House holiday rentals in Rainbow River

This is a beautiful home and property, even better than the pictures. Mark provided all the information we needed to have a great trip. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were 6 kayaks available, one for each member of our party. Being on the water was a huge plus. We kayaked to the spring and spotted two groups of manatees along with other wild life. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will hopefully return.

Really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space and was very clean. Really enjoyed spending time in the pool.

I found the house around a lot of family I had only 10 mins away. Wonderful location. Hosts responded very quickly. Coming from PA with 5 kids and all that is included was so very helpful. From toilet papers and paper towels, to trash bags, k-cups, laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. Pool and hot tub along with the game room provided lots of memories. Will definitely be staying here again!

Easy access to the River. Boat dock had plenty of room for my 26ft boat. Enjoyed having the pool and loved the layout of the house. This is a good home for a family or even if you have a few more guest with the split floor plan. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for everything,Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

The family enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the area was. We especially enjoyed sitting by the canal and watching the mullet jump out of the water. While kayaking we spotted lots of local wildlife. House was top notch.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my friend and 2 dogs. BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Close proximity to the springs, restaurants, and activities! Would 100% stay here again.

If I could rate this place any higher, I would! Audrey communicated faithfully and was very helpful. The home was clean, spacious, and gorgeous., with modern amenities. The kids spent nearly every waking hour in the pool, and the anglers in the family enjoyed fishing right from the property. At Audrey’s suggestion, we rented kayaks from Easy Peasy Kayak Rental, a local husband & wife company, who delivered our kayaks right to our property. Our family spent so much time cooking, eating, playing, and having fun together, and yet there were many places to go for some quiet time, when needed. This is a very private and peaceful location, with occasional airboats going by to keep things entertaining. Our three generation family of nine had been planning for two years for what we called our “once in a lifetime family vacation.” By the time we left, we were all talking about when we can come back!

A beautiful space on the Rainbow River, you won’t regret staying here! The home is lovely and comfortable and the location can’t be beat if you enjoy nature and privacy. We didn’t use the guest house for our family of 4 but if we had a slightly larger group it would be a great option to spread out. This is a space for quiet time and relaxation, not to be loud or to party, which we appreciated. We arrived on Memorial day and the river was busy but the rest of the stay there was less boat traffic, just a few casual tubers and kayakers floating by. It has lots of floats and water gear and we brought our own canoe which can easily be launched from the yard. We made some fantastic family memories swimming, fishing and cooking off of the back deck and would love to come back next summer! Thanks!

This home was was such a find! It sits on a point that is surrounded by seven sisters springs. The house was nostalgic and relaxing, we all felt like we were at the family cabin. It was in a very privet setting but close driving distance to good restaurants(the freezer:) and amenities. We will definitely be back, Thank you Jere and Darlene for making us feel at home.

A great place to stay!! So close to the Rainbow River access! The golf cart was perfect for getting the kayaks down to the River. Max, the host was fantastic, accommodating, and responded to each request/question very quickly.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this charming Rainbow River Airbnb! The home itself was spacious and comfy, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway with family. The host went above and beyond, providing a helpful YouTube video with details about the house, which made settling in effortless. Everything was well-stocked—from ample toilet paper and paper towels to a generous supply of towels. We especially appreciated the complimentary touches like coffee and popcorn. The outdoor space was a true gem, with a cute little pergola on the back patio that offered a peaceful spot to unwind. There were plenty of lights and fans, ensuring comfort both indoors and out. The location was also unbeatable—within walking distance of great restaurants and charming antique shops. This stay was everything we could’ve hoped for, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend this lovely home to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay at Chimera. We brought our own tubes and floated from their other property upriver and back to this property saving us $120. The float took about an hour and a half. Parking at their other location was well marked. The walk from this rental back to the other location to pick up our vehicle took about 40 minutes. The walk was through a neighborhood slightly uphill without side walks. It’s not a bad walk for adults or teenagers. Using the kayaks was great.The river water by the private dock directly on the river at Chimera has two sandy river bottom patches we stood in and swam around. The current river depth was about five feet by the dock. We saw Fred the bird, fish, small turtles, a young bobcat, and four otters swimming/feeding by the dock almost every day. We did not see any alligators during this stay but have along the river during previous trips which have avoided humans. Chimera is in a great river location. Hal and Sandy are friendly and take ownership pride

Nice little getaway steps away from the river. The place is super comfortable and clean. It was spacious but still felt cozy. My kids really loved staying here. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and was set up nicely. The screened in back porch was really nice for hanging out and eating meals. We paddled on the river and the neighborhood park was perfect for launching. Will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

George's place was perfect for our family get together. The setting is so beautiful right on the river we brought our 17" Mako boat and enjoyed the river immensely. The master suite was perfect for my elderly parents with grab handles to help them get around. The boat ramp was 5min from the house and the dock in back of the house was accessible for my boat. The kitchen was well equipped with most anything you need to prepare meals. There is ample parking as well. George was very responsive with any communications we made. We even had to return for a forgotten item, they were waiting for us inside the front door. I highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful setting for family and fun and the time on the river is great. There are several kayaks, we did not use them since we had our boat but the river would be great for a kayak outing.

House was great location- close to town and restaurants but far enough away to feel the country vibe. House backed up to a pasture which provided privacy and great view. The river activities were all close enough to spend our days on the river and have a house close by to come home to.

Wonderful accomodations and the ability to kayak or paddle board over to the sanctuary within minutes was a great surprise. Already thinking about doing it again!

My wife, our friends, and their young son had a great stay. Definitely worth the price, and the view from the upstairs porch area was amazing. Would highly recommend and stay again.

My husband and I were in need of a quick getaway. We found Donna's place and knew this was exactly what we were looking for. It was in close proximity of Rainbow Springs (where we wanted to visit) and was pet friendly. The house was clean (all hardwood/tile flooring), spacious (open floor plan), nicely decorated, furniture in great condition & comfortable, fenced in yard for the pups, on the river, and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the quiet evenings out back on the deck & in the screened in porch and the pups loved exploring the yard. We cooked breakfast & lunch at the home and explored the town for dinner. We did not get to use the kayaks or bikes but loved that they were available. Donna answered all my questions and was very accommodating to my dates. I would definitely book this home again and recommend to others! Thank you!

Kristen was a wonderful host. Friendly & accommodating. The house was lovely, comfortable, and well equipped. I especially loved the upstairs loft with the picture window that offered a great view of the surrounding marshlands from the upstairs desk. The outdoor spaces were great for cookouts & fishing too if you’re up for a little kayaking. There are set of wind chimes that sing the most beautiful melody creating an almost hypnotically relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend!!

This house exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved enjoying the wildlife in the yard, taking the kayaks out on the river, relaxing around the firepit and using the hot tub. We ended our evenings cozy on the couch watching movies on the projector. Megan's guidebook had some great suggestions of places to go in the area and she responded very quickly every time I contacted her. I would definitely stay here again!

Brand new everything in home. Comfy beds, big TV’s, walking trails close by and Rainbow springs minutes away. Fun location.

Our employees loved having this peaceful and beautiful location to rest and wake up to the peaceful surroundings the next morning after working hard all day. We had a fantastic stay! The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—there wasn’t a single thing we found ourselves missing. The kids had an absolute blast kayaking and swimming in the swimming hole—it was a highlight of the trip! The downstairs area was perfect for the whole family to relax, hang out, and enjoy some quality time together. Such a cozy, welcoming spot—we’d definitely love to come back!
