We stayed at the house for weekend of birthday celebrations, the house was great and the garden, pool and surroundings were fabulous. The kitchen area was perfect for gatherings and loads of space to unpack. The beds were really comfortable, maybe an option to have a couple of additional twin beds as the majority were all double. The house was spotless and with the weather being perfect we couldn’t have asked for more. Anne was accommodating in all requests and information about the local area. I would highly recommend this property, we had a fabulous weekend.

We spent Christmas at Salix House and we were 11 pax in the party. Charlotte is an amazing hostess and her property is absolutely fabulous! The house is very well equipped and there’s so much to do: ping pong table, football, books and bars games. We had a fantastic time there and we would love to book to go in the summer! My husband and I are going other places in England and Europe, but I’m afraid this one will be hard to beat! It was just that lovely. This cozy guest cottage was just what we were looking for, and Georgina and Alex were the most welcoming and helpful hosts. They made sure we had everything we could’ve needed and went above and beyond what would be expected of them! They picked up that we were foreigners using the public transportation system and were so helpful (to say the least) to help us navigate that. We just loved every aspect of the stay! It’s the perfect small-town getaway or stop on your way into the “big cities” (London/Oxford). Will be back for sure!

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

booked with miranda for a couple of nights and she couldn't have been a better host.. very helpful and responded to right awa to any queries I had.. the house and garden were both beautiful and the whole stay was very enjoyable.. would definaltet recommend 👌.

We stayed in a newly refurbished home that was immaculate. We were there whilst having renovations done on our own home not far away so already know the area very well. It was a home away from home and we had everything we needed.

What a wonderful place to stay! We had a great weekend at stable cottage, location exactly as described, beautiful setting and really comfy beds! The amenities in the place were great and we really enjoyed the log fire in the evenings. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing break in this property, a truly beautiful house with lots of design inspirations we will be taking home. Kristie was a very friendly and approachable host and clearly has an eye for detail as the pool house was a beautiful property which was a real home form home. The location was lovely too, lots to do in the area and the atmosphere of this part of the Thames we really enjoyed including hiring a boat for the afternoon for a leisurely self drive cruise up the River...the perfect day out!

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. A well appointed house with everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. Chantal was very responsive with questions and a great host with recommendations for a walk and pub visit. Great location in beautiful countryside.

Absolutely loved our stay here, the views are stunning, the master bedroom was very comfortable and the hot tub was brilliant! The lodge had everything we needed and Gogos restaurant is phenomenal right on the doorstep 🙂 just ensure you mention the lodge no so your discount comes off the bill because we didn’t, and booking is essential at weekends for breakfast or dinner, it gets very busy.

Had a lovely weekend with friends at the cottage, which was spacious, spotless and has everything we needed. Francesca was super responsive to questions both in the lead up to our stay and while we were there, and we’d recommend the cottage to families or groups of friends who are looking for a quiet few days away in a convenient and beautiful locations. Even the rain didn’t stop plans!

Beautiful property, we felt right at home immediately. Really gorgeous house, so peaceful and in safe surroundings. Absolutely nothing not to love - would definitely book here again. Comfy beds, plenty of fresh towels, cosy lounge, nice big terrace table, just all gorgeous to be honest!!

Lovey spacious house with parking and a nice big garden. Matthew and Nino had great communication with us during or stay making sure we where happy with everything.

Kate’s Place is beyond description. Perfect in every way. The converted barn has every modern convenience. Comfortable, lots of room, very stylish, quiet and secluded. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows which is always very important we loved it. Easy access to the west, London or the further south. We made several day trips. Kate is an amazing host and made our stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

Sian was a fabulous host, the cottage was beautiful and my kids loved it. It was cosy, beautiful views, lovely English countryside and Sian helped a very jet lagged family from Australia get settled in. We would definitely visit here again.

Peter's place fitted what my daughter and I needed for a brief stay and I think the price is reasonable and reflects the fact that its a bit tired. It was very clean apart from the shower which, as others have reported, is pretty limescaley and there are some mould issues as there isn't a fan. It didn't bother us as we were only there for 1 night. The bed is very soft, almost like a water bed! The area is very quiet and we felt safe which is a blessing. Peter is really personable and gave me a slightly later checkout which really helped me out.

We (a 3 generation special get together) have enjoyed 3 perfect nights and 4 days at Debs place. The house is beautifully presented with everything we could possibly need thoughtfully provided. We were lucky to enjoy lovely weather in delightful Goring on Thames and used Debs recommendations to eat well at good local restaurants. Thank you Debs. We are all very happy.

We only had a one night stay at Nick’s place but found it very comfortable and it had everything we needed. Beautiful garden and surroundings and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Was such a beautiful home for a lovely weekend with my girls very clean and comfy and the little touches was adorable especially the welcome treat and the flip flops for hut tub. Easy to communicate with and just a lovely and cosy home. Would highly recommend this place 👌
