Neighborhood is partially wooded, you may see wild turkeys, fox, and owls! 2 min from 700acre Iroquois Park, 10min from Churchill Downs, 17 minutes from downtown, and 7 minutes from the Louisville International airport.

Recently renovated lake house with rustic contemporary decor. Gourmet kitchen includes dishes, cookware and small appliances as well as a deluxe espresso/cappuccino maker. House is located in a gated, private community with a 320 acre lake up to 70 ft deep. Only pontoon boats and fishing boats permitted, ensuring a quiet lake experience and wake-free dock sitting. Two kayaks, canoe, paddle board and some basic fishing equipment for guest use. Pontoon rental by owner - separate contract.

Great for a romantic getaway for two, or for your entire family. It would also be great for a small church or business retreat. We can accommodate up to 10 if you double up in some beds.

The Pearman Trail is steps from the front porch, just across the railroad tracks, and leads to the public boat ramp, Historic Civil War Fort Duffield and the 7 miles of hike/bike trails which surround it. Explore the towns many National Historic Registry buildings.

We are located in South Louisville but pretty much centrally located to everything in the City of Louisville. We are 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Churchill Downs, 15 minutes from downtown attractions, close to interstate access and 1 mile from a park. Also, our guests are welcome to relax by our koi ponds and to see my husband’s fish aquariums in his Fish House by just walking through gate at the guest house. We pride ourselves on Southern Hospitality!
