Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Rekawa Lagoon

Our stay at Hela Studio was lovely. We booked last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Hiriketiya. Marta was a great host and was very helpful with local recommendations and check in process. Marta also helped to arrange a realisable car transfer which was a great price.

We spent a whole month in this house and were delighted! Spacious, cozy, with a lovely chill area by the river where you can relax and enjoy nature. I especially liked the rooftop – the perfect place to do yoga. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it was convenient to cook. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable, slept great. The beach is only a 5-7 minute walk and the surf spot in Weligama is about 25 minutes away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to the hosts for their hospitality!

This is a lovely AirBnB, located close to the beach and nearby restaurants. The property is beautifully decorated and was nice and clean on arrival. Beds are comfortable with AC in one bedroom and fans in the other. One thing to note is that the neighbours have 2 dogs who can bark quite a lot when walking up to the house - not the fault of the property just worth being aware so they don’t come as a surprise! Rebecca is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We loved our stay! The garden and pool were terrific, the staff was very nice and the Place was super clean!

We loved staying at Shaun’s villa! Out of the eight places we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this was our favorite. The location, the villa, and being so close to the ocean was just what we needed. The villa was clean, well looked after, and felt really welcoming. Whenever we had a question, we got a quick and helpful reply, which made everything super easy. We also really liked the great food just across the street, which we could easily order to the villa. And being close to The Doctor’s House was a big plus – fun weekend market and tasty dinners in the evenings. We’re a family of four and felt super comfortable here. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day!

We had a great stay at Dor’s beautiful home. It’s perfectly located, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants or a short Tuk Tuk ride to some of the further restaurants. The bathrooms are beautiful, shower head nice and strong. Air conditioning does the trick and the beds are comfortable. There is a nursery with a cot and change table so perfect for us with a 10 month old. Highly recommend you book this space!

This was our favorite place we stayed in Sri Lanka during our trip! Beautiful, welcoming, clean and comfortable home with attentive staff. Super close to the beach. Just on the other side of the street. They also let us check in early which was helpful to have a place to store our luggage.

Lovely large house surrounded by trees. We had monkeys, a peacock, kitten and fireflies to watch. The house is up quite a narrow road and our driver got lost at first but I phoned Ajith the caretaker and he gave perfect directions. He was also at the end of the phone if we needed anything. It's about a 15 minute walk to the beach and many restaurants. Manuo was great at communication too.

Very clean and spacious. The proximity to the beach is great. It's not like most Airbnbs, but is actually a suite in a hotel which means your room is cleaned everyday which was great. Staff are kind and helpful. If you don't have your own transport then the location is a bit far from main town centre, but it is a short tuktuk ride away and easy to arrange.

5 min from the beach and up in the jungle, it’s the best place to stay if your looking for the calm. Breakfast and Yoga sessions were great. The staff very kind. I recommend 100%.

Absolutely magical 3 weeks at Sudu Villa with our 5-month old son. Before check-in, Matt’s communication was excellent and was also reached out to by Charu, the Villa Manager, who both were happy to answer any questions we had. Check-in was smooth and we had the best time at Sudu Villa. Location is absolutely perfect, with easy walks to Pehebiya Beach and Hirikitiya. Charu was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay and couldn’t do enough for us, whether that’s organising surf lessons, tuktuks or airport transfers. Villa was immaculate with regular pool cleaning, we felt immediately relaxed from Day One. Will definitely be returning, a memorable few weeks.

place was immaculate. Brand new and very spacious. Having a large balcony and open air kitchen and bathroom was such a treat! The location was perfect as it was just far enough away from the hussle of Hiriketiya and in a residential neighborhood where it allowed for a good night's sleep. Wifi was spotty but lots of places to work in town so wasn't much of an issue. The host was kind and very accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again.

Ruwan is a very dear person who goes out of her way to make sure you don't miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (there was the same thing every day). Ruwan organized transportation to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was also very nice. We took a trip to the turtles and Galle along with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was like a tourist guide who also gives us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret having spent 4 nights at Ruwan's and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

We have stayed in around 180 Airbnbs and this is stand out one of the best! THE most fully equipped property we have ever come across, with all sorts of unexpected items such as mosquito repellent coils, filtered water, cooking oils and first aid kit! Eva and her manager, Tharush were amazingly friendly and accommodating. 5 star service and facilties to match! Can't recommend this place enough.

What a find! Sisiras pkVe is a walk down the driveway and onto the south end entrance to Kudawella beach. Awesome balcony...breezes and a Seaview.. absolutely will be listening to the waves as you sleep at night. Sisira and his wife are wonderful hearts, have an amazing young family in the downstairs part if the house, and Harshanis authentic so tasty, plentiful Sri Lankan cuisine is made and delivered to your rooms with love. A quiet location atop one of the best sand bottom beaches in South Lanka. Good for learn to surf swimming and long peaceful walks Sisi Place is 5 mins scooter to Hiri or Dikwella, 20 mins to Unakuruwa and Talalla. With the 2 bedrooms upstairs sparking clean bathroom and massive balcony, this place would suit long stay to also enjoy Harshanis meals, or small groups and families. I can't say enough about Sri Lankan hospitality and you'll find it exceptional here. Sisi Place is a well underpriced gem. Highly recommended 👌

Very nice place to lie comfortably on the beach and relax. The surf school next door is also highly recommended. Here you can combine relaxation and action. The place was clean, the breakfast (buffet) delicious and the team on site very kind and helpful. Highly recommend😊

We stayed at Sanjayas place for four nights. The family was super kind and helped us with local advice such as restaurants and must-sees close by. They arranged transport to the house and again when we left. Their hospitality was warm and made us feel welcome. We would definitly recommend this place to others.

I highly recommend Sanjayas place, it is in a quiet and beautiful area with its own private entrance, walking distance to the local restaurants and beaches. The room was perfect with a great terrace, Sanjaya and his family are wonderful. I hope to be back again.

Great apartment, had all the basic necessities! The host and family were so incredibly helpful! Gave us a number for a great tuck tuck driver, warned us about the rambunctious monkeys that like to stop by, tried to keep us up to date on the power outages and more. It’s a lovely little jungle villa, with that being said, jungle = lots of bugs, there’s no way around it. Just don’t leave any open food out and that will help lessen the bug situation. Also, mirissa beach (great spot for restaurants and beach days) is a bit too far to walk, so I’d recommend getting a scooter or a bike and the host has a person for that too!! All around, would stay again if we come back to Sri Lanka! Host and family were so so so helpful and friendly!

Gayashan and Roshani made this stay unforgettable and the best one during our time in Sri Lanka! They were always available to answer any questions, organized the best Safari into Udawalawe through a friend, did a cooking lesson with us, helped with getting taxis and so much more. Both were so welcoming and it happened often that we talked for half an hour during breakfast about Sri Lanka, nature, politics and food with them. The place is lovely and exactly like the photos! It is in a quiet area with no cars (only peacocks and monkeys haha) and it takes 10 minutes by foot to Hiriketiya beach. The breakfast they serve is authentic Sri Lankan, changes a bit from day to day to keep it exciting and most importantly is DAMN DELICIOUS! And, this shouldn’t be forgotten, both Gayashan and Roshani are absolutely kind and great people and we felt like guests in their home and not just people sleeping next door. Will come again!

Most beautiful villa with everything you need! Walking distance to main beach and restaurants. So much to explore in both directions near the villa. Would highly recommend!
