Barn holiday rentals in Richmondshire District

Such a lovely place, had a nice girly weekend for my hen do with my bridesmaids and maid of honour and the hosts were really sweet. They were happy to co-ordinate with my maid of honour so the whole thing was a really nice surprise and it was overall really private and peaceful with such stunning views. Would highly recommend and think we will definitely be booking again 🤍

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crabtree Barn! The place was super clean, safe and had one of the loveliest views we’ve seen. The facilities including the summer house and private garden was perfect for the weather we had over the weekend. Wayne was quick to respond to any messages we sent and left helpful guide with different things to do, places to go and directions for nice walking trails. We were also celebrating a birthday and the hosts were nice enough to leave a cake (which was helpful as we had forgotten to buy one!) We will absolutely be returning and would like to wholeheartedly thank Wayne and Rachel for making our whole experience one to remember.

A lovely, peaceful, secluded cottage. We really enjoyed our stay, we wanted a quiet get away and that is exactly what we got. We enjoyed visiting Brimham rocks and had a walk around Ripon, plenty of places to visit that were only a short drive away. Could not recommend this place enough.

A truly beautiful location and a lovely cottage. We had a great week and wished we could have stayed longer. Jane was on hand with lots of local information and made us feel very much at home.

Wonderful place, as Bev says - the place gives you a warm hug. Relaxing, quiet, and perfect rest for us and our anxious rescue dog! Lovely being near the river, lots of birds and wildlife nearby. Felt right at home and hope to return again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! Really enjoyed the peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The stables are great for time away from it all. Very well looked after. Great to have have the outdoor space too.

Whether we are there as a couple, or it is one man and his whippet :-) , Nicola's place always delivers. The dog friendly garden is a dream, walks close by and a simply beautiful part of the world. Nicola is always friendly and a great host. We are regulars and hope to continue to be! Thanks for another great stay. I had to pick Pinter (whippet) up to put him in the car as he didn't want to leave!

Barry was great host and nothing was too much to ask. Made booking very simple and replied promptly to all questions asked. Very accommodating. The Piggery was exactly as described and made for a fantastic peaceful break.

Everything in this apartment is good quality. From the kitchen equipment to the linen, mattress, pillows, water pressure, coffee, literally every thing. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The later than usual check out was so helpful and the welcome basket was an incredible touch. There was even a little dog blanket which our mini dachshund immediately took a liking too. We cannot fault this apartment and can highly recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the manor farm cottage. What made our stay even more enjoyable was how prepared and informative they were in the guest guide book. We found this extremely helpful when trying to book taxis. Note to anyone planning a visit who is planning to use public transport to call malton taxis in good time instead of ‘Uber’ we were let down a few times by ‘Uber’ and it’s just that little too far out for many cars to be about. We went to malton ‘pizza on the square’ for tea one night which I would highly recommend and the ‘Rydale vineyard’ for a wine tasting experience which was fantastic and only a 7min taxi journey away. Perfect location great cottage and the amount of supplies that were provided too was another lovely touch. We diddnt have to worry about bringing tin foil and cling film, dishwasher tablets etc just small items which made the stay that extra bit more enjoyable. We managed t figure out how the appliances worked easily nd enjoyed a meal in aswel

Loved staying at this property, very inviting and homely. Beds are also really comfortable too. Surroundings are beautiful

We spent two lovely nights in the butterfly cottage. Bruce and Anita were gracious and helpful hosts, providing information and suggestions about what to do and where to go. Walks from the cottage were abundant when weather permitted. Treats left by Anita were appreciated and devoured! Cottage was clean, warm, comfortable and cozy. We will come back if we are traveling in the area again. Highly recommend butterfly cottage.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage: everything was clean, comfortable and good quality. It’s in a super peaceful location, just birdsong and the occasional baa of the sheep neighbours! It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, just 30 mins from the coast and there are lots of beautiful villages on the moor. Highly recommended by us!

Beautiful secluded location and a great hub for the Northern Lake District. Lovely accommodation and great wood burner.

This accomodation is in a great location so peaceful with amazing views. It is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Lots of goodies left by the host for us to enjoy which were much appreciated. Although next to the hosts property while she was available If needed she respected our privacy and we enjoyed sitting on the private patio at the back looking at the stunning view. We would certainly recommend this Airbnb.

Hi Cath Thank you for a lovely stay in your gorgeous barn. It was perfect for our needs and we had a really lovely time at Bramham. Our horse did well cross country - clear over a big course, but he had 3 show jumps down - not his forte!! I hope your grand-daughter got to see him. We really enjoyed our stay at Richard's . The property has been finished to a very high standard and was extremely comfortable. Lovely village down the road with pubs ,shops and cafes. We used it as a base for walking Hadrians wall as well as cycling and visits to nearby places.

We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi
