Holiday rentals with lake access in Reykjavíkurborg

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Islande grâce au camping car. Ce n'était pas celui de l'annonce car il était en réparation. Celui qu'on a eu nous correspondait plus par le nombre de lit. David est un hôte chaleureux et disponible. Je reviendrai vers lui sans hésiter pour un nouveau séjour

Hilmar’s home was the perfect place for my family to enjoy 6 days in Iceland. The home was exactly as pictured and allowed us to have plenty of space to enjoy together time or time apart after a long day of togetherness. The home was very clean, instructions were clear and Hilmar was always very responsive. I would highly recommend this home and plan to share with friends as they look to travel to Iceland.

Une maison très lumineuse, très agréable, avec une très belle vue sur le lac et les montagne en fond. Pour les amateurs de café, la machine à café d'Egill est juste incroyable 😀. Nous n'avons pas su régler la temperature intérieure, et comme le soleil a brillé pendant tout le séjour, nous avons eu chaud mais c'est un détail !!!

Sara’s place felt at home. We were comfortable. With 5 of us, 2 living spaces really helped. We are able to have our own spaces within the house. A relatively new home, fast internet and while it’s was super freezing out there, we were snug as a bug! Would happily return. Great communication too. 👍🏼

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It was great home base for our day trips. The Airbnb had everything we needed as well. Olafur was very helpful and responsive. There were also more toys here for the kids than we’ve had at any other Airbnb which was perfect for keeping the kids busy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for families and convenient location for Reykjavik and the airport. Would highly recommend. Pros Quiet neighbourhood. Responsive host. Honoured the booking even though there was some sort of mix-up. Super helpful and the additional information during bad weather was really appreciated. Clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Great for families with young children. Improve Netflix on the main tv would be useful.

Wir waren zu fünft in der Unterkunft und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist toll und sehr stylisch. Wir haben super geschlafen. Kleine Probleme wurden sofort behoben, die Kommunikation war top. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über Besuche von Kater Felix. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Der Supermarkt ist um die Ecke, die Stadt in 15 Minuten zu erreichen und die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung alle gut erreichbar. Wir waren in einem von Valdimars Restaurants essen und sehr zufrieden. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Incredible place, great communication from Erla prior to stay- great local tips etc seemed very honest and genuinely helpful. Beautiful home- it’s a wonderful relaxing and welcoming home they look after really well. Beds were super comfy, 2 single duvets on each bed which was helpful as we were sharing. The hot tub was awesome, great provisions in the showers and kindly left chocolates and tea out for us plus a big thermos (which was lovely in minus 16!!) Great oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer- all very high quality. Would definitely stay again, given the opportunity. .

Excellent séjour, le logement était propre et correspondait à la description. Les commodités autour du logement sont aussi un plus. Un supermarché est accessible à pied et se situe à 200 m. Une ligne de bus donnant accès au centre de ville de Reykjavik en 15 mn avec un passage des bus tous 15-20 mn. Les taxis sont disponibles également jusqu'à très tard la nuit a un tres bon prix. Communication facile avec Annel, tout a été simple pour un bon séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Helga was extremely responsive and the information she shared was incredibly helpful! She made sure everything was set for our 11 month old and provided great recommendations. One of our group had a later flight and she was super flexible with a later flexible time. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great apartment with lots of space for kids to play, we enjoyed the stay

L’appartamento era al piano terra. Tutto l’arredo molto funzionale sia in cucina (il set era completo) sia in bagno (presenza di lavatrice e asciugatrice). In 15-20 min si può arrivare nel centro di Reykjavik. Ma soprattutto il supporto efficace e sempre presente di Sabine. Ritengo che questo sia il vero vantaggio competitivo in grado di dare sicurezza alla presenza e alla soluzione abitativa. Complimenti Sabine!

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

Fantastisk opphold, og leiligheten var enda finere enn på bildene. Lett å komme seg til fra flyplassen, lett å komme seg til Reykjavik, lett å komme seg rundt til andre nydelige steder. Superhyggelig vert som alltid svarte raskt ☺️ Ingenting å klage på, så dette anbefales!

Spędziliśmy tydzień w apartamencie wynajmowanym przez Dagnę i był to wspaniały czas. Apartament jest świetnie zlokalizowany na wzgórzu z panoramicznym widokiem na miasto aż po ocean. Któregoś wieczora za oknem pojawiła się zorza polarna. Raczej dla osób dysponujących samochodem. Mieszkanie jest wygodne, można poczuć się jak u siebie w domu. Są wszystkie potrzebne udogodnienia. Dagny jest bardzo komunikatywnym gospodarzem. Szybko odpowiada na wiadomości i jest pomocna.

The host is very friendly and helpful, even though we booked the place at the last minute. He had the place ready for us within a few hours. The location is convenient, about 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik, with free parking available in either an outdoor lot or an indoor garage. It is also very close to a Bonus, a grocery store chain popular with locals. The apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with many luxury amenities. This is definitely a home away from home that we would love to return to. Thank you, Jon!

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

This is the perfect location if you want to feel remote and close to nature but conveniently close to the city and main roads. The house is bright and open with great views from the main living area (watching the sunsets through those big windows is a real treat). Arngunner's instructions made finding the property and getting settled in very easy.

The scenery was amazing. It was wonderful to hang out on the porch, though admittedly a bit chilly in early October. The cabin was very cute, well laid out, clean, and with many small touches that made it wonderful. Only downside was that the hot water does have a strong sulfur smell and the kitchen sink is shallow resulting in water often spraying out of the sink due to the high water pressure. Aside from those two minor issues that place was perfect solitude. One other item to mention is that the nearby waterfall trail was very worthwhile. You park in the nearby small neighborhood and walk up an ATV trail. It was amazing to be the only people around the waterfall and to be able to hike further up the mountains.

Hans and Elsa were really good hosts and provided all the information we could have needed, answering questions and providing information speedily and accurately. The accommodation was perfect for my wife, daughter and me, and was in a wonderful peaceful setting about 15 minutes from Reykjavik. Everything that was needed was available, with the exception of WiFi, but Hans did explain beforehand that they were trying to set this up but it was currently a 'Bit of and experiment' - but we did have good data coverage in the area through our own mobile providers. The television in the accommodation didn't work either and no programmes were available, but that was relief, as we did spend long days you exploring all the south and western areas of Iceland. We would certainly use this accommodation again if coming back to Iceland and wanting to stay in the same area, and would happily recommend it to other who want a quite base from which to explore this part of Iceland.

We loved our 2-night stay here and didn't want to leave! The place had everything we needed and we were so pleased with the location, the amenities, the gorgeous view, and the coziness of the space. The shower is small, but I wouldn't hesitate a second to stay here again.

Guten Tag zusammen, Die Unterkunft war für uns ein perfekter erster Stopp für unsere Reise durch Island. Man hat sich direkt heimig gefühlt und die Preis-Leistung ist fair. Die Lage ist ruhig und gut zu erreichen. Kleine Vorschläge zur Verbesserung hätten wir noch. -Das Licht hat teilweise geflackert -Es lagen Haare auf den Betten -Der Hot-Tub war nicht sauber -In der Küche gab es kein Backpapier für den Ofen. Das sind alles Kleinigkeiten, ansonsten war die Unterkunft für uns perfekt!

Friendly hostess, well equipped home, quiet place, fell like home. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a family of four in April - the cottage was perfect for a group that size. The space felt bigger than it looks in the pictures, it was cosy and warm, the hot tub was perfect and very simple to use. On very wet days we could get all our clothes and shoes dry overnight in the heated laundry room. You can't see any neighbours from the house, it's very private, even when the trees are bare. I loved the low-waste trust-based system, cupboards were open with kids' games and packs of cards, and loads of really useful cooking essentials left by others (all sorts of herbs and spices, flour and sugar, jams, coffee pods, even some breakfast cereal) plus baking paper, bin liners, candles, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets.
