Amazing and spacious place with a lovely glass terrace overlooking the lake. The host was really friendly and helpful. Easy to reach, overall, I highly recommend it.

An absolutely stunning place in beautiful surroundings. The host Matti was very helpful and communicate, there is tons of space, very good amenities (especially considering the place is on an island in the Baltic!), the fishing in the area is great, the small bay is peaceful and pretty, the saunas and hot tubs are good, there are interesting historical things to see in Dalsbruk and Västanfjärd. Highly recommend for an extended family or a group of friends.

We had an absolutely terrific stay. Beautiful location, and the place was split very nicely into different areas. Great to visit as a family or with friends. The highlight was definitely the wood sauna with a view to the sea, and being able to jump in the water after the sauna!

Hi! We had a great stay at villa! Antti was super friendly and good host. We thought that the beach would be more closer to the villa, so that was the only thing that we did not know before booking!

We had a fantastic and wonderfully relaxing time on this beautiful little private island. The island and the surrounding area are marvellous, beautifully quiet and the opportunity to explore the area by motorboat was a special experience for us. The hosts were also very friendly and very accommodating. Many thanks again and we would love to come back!

Nice, big and cozy place! Perfect accommodation when we spent a weekend in Ekenäs. Everything you need is available, from kitchen utensils to bicycles. Can really recommend!

Well-equipped and clean apartment, in a nice location. Several shops and a beach are within a short walking distance, and a parking space can also be found. Sami always responded quickly. Really good value for money. I recommend.

Cozy traditional house/cottage in a quiet location. In the yard, a good setting for barbecue and enjoyment. The sauna was also very good and the beach is nearby; the dock would be a great addition for swimming. There's a public beach nearby, though. Everything went very well with the owners.

We had a great experience in Kalle's cottage, where lovely horses and sheep live nearby, with beautiful views and near Fiskars town. The cottage has a great terrasi where you can enjoy the view of the forest and lake. Kalle's whole famly is so friendly and helpfully, we got chance to taste fresh eggs from the free-walking hens on the farm as well. And plus, we saw reindeer there twice.

Everything went smoothly and smoothly, the apartment was beautiful and very clean. A convenient distance from the city center, far enough away from things like traffic noise. Nothing to complain about👌🏼

Nina's property and check in/out was well thought out and organized.The apartment was well equipped with ironing, washing machine and drying racks, things we needed for a an 18 day stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one might need, and then some. The neighborhood/neighbors were very quiet, the balcony looked over a peaceful courtyard with flowers. Nina provided excellent communication and responded promptly to our questions. The location is excellent for walking to the shops, restaurants, the grocery store and train station, the parks and waterfront. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Ekenas.

The flat was warm and cosy, although it was - 20 C outside. The view over the ocean was spectacular. Electricity for winter car heating would have been useful!

House is decorated very pretty - feels like you step into a page of a magazine. House as a whole has an interesting design - it's circular, so you literally can have a feeling of "walking in circles" until you get used to it, it's nice though, almost fairy-tale like. There's plenty to read, lots of magazines and books around. The kitchen is well stacked with essentials like frying pans and such. There are pretty glass ware and teacups to enjoy tea from, basically all you need to eat in comfortably. The upstairs bedroom is pretty and spacious. Bed is comfortable and large. The bathtub and sink in the upstairs bedroom is in the bedroom area itself, pretty design. Toilet upstairs has its own section, right next to bedroom, important to notice though - there is no door between toilet area and bedroom itself. There's very good ventilation so bedroom does not retain any unpleasant scents, if you know what I mean, so it is still very convenient. The toilet section is prettily designed just like the bedroom and spacious. There's a sauna (via door from the toilet area), so if you are into that talk to Timo ahead to have it set up for you. Upstairs bedroom also has a small balcony with some pretty wines all over it, large main window. The view over the lake is spectacular, breathtaking trully. To note - you can't go down (at least to my knowledge), as the house is on a steep mountain. The downstairs 2 bedrooms are very simple, small rooms with sliding beds. The beds are comfortable, however when the second one slide out then there's only a small area to walk. It's no problem though, as they're just used for sleep. The tv section is tricky - it has a very comfy reclining chaise, but not much room for other people, so ideally there's just room for 1 person to watch tv, unless you bring in chairs from the dining area of living room. Dining area has a wonderful, huge table, very convenient, comfortable chairs and close to kitchen section. Downstairs shower room - has 2 shower heads next to each other (no partition in the middle), and then there's another sauna room. There's also washer and dryer room. Outside of house is decorated very pretty too - there are multiple sitting areas and the views are just lovely all around. There are also a row of apple trees on the driveway! Very tasty apples! Overall, great experience, good communication with the owner and very well put together place. I would rent there again if I go to Finland. Oh also, there's music system, so pretty much rainy days are no problem - there will be something to do inside. Sitting on the white couch and watching rain over lake view was a profound experience, very calming and relaxing. I highly recommend Timo's house! Thanks Timo and Anti for everything:)

We had a great stay at Maarit’s place. The flat is very spacious, is very well maintained and equipped plus very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the big kitchen! Also Maarit provided us good tips at our arrival. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Very peaceful and beautiful wooded surroundings. The apartment was just what the listing promised.

We spent 2 nights at the cottage and everything went great! The weather didn't favor us though, hence we didn't get the chance to fully enjoy the really nice garden. Will surely come again when needing a place to stay in Kimitoön.
