Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Reykjavíkurborg

Natalia is very warm and helpful. She always gave quick and clear response and instructions and also gave suggestions for me to get the flybus to the airport with pickup service, which is very helpful for a solo traveler. The place is nice and has an ocean view, not very close to downtown but in walkable distance. I wish I could have lived there a bit longer. Thank you again, Natalia!

Ylfa’s huis is echt een parel. Mooi van binnen en van buiten. Het is knus, ligt op loopafstand van het centrum en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Je hebt echt het gevoel dat je even in Reykjavik woont in plaats van dat je toerist bent. Wij komen zeker terug.

One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Amazing space, convenient location, and great views. The best part was the hospitality from both hosts, my girlfriend and I felt incredibly welcomed. Would recommend this place over to anybody visiting Iceland. Also, Tyson and Noah are best dogs! Loved playing with them in the gym.

Asa made us feel at home before we even arrived, with excellent communication, great tips and recommendations, and easy to follow instructions once we arrived. Her home is lovely and extremely comfortable. You are close to downtown, shopping, and the largest pool/fitness center in the area. Parking was easy and convenient, the accommodations were just as described, and we had full access to the kitchen, which was well stocked. Asa was warm, welcoming, and so helpful. Lotta was an added treat! We couldn't have asked for better hostesses. They made our trip memorable and eased so many concerns about being in and traveling around a foreign country. I would absolutely book again for my next trip to Iceland (and plan to) and would recommend Asa's place to my friends for their travel.

Host lives here so their belongs are there but it's clean and organized for our stay. A one way road pretty private and quiet at night. We had a 9 seater big van and we can park it outside. Good value and good location. There's a mall nearby and really close to Reykjavik city.

Cute apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood about 3 kilometers from the touristy part of Reykjavik. Clean, quiet, very homey and comfortable. Reynir was super responsive. Great place to end our vacation.

C'est très bien comme condo, mais en réalité, il s'agit d'une chambre dans un condo avec deux personnes qui y vivent. Bien situé et bien fourni, près du centre-ville de Reykjavik. Avoir été seuls, nous aurions été ravis de ce beau condo. Autre point, les planchers craquent et quiconque se lève au milieu de la nuit risque de réveiller les autres. Si demeurer chez quelqu'un ne vous fait pas peur, c'est idéal pour visiter Reykjavik.

Ravis d'avoir choisi la maison de Birgir pour notre séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Birgir est toujours prêt à donner des infos sur son pays ainsi que des conseils. Nous reviendrons sans hésitations et recommandons.

Had an amazing time staying Pétur’s place. Plenty of space for my group of 6 adults. Location was great, right by a domestic airport that didnt seem to be used much because I never heard a plane take off or land. Location is great, within 5-7 mins driving to the downtown area. You definitely need a car but Id say that for all of Reykjavic in general. Plenty of parking, we had 2 cars. The bathroom upstairs has heated floors, which was great during the winter. For NYE it was perfect because we could see fireworks from all of the town and we got really lucky and saw the Northern Lights very clearly from his place, probably not common, but it was amazing! Magical trip, will def stay there again.

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! Birgir was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was our Iceland story time with Birgir—his captivating stories gave us a deeper appreciation for the country and its culture. His passion for the environment was truly inspiring, motivating me to become more proactive about global warming and environmental responsibility. Birgir also recommended trying an Icelandic swimming pool, and we absolutely loved it! This was a truly memorable stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We had 10 days in Iceland. We planned many day trips for different sights. But we wanted to be close to but not IN Reykjavik. This location was perfect. The house was great! Beautiful sun/living room, nice kitchen and was a nice quiet location.

This AirBnB was perfect for our family of 6! We all had our own bedrooms (2 couples, 2 singles) and enough common area to spread out, if we wanted. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and Inga even left a welcome basket of snacks and breakfast items! The place also has a washer & dryer, which we used after swimming, twice! The heated floors were a God-send during the December cold. We had an electrical issue and they promptly got an electrician out to fix it. Worked perfectly after that! The location is at the end of a street in a quiet neighborhood. There is a walking trail close by but we never used it because we visited in December and it was too cold for us. Other amenities are available at the house, like a hot tub and outdoor living area, but we did not use those because of the cold weather. They look like a wonderful addition for a warmer-weather visit. I highly recommend this location and the wonderful hosts!!

La casa nos hizo sentir como si estuviésemos en nuestro hogar. Además Viktoria estuvo atenta a todo lo que nos pudo hacer más impresionante la estancia en Islandia. La recomiendo 100% y espero poder volver y disfrutar de la estancia en el alojamiento de Viktoria.
