Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rakalj

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

An absolute dream. The departure was difficult for us, because it was just so beautiful!

Our family of four had a great week at Maya‘s guesthouse. We loved the private backyard with nice garden, heated pool and jacuzzi. The small house has everything we needed and there is a good outdoor kitchen as well. The beach is a few minutes away and at least in fall there are good chances that you have it for yourself. There are hiking trails to the secluded northern part of the island steps away from the house as well. The communication with Maja is easy and very friendly.

Our stay at "Peace of Mind - 2" was lovely. The location of the property is exceptional and offers not only a fantastic view of a wonderful landscape, but much more. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and has all amenities. In addition, you can stay on the terrace by the pool and use the attached kitchen and lounge there. The pool itself offers the opportunity to swim athletically and the view of Kvarner Bay is unbeatable. Host Rajna is always helpful and gives great tips for exploring the area. An absolute feel-good place where you are very warmly welcomed and feel right at home! A. & T.

Gordana was a very nice and great hostess :) I can only agree with the good reviews! The apartment is very well equipped - and you feel right at home. The location is great, almost directly on the marina, a 15-20 minute walk to beautiful beaches, by car or bike you can be there in a few minutes. Even my dog felt comfortable ;) Thanks for the nice days - and the homemade jam was delicious too. Gladly come back and highly recommended! :)

Great apartment, clean and beautiful sea and beaches with shade, short walk away!

Tibor's apartment offers everything you need for a short to medium length vacation. Communication with him was always very straightforward and direct. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Tibor's mother and taken around the apartment and the property. A small welcome snack for guests of all ages is available in the living room. The accommodation itself was very clean and had everything you need in everyday life. The terrace offers a perfect outdoor retreat with plenty of space for breakfast, dinner, or just relaxing. The pool area is large enough for several guests. The pool itself offers the perfect opportunity to refresh yourself, do some sports, or play with your children. The area around the apartment is very quiet. To get to the nearest town, you would probably need a car or bike, if you don't mind walking a bit. The same applies to the nearest beach.

I am very attentive to cleanliness and Ante's apartment was really clean and tidy; it is equipped with everything you need for your stay, including the kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook. Ante was available and the stay was great.

Perfect Workation Spot with Amazing Hospitality! We had an incredible stay at Oliver's place! The accommodation was clean, stylish, and super comfortable – everything we needed for a relaxing and productive visit. We were doing a workation, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to stay connected and get work done without any issues. It was the perfect balance of work and leisure. The pool was definitely a highlight – clean, refreshing, and a great way to unwind after work hours. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality of our host. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. We received honey snaps and fresh picked cherries. One two evenings, we even grilled together with the host, which was such a fun and unexpected highlight. It felt like staying with friends rather than just booking a place. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Great little place for a few days in Pula. Quite clean and responsive hosts. In the kitchen, it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. Due to the proximity of the owners property- there’s a little less privacy. Otherwise, really cute place and worth the price.

Beautifully furnished apartment, modern with everything you need even for a long vacation. Although I couldn't find the hairdryer. Coffee maker, sugar and juice! Everything I needed for one night. Too bad I didn't have more time!

Francesca's land house was simply great for us! It is set in green surroundings up on a hill, totally private, quiet and relaxing! AWESOME VIEW! If you are looking for a place where you can let go of the city stress, you are at the right place here! You need to have a car in order to get the most out of the surroundings. We visited Muggia and Trieste on the Italian side of the border as well as Piran, Portoroz and Koper on the Slovenia side of the border. We loved all the places. In Muggia you have two Despar supermarkets and one MD supermarket (the MD being very close to the one Despar). By car to Muggia is between 6 and 9 minutes. Keep in mind that finding a parking place near the supermarkets can be challenging and they are open only until 19:30 (or eventually 20:00 in summer). If you've been late for the supermarket, we have a hint for you: Go to the San Bartolomeo camping, which is 4 minutes by car from the house. There you will find a small shop and a bar open until 12am! :)

I stayed 3 nights in the accommodation and felt very welcome right away! The host is very warm and helpful, everything is exactly as shown in the pictures and in the information. Very quiet area and ideal for nature lovers! I can also highly recommend taking a tour on the host's boat on the nearby lake. All around a great experience, thank you!

Nothing to add about Emil's cottage, very beautiful, well thought out, warm. It is an energy self-sufficient home which means that you have to be vigilant about your consumption and plan ahead. But Emil's instructions are very clear and it's very interesting. As for the environment, this forest of beech and fir trees is beautiful. We regret only staying 3 nights! If you go and you love the forest, stay longer. Hvala lepa Emil!

Toralf and Marina are very hospitable and have served us coffee and cake right after the strenuous drive. Very idyllic location. By the pool you could only hear the birds chirping. You have a view of the sea. Every now and then you get a nice visit from the two cats Mia and Lucy, who are happy about petting. Betty the dear dog also greets you when you come back from a trip. The house has everything needed and more. Medulin also has everything you need: grocery stores, a beautiful harbor with good restaurants and a beach. Always happy to come back. We were greeted by Bruno and his family who showed us all the details of their beautiful cabin in perfect Italian and with the utmost kindness. The cabin, very clean and perfectly equipped, is immersed in a dense beech forest with other houses around that keep company. A stone's throw away is the Sviščaki retreat that runs as a trattoria and a bar with a children's playground nearby. Nearby are a few mountain trails immersed in the woods, almost all easily accessible. In short, there were four of us plus a two-year-old girl and we had a beautiful quiet vacation in the middle of nature. Thank you Bruno.
