Enricos Rustico is very tastefully decorated and in the household you will find everything you need. Very easy to reach by public transport, so we could do super nice hikes all over the valley. Now in May, we hardly met any other hikers. There are two restaurants in the village, but no shop, so bring food if you want to spend some time in this archaic world without crowds or otherwise eat in the beautifully located restaurants. We are very pleased to have found such quiet places in Switzerland. Thanks to Enrico!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The place is very nice and well equipped so nothing is missing. We were particularly impressed by the quiet location, which offers a perfect retreat. The view of the lake is simply fantastic and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The first coffee in the morning will be such a special experience. The communication with Jacqueline was excellent – the clear instructions left no questions unanswered. In addition, the brochures with activities provided were a great addition to exploring the surrounding area and making the most of the stay. We can definitely recommend this place.

Thank you Ursula for this amazing stay in your chalet. An authentic and peaceful experience in the nature surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, flower fields, and the forest. The historical house is super clean, decorated with care and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Ursula even baked a bread and a Zopf for us, both delicious 😍 we could also order food from their farm, like cheese, eggs and meat. It was difficult to leave this quiet heaven. We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

We were very warmly welcomed by Silvia. The check-in went very smoothly. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed spending time there. Silvia gave us great tips for the area. The absolute highlight is the balcony and the pool. We will be happy to come back!

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

Had a super good experience! Brand new apartment with fantastic views, delicious breakfast, good instructions and delicious bath with beautiful views. Super customer experience and the host goes that extra mile to make you feel at home and pamper you. If we had to mention a downside, it was the quality of the food ordered, which was somewhat lacking in quality. Keep it up!

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

The accommodation is simply unique! The view with the pool is really gigantic! The accommodation was a dream, we will come back! Everything was as described and in the photos. A super large and modern bathroom.

Unfortunately, we only stayed a few hours in the house of Adina and her family. We went back to the Netherlands by car the same evening because young children could sleep in the car. The house was a very nice stopover where we could really relax. It is equipped with all comforts, a spacious beautiful garden and beautiful views! The children enjoyed playing in the garden. Adina and her husband are very hospitable, thank you again for the delicious wine! See you soon!

The apartment was amazing and the views beyond breathtaking with views of the falls from all three bedrooms and the kitchen. Lauterbrunnen was a great choice for our basecamp to visit the surrounding towns. For those wondering if you should take the train or rent a car, we were so thankful that we decided to rent a car. We weren’t bound to transportation schedules and was able to explore, but took the train to the towns like Mürren where cars are not allowed. And the apartment has a garage! Richard was kind enough to let us keep the car parked after check out so we could explore the area some more. One thing to note, the apartment is on the second floor so if you have a lot of luggages like we did, it may be a struggle. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We spent a night in Ettore's cabin after a day of skiing and had a great time. The accommodation is 10 minutes from the ski lifts of Airolo in a quiet and easily accessible inhabited area. The place is warm and comfortable, the beds are very comfortable, and Ettore is very helpful and very thoughtful towards his guests. He also recommended several restaurants in the area. In short, highly recommended! Thank you Ettore🫶

We loved this apartment. The view from the balcony is wonderful - we spent hours watching all the activities and wildlife on and around the lake. The apartment was just as listed, spotless, comfortable, with everything you could need... such a great place to stay - wish we could have stayed longer!

The bed was cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. One of the best parts was the location—just steps away from the ferry terminal, which made exploring the area incredibly easy and stress-free. Daniela, the host, was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, friendly, and very responsive to any questions I had. She even allowed me to check in early, which was a huge help and really set the tone for a relaxing stay. Her hospitality made the whole experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area, and I’m already looking forward to staying here again in the future!
