and there was still plenty of space. The house was beautifully appointed and the outdoor space with the view was the perfect place to relax.

We stayed at La Macina Farmhouse for ten nights in October 2024. The photos do not not truly capture how special this 16th century villa is, it is magical. There were days we did not leave the villa as it had everything we could want or need and was such a nice retreat from the cities we visited in the surrounding region. It is perfectly located in the hills above Lucca, day trips to Firenze, Sienna, Pisa, Carrara, Forte di Marmi and Parma are easy to drive to for daily adventures. The restaurants in the surrounding hills were incredible with great menus at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this property and Lucca Apartments & Villas for their exceptional service.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Lucca! The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside that made every morning feel like a dream. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, striking the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive—they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and offered great tips for local spots to explore. It was clear they truly cared about creating a memorable experience for their guests. Most of all, the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace or simply soaking in the scenery, it was exactly the getaway we were hoping for. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Juri's beautiful villa in Tuscany! The place is super spacious, easily accommodating our group of 11, and it was spotless and very well maintained. Juri and his mom were incredible hosts—always responsive and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The location is also perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. Grazie mille Mateo! This apartment is perfetta. Sitting atop the hill- secluded from the street below with views of the bay- this place is one of the best in town! Close enough to walk to town but far enough from the crowds. Mateo’s place is also great to stay put and enjoy the views from the terrace & garden as well. Thank you for sharing with us!
