Very clean, cute decor, comfortable and spacious (for our family of 5people), has a lot of ample amenities even for kids! Clubhouse, pool & jacuzzi access. Securities at the gate were friendly and the Neighbors mostly seem don't mind having Air BnB guests in a gated community. Walking to Waldorf hotel took about 10m, beach about 20m. But the restaurants and stores were in short driving distance. We really enjoyed this spot. Thank you!

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriends for my birthday and we had the best time! The house is soooo homey and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with bagels & snacks and a “happy birthday” sign. Pool and hot tub were great. Perfect relaxing outdoor area. So peaceful. Such a lovely home! Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! The place was so well cared for and the setting was quite charming. I had the extraordinary experience of a hot air balloon landing along the property out front... It made for a charming first morning in the vineyards.

We had such an amazing time. So many activities to do at Kathleen’s. Our kids love the pond, swimming pool, fishing, pickleball, and appreciate all the outdoors amenities. Definitely a gem to visit for families. The home is a little dated. But all the outdoor activities make up for it.

Right in between both piers gives you a lot of options just on the balboa peninsula, or just a straight shot to the beach! Really fun stay

This place was such a gem! Got to meet the hosts and they were so sweet and and helpful. If you're anywhere near Ocean Ave for the weekend and need a peaceful little oasis, this is your spot! Comfortable, inviting place once you walk in and such a convenient walk to downtown area. Will definitely be booking again!

The grounds were immaculate. Very roomy guest home. Well stocked with entertainment and kitchen/bath essentials. Would stay again.

Vivian and John‘s cottage was a perfect place for a three day stay. Very peaceful and calm with beautiful surroundings and close to everything I needed to get to. I would love to come back at some point.

She left a lovely welcome note answering any questions we could ever have and also had an awesome little binder of all sorts of activities we could do and restaurants we could have eaten at (with directions included!) which made everything that much easier. I booked Jenna’s beautiful home for my wedding weekend, and it was truly perfect. My bridesmaids and I arrived after the rehearsal dinner, spent the next morning getting ready there, and my husband and I stayed in the Airbnb on our wedding night. Everything exceeded our expectations. The home was warm, spotless, and absolutely stunning. Even my photographer and videographer couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous it was for our getting ready photos. This home is truly a must-stay! Jenna was incredibly responsive and such a wonderful host. I can’t say enough good things!

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Michelle has thought of every detail to make her guests feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that rivaled the coziness of our own home. The kitchen was a standout feature, fully stocked with everything needed to whip up almost any meal. From cookware to an impressive array of spices, we had all the tools to enjoy home-cooked dinners, which made our stay even more special. It’s rare to find such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation rental! The location is perfect for soaking in the local culture. Right on the beach, we loved taking daily walks to explore the vibrant Leucadia community. The highlight, though, was watching the sunset every evening from the living room or deck—pure magic! Place was an amazing stay. The area was nice and quiet. Entrance to the place was very easy and the place has a pool and outdoor patio with a fire pit which was amazing! Beds and sheets were very comfortable and soft with an AC available. The room has a complimentary coffee station which was amazing!!! The place was clean and aesthetic! Highly suggest this place!

First off I want to say the pictures don’t do the back yard any justice. It’s so beautiful and the perfect get away trip without having to break the bank. Definitely worth every penny We loved it and we will be returning again! P.s. Just make sure you bring some bug spray there is a bunch of mosquitos in the back yard, we didn’t have any so don’t be us lol. 🙌
