Jarret was incredibly helpful and responsive. The home was immaculate and did not disappoint at all. The beds were especially comfortable and clean and not even the smallest detail was overlooked. We were very comfortable and felt right at home.

What an awesome Airbnb experience! This home was clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful family trip. Nice touches included muffins, bourbon samples, a grill with charcoal, and a fire pit with wood. We cooked a lot and loved the kitchen! I enjoyed writing postcards and drinking coffee on the front porch. We played board games at the dining room table. Spent a lot of family time together in this very interesting and comfortable setting. We enjoyed learning about the history of the home and the area. Thank you for hosting us and I would definitely recommend this home.

If you want a beautiful place to unplug and relax this is it. At least it was until the day before we left then neighbors show up and turn on music outside loudly then leave with it still on and do not come back. But that is not host fault. We loved watching the deer that came very close to house. River was very peaceful. Loved sitting on the deck. Host was very up front about WiFi it does come and go but that didn’t bother us at all.

We have stayed here about a half a dozen times over the years. Josh is simply the perfect host, and the cabin is very private, absolutely gorgeous, alway spotless, with awesome and breathtaking surroundings. Just extraordinary - Six stars!!

Otter's Den is quiet, scenic, and relaxing. A large, comfortable house surrounded by forest with no neighbors in sight. Nicely equipped kitchen plus a large back deck for grilling and basking in the pristine hot tub. My wife and I especially enjoyed coffee in the rocking chairs on the covered front porch one quiet, rainy morning, listening to birdcalls and the nearby babbling stream. There is plenty to do in the area year-round -- lovely hikes in Dolly Sods wilderness and in 2 nearby state parks, one with a spectacular heated outdoor pool and a nice golf course. And winter sports abound with 2 downhill ski resorts and several cross-country trails within minutes. We haven't found a better way to get away -- we will definitely be back.

Great mountain getaway. Enjoyed the backyard. Towns of Davis and Thomas nearby have fabulous small town feels.

Great cabin. Perfect for the 2 of us and our small pup. We have stayed at many cabins at Black Bear, and this is one of the best. The view is definitely the best view. The cabin has many upgrades and the kitchen is well stocked. We cooked several meals and we had everything we needed. Being next to the horse farm is super cool. The horses were always right next to the cabin in their field and it was just amazing to be that close to them. The AC worked great. Bring bottled water or use the pitcher (brita style) provided in the fridge. It was quiet and the cabin only has a neighbor on 1 side. Good communication with Cameron. The spa was great after a day of hiking. The mattress in the main bedroom is firm. Great Stay!

We loved this home! It looks out at a beautiful lake and is surrounded with trees. Very private. The hot tub was fantastic. Looked out on lake as well. We loved loved loved the couches. They were the type that had buttons to position yourself as cozy as you wanted. The wood burning fireplace is wonderful so snuggled on the couch with a blanket in front of the fire reading a book. The best! There are 3 of them so everyone gets their space. We were there during a blizzard but the community plowed very quickly. Connie and Kimberly were the perfect host. Hummingbirds visited throughout the day, adding magic to an already peaceful stay. The river was stunning and calming, perfect for morning coffee or evening reflection. The house was spotless, thoughtfully decorated with a consistent, charming theme. We loved how secluded and private the location felt, yet we were just a short drive from great restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and outdoor adventures. A perfect blend of nature and comfort—would definitely return!

Great cabin for our party of 6. Would be kinda small for 8, especially if you plan on eating in. Table seats 6. Kitchen is small, but functional. Had everything you would need, especially the coffee bar! Hot tub was great. We all enjoyed the game room/loft. Bunk room was great for the kids! King mattress was comfy, although very low to the ground. Very clean cabin! Darian was very responsive to all of our questions & even checked in with us in the middle of our trip! Would definitely consider staying here again!
