We had a great stay! Amanda always responds quickly and even allowed my family who were arriving much earlier than us to have access a couple of hours before check in time. The house is cozy and in a quiet neighborhood close to pretty much everything. We would definitely stay there again especially when the pool is available to swim in.

I love staying in Lead SD! This home was exactly like the pictures and description. It was spacious, clean, comfy, and cozy. It has a great selection of board games and cards. The hot tub was great after a long day of gambling and shopping. The Kitchen and Bathrooms were extremely clean. We would definitely try and rent this home again.

Amazing place! It’s right off the highway so easy to get to and such a gorgeous house. The beds were super comfy also! Perfect house to hangout at. The only downfall with being pet friendly is there is so much mud around the house. And the rocks are hard for a dog to walk on. But still recommend and will definitely stay again!

The Kickback Shack was a great place to stay for a quick getaway to ride snowmobiles. House was super nice and love the location - easy access to trails, restaurants and town. Highly recommended!

This was our first time to South Dakota. We wanted to bring an elderly family member to see Mount Rushmore and other historic sites in the area, since they had never been. The house was perfect, very private, out in the country, easy to get to, definitely quieter than in town, no steps, plenty of space, kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms. Having 2 1/2 baths was a perk for the 4 of us in our party. We absolutely loved the deck with the table with the firepit. The nights cooled down, so we were able to enjoy it nightly. We ate out on the deck mostly, grilling steaks which saved money, morning coffee, and breakfast too. Kari was very responsive when asked quick questions and even touched base with us before our trek from 800+ miles away. I searched several Air BnB and VRBO places and this one was perfect. It was pretty much centrally located for all we wanted to do. Thank you, Kari, for being such a gracious host and helping to make our vacation a memorable one.

We stayed during Sturgis week. Close enough to Hill City to walk to for after hours festivities, yet quiet at night because it’s located behind the Super eight.

My Dad and I booked Sasha's house last minute during our road trip through South Dakota. Felt right at home and had everything we needed! Sasha checked in with us to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend if you are either staying for one night or even longer!

Perfect launch pad for us and our dogs to go check out Mt. Rushmore and Custer state park!

This is a wonderful house with easy access to the highways and area restaurants and grocery stores. Grace was responsive and generous and the house itself was beautiful, especially the backyard. A wonderful place to stay in Rapid City!

This was a perfect stay for us. The kids enjoyed the backyard and the place was very clean. They had everything we needed. Close to many things as well. Jennifer responded quickly when we needed her. We will stay again when we come visit.

Stop!!! This is the place!!! I am the type to scout out listing after listing till I find the perfect one. So consider it done for you. This place is perfection!!! Pristinely clean, great seating, comfortable beds, soft linens, stunning views, plenty of amenities, and spectacular hosts. We are already discussing a return trip so we can return. Absolute perfection!!!

This is a great comfortable and roomy home with lots of bedrooms and 'hang out' options. The location is perfect with walking trails just down the block heading either direction. The grocery store is just a few minutes away by car, or bike, as is downtown with lots of shopping and restaurants. You can walk from the home to Marco's pizza which is located on the golf course with outside seating and a great view and good sandwiches in addition to pizza. We really couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Beautifully remodeled home. Bathrooms and kitchen were a bit small for our family of 5, but worked for what we needed. The basement was nice for those needing their own space to watch a movie or read. Overall experience was good and host was super responsive!

Nice little place. A time capsule...reminded me of my Grandmother's house. It was easy to get in and out of town ...we were hiking the Black Hills trails. The fenced-in back yard worked well for the dogs. The street is very narrow and very rough.

Super great house! Great location, loved the recommended things close to the house. Loved the sunroom. Decore was great, kitchen was amazing. Loved that they had items for kids like pack n play, high chair and toys!! Our daughter played with the toys for hours!

Paul and Jana are wonderful hosts. The Haven is super clean, cozy, beautiful, and furnished with everything we needed. They are very thoughtful, kind, and hospitable. Their cottage is in a beautiful location with easy access to many destinations in the Black Hills. We would highly recommend The Haven.
