Beachfront holiday rentals in Quintana Roo

We booked Mami’s condo for a June girls trip and it was perfect for us! We used Resort Pass to buy day passes to a few all inclusives in the area. Having a clean condo with a beautiful view, a gym, a rooftop bar/pool in a gated community was such a nice alternative to being stuck at a super busy all inclusive for a week. The condo was such a nice, quiet space to land after a busy day at the beach or sitting poolside at a resort. We checked out the cenotes, Secrets at Isla Muljeres (this is a must do,) got massages and facials at the Waldorf Astoria, did some shopping and had an awesome time exploring good restaurants. Our only gripe was the front gate insists you keep a wrist band on your wrist the entire week and would sass us when we just attached them to our wallets. I understand security is important but wearing a plastic wristband for a week that you cant remove felt unnecessary. No fault of Mami’s, she is a perfect host and very communicative/helpful/kind! Book it!

The condo was wonderful and Michaela was an incredible host. We enjoyed the amazing views and comfortable apartment and felt very well taken care of. Michaela was remarkably responsive when a couple little things came up and made the entire experience smooth. The location on Half Moon Bay was perfect- we snorkeled right out front of the building, using the ample equipment they provided, and loved walking to the beach bars in Akumal (especially Buena Vida and La Lunita). It was also an easy walk to the lagoon, which was a must see as well. Having seen Tulum, we were so glad to have the much more laid back vibe of Akumal. The condo was perfectly located for an easy but peaceful stay with lots of swimming in the pool and staring at the blue water. For what it’s worth, the elevator was working almost the entire time we were there, but was out for part of a day. We did not end up making use of the rooftop area- it wasn’t really necessary with the lovely deck on the apartment.

We loved our stay at Rachel's Beautiful Condo! As the pictures shows, her space is wonderful in so many ways! It is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable, and she is a kind, responsive and fantastic host! We would not hesitate to stay here again. The pool at the Elements is fantastic, the food at the ocean grill is great and so convenient, there is an awesome yoga center just across the street, and the ocean views are great. We really enjoyed our stay there - 5 stars!!!

Amazing place great view

We had a lovely time at Jesus’ place - check in was flexible as we were allowed to wait in the pool area and were lucky enough to check in an hour early. The location is good, close to the Chedraui (grocery store), super aki (convenient for tour pick up), and the colectivo station. Walkable to the Centro and only a stop away from the ruins/national park where you can access the beach. Having a laundry room was super confident too!

We enjoyed the place a lot. Great that it is inside Playacar gated neighborhood. House is big and comfortable

Being a host myself I read reviews and want a clean safe place. This place checked all those boxes and more. This was a girls trip for my friends birthday We felt safe and well takin care of. We ordered groceries ahead of time so they were in the room when we arrived . Joel works in the office and was ABSOLUTELY so nice and helpful. All of the staff here work so hard. If you want a nice condo by the ocean don't hesitate to book . I would absolutely stay here again and trust me when I say I am picky. Thank you Julie I hope to host you sometime if you visit Arizona and want a 🌲pine getaway. Take care

My husband and I travelled with 2 of our boys, ages 13 and 6, and my in-laws (early 80’s) joined us mid-week. I cannot speak highly enough of the property and the attentiveness to our needs by the staff. Everything as pictured and then some. We absolutely loved our stay and would come again in a heartbeat. We are currently trying to plan our next stay. The private area along with convenience to a cenote, town, a grocery store - we did not feel like we missed a thing and everything we needed was so close! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here and would highly encourage you to. I worried our boys wouldn’t like it, but they had so much fun in the pool, along the shore in tide pools, hunting for crabs at night, watching the birds - it was all amazing. Definitely in our top 3 vacations and we hope to go again!

Great beach view. Spacious place with kitchenette and table for four people. Very close to get to the airport, Mayan train station, Plaza la Isla, playa dolphins, etc. No traffic complaint on the days we were. Very good care of the host.

If you’re looking for the perfect Airbnb in Akumal/Tulum/Playa del Carmen—this is it! The home is stunning: spacious, modern, full of natural light, with an incredible pool and views. It’s in a peaceful, safe area, and the host and staff go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. They offer amazing recommendations—massages, restaurants, chefs, yoga, boat trips, cenotes, and more. We used Chef Ricardo for most meals and highly recommend him! We visited for a bachelorette trip and were welcomed with themed balloons and a super cute setup. Despite last-minute changes, the team was extremely accommodating and responsive. Whether it’s a bachelor/bachelorette party, family vacation, friend getaway, or a relaxing retreat, this place is a 10/10. Huge thanks to Charlotte and team for making our trip so special and seamless!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Playa del Carmen! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and everything else we wanted to explore. The neighborhood felt safe and was incredibly beautiful, with plenty of charm and vibrant local culture. The home itself was spotless and very well-maintained. You can tell the host puts a lot of care into making sure guests feel comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. From check-in to check-out, the host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind—truly one of the best we’ve encountered. This place really made our vacation stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen. We'd definitely stay here again!

Hollie and Jorge were amazing hosts. The location was perfect (except for the seaweed which they can’t control). The beach bar & restaurant down the beach was great. The home was clean and the outside area was beautiful. Beds were comfy as well! We also had William make breakfast two mornings and dinner one evening - it was so good & he and his wife are so accommodating. Lastly, we felt so secure with Armando, the security guard. Thank you Hollie!!

This place is heaven! I now understand why this place has a perfect review score: it truly lives up to all of the expectations set, and then some. The house is super peaceful and private-with two very helpful and friendly caretakers onsite when needed, but totally out of your way when not. We basically lived in the pool and adjacent palapa and just lounged for 5 days in this small slice of paradise. Don't expect to swim in the ocean (we got lucky and the sargassum subsided 1 afternoon) -- but its not an issue at all. The pool is amazing + there are so many cenotes and swimming spots within a 5-20 minute drive (15 mins from Xelha, highly recommend). The inside is exactly everything a couple needs - it felt like a luxury suite at a 5 star resort. Large comfy bed, nice bathroom, and decent sized kitchen and living room -- all super clean and well stocked. We grocery shopped and cooked a few meals + there are many decent restaurants within a 5-20 min walk or short drive. We will be back!

Jeff was a wonderful host. Very great at communicating and answering every question we had. His instructions were also very thorough and easy to understand. The inspire care takers Eric and his wife Paula were outstanding. Very polite and extremely hard working. The house is in a more remote area and offered us privacy while still being able to enjoy breathtaking views!

The home was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—beautiful and welcoming. The only issue was an unpleasant odor coming from one of the bathrooms, which we discovered was due to the toilet brush. Once we identified the source, we placed the brush in the backyard, and the smell was no longer a problem. The home was clean, the instructions were clear, and the property itself was stunning—just steps away from the beach. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Loved this he place! Very beautiful and peaceful. Had the beach to myself! Close to Playa Del Carmen and Cancun but spent most of my time in a small fishing town called Puerto Morelos!!! Puerto Morelos was amazing with the prettiest water!

Mahayana will forever hold a sacred place in the hearts of my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with care, setting the tone for what became one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. Tulum is pure magic! Even before our arrival, communication was thoughtful making check-in effortless. We were greeted with a tour of the beautiful beach community, and the staff made us feel right at home. Every evening, we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean…so close it felt like the waves were crashing right inside our room. It was soul-soothing. Housekeeping kept our bungalow pristine, always refreshed and ready after long days exploring the sacred cenotes, vibrant culture, and breathtaking nature of Tulum. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, close enough to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel like our own private sanctuary. We are grateful to the entire team at Mahayana. Thank you for creating a space with so much love!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo apartment in Cancun, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation spot. The apartment had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the surrounding area and easy access to all the local amenities. The condo complex itself was well maintained and The apartment was clean and well equipped, with a stocked kitchen and comfortable bedroom. Gated access made it feel safe. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the beautiful beach. We spent many happy hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the local food. The apartment was also close to a range of great restaurants and bars and clubs, so we had plenty of options for dining out. Overall, we were really impressed with the condo apartment and would definitely stay there again. It was the perfect base for our vacation in Cancun, and we felt lucky to have found such an apartment for our honeymoon.

Hard to describe how magical the shell houses were! Each house was incredible and unique, filled with thoughtful details and artistic touches. Miss Vanessa was amazing and helped arrange many things to celebrate my birthday including a private chef. Our group of friends loved the stay, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend, it’s dreamy!
