Holiday rentals with beach access in Reykjavíkurborg

Annel was a great host & his home was absolutely beautiful! We were so grateful to find a place with such a beautiful view. Annel was also very helpful and allowed us to have a flexible check in.

Garðar’s apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had many amenities...everything we needed and more. I especially appreciate the use of the washer/dryer and dishwasher. It was very close to a bus stop that took us to downtown Reykjavik. The check in/out instructions were very clear. Note: the water in the bathroom has a strong sulfur smell and the parking spot in the driveway is a little tight. I would stay at Garðar’s apartment again and recommend to friends.

The apartment was on the ground floor. All the furniture is very functional both in the kitchen (the set was complete) and in the bathroom (presence of a washing machine and dryer). You can get to the center of Reykjavik in 15-20 minutes. But above all, the effective and ever-present support of Sabine. I believe that this is the real competitive advantage that can provide security to the presence and the housing solution. Congratulations, Sabine!

We spent a week in the apartment rented by Dagna and it was a great time. The apartment is perfectly located on a hill with panoramic views of the city up to the ocean. There was a northern light outside the window one evening. Rather, it's for people with a car. The apartment is comfortable, you can feel at home. There are all the amenities you need. Dagny is a very communicative host. They respond quickly to messages and are helpful.

The AIRBB was very nice. The bedding and beds were very comfortable, great black out lighting. The location was convenient to downtown and the local coffee shop was a great option for a quick breakfast. The property was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was good communication between us and our host.

We had a wonderful time. Our children loved how comfortable they felt. We loved how close the public pool, bakery, yummy restaurants and ice cream shops were. Overall will return back to Iceland and would love to book again with Edda.

We loved staying here! Very comfortable and cozy spot in a great location for shopping, dinner out, etc. But also extremely quiet with the windows closed. We had been traveling for a week, and so made use of the washer/dryer as well.

We had a nice stay here in Reykjavík. Very straightforward check-in with clean and comfortable accommodations.

Can’t say enough about how easy and responsive David was. His motorhome was perfect for our trip and he was able to answer questions within minutes. We would not hesitate to rent from him again.

Had an amazing time staying Pétur’s place. Plenty of space for my group of 6 adults. Location was great, right by a domestic airport that didnt seem to be used much because I never heard a plane take off or land. Location is great, within 5-7 mins driving to the downtown area. You definitely need a car but Id say that for all of Reykjavic in general. Plenty of parking, we had 2 cars. The bathroom upstairs has heated floors, which was great during the winter. For NYE it was perfect because we could see fireworks from all of the town and we got really lucky and saw the Northern Lights very clearly from his place, probably not common, but it was amazing! Magical trip, will def stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Lovely house in a great location. Parking space available right in front of the house and getting in and out was very easy. Great communication from the owner. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen so you have everything you need to stay as a big family. Fantastic views of Reykjavik while sitting in the Hot Pot... We were extremely comfortable and had a wonderful stay.

Had excellent 9 night stay. Beautiful home with a wonderful view and all the modern high end conveniences. Very nice neighborhood. The backyard has soccer nets abutting a bike/ walking path. 2 minute walk from a playground. Our 3 year old LOVED it. Sigga went above and beyond with a high chair and baby cot for us. The home has a modern and minimalist feel. Reminded me of the Amy Adams’s home in the film Arrival. Really beautiful. You can’t go wrong.

Siggi's beautiful home was perfect for our family, a group of 7 ranging in age from 2 to 70. The house was spacious and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The location is ideal - just a short walk from a walking path with stunning coastal views and a 5-10 min drive from all of the attractions and amenities of Reykjavik. Siggi went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and provided a crib and high chair for our 2 year old son. His communication was warm and proactive. Without hesitation, I would recommend at stay at Siggi's house!

Stop! Look no further if you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Reykjavik. This penthouse is spacious, beautifully decorated, very well equipped for whatever you may need, and sparkling clean. The hosts were fantastic— they communicated with us clearly and honestly and provided everything they said they would. We recommend them as highly as possible and would definitely return here on our next Icelandic adventure.

I loved living in this house. I spent two weeks on a work trip there and it was perfect for that occasion. The ocean is litterally two minutes away, the garden outside the windows is lush and available, and the location is just great. Very charming house with a warm atmosphere. Helgi and his dog were amazing hosts, very helpful and generous, which made the experience just amazing.

This was a great value for us. Really a nice size with plenty of room for the four of us. I had some questions while there and they were answered very quickly. We also got some great recommendations before our arrival from Amos, very friendly and helpful. The free parking was a plus but we did find that if you arrive later in the day/evening, you will likely have problems finding anything close. Would still definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place near town.

Harbor Apartment was a great place to stay! Walking distance to all the prime sights made it convenient, as well as the many restaurants. So convenient!! Host(s) were so responsive, as well as the information shared about the area, the apartment and the restaurant suggestions made our visit perfect! We definitely will return one day!

We had a great stay at Unnur's apartment. It was a perfect base for our adventures around Reykjavik. The location was very close to downtown (10min drive), walking distance to the Sky Lagoon (highly recommended) and having free parking was a lovely amenity. The apartment itself was lovely - bright, clean and well appointed - and the host, Unnur was excellent - very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice quiet location just outside of the city centre.
