Excellent place, very comfortable, everything is very clean

I had a wonderful stay here! The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and quiet. There was a shared area above it with a fantastic view of the volcanoes and the surrounding landscape. The kitchenette was surprisingly well-equipped, with everything I needed to cook simple meals. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Oh, and there was a sauna on the property, which I was kindly invited to use during my stay. I truly enjoyed everything and definitely recommend this place!

The Chapina de Sonia hospitality was incredible, very warm and kind. Ronald set us off a space to park and was on the lookout for us. Sonia always responded quickly or has been one of the most accommodating hosts I've ever stayed in. Many thanks Sonia

Large downstairs apartment, had everything you could ask for. Close enough to walk to the center, and La Tora. Well worth the price, would recommend and return for short or longer stays.

The place was nice. Great view. Comfortable. Bed was a little hard. Location was not what I expected. Felt like a quiet neighborhood and wouldn’t walk around in that area. Was a little confusing to get to. Location was pretty central depending on what you will be doing in Xela. Once you are inside the apartment building it feels safe. And if you are looking for a place to sleep through the entire night, the dogs barking in the area can be a pain.

Our host communicated with us at all times, provided clear arrival and access instructions. The photos are exactly what we found in the accommodation. Cleanliness, order and comfort. It was a work trip and it was important for us to have a pleasant space with a good internet connection, where we could rest without the hustle and bustle and with everything we needed to prepare for a new working day. Plenty of space and all the amenities. Very close to the center of Xela, accessible to restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

The Lugar is very nice the instructions I received them in such a practical way that the arrival feels like if you were coming to your own home, the accommodation is very cozy, the kitchen super complete. If you decide for this place your stay will be enjoyable. (I don't recommend people in the 3rd. age since you have to go up stairs to get to the apartment.

We enjoyed our stay again, the apartment is the same as the photos, clean and tidy, with a beautiful view of the volcano. It is accessible and has very good amenities. The hosts are also very friendly and attentive. Recommended!

Beautiful place and the service, super

The place is the closest to the Irtra parks than any other place, you can go camiandio towards Xocomil and Xetulul. There was initiative in fixing any problems on the part of Alejandra, so we had a good time with the family.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The view is unbelievable and this was the perfect location to soak up the beauty that is lake atitlan. It was easily walkable to the town and if we couldn’t be bothered to walk back up the hill, there are plenty of tuk tuks to take us up! Andonías and his family were wonderful hosts, extremely communicative and dedicated to making sure we had the perfect stay. Thank you again Andonías, I hope we can come back one day

The suite was situated up the hill from the main town so therefore the view was absolutely stellar. It was bright, open and clean and Hodges was very responsive when we had questions. It's possible to take a TukTuk up and down the road from the main town, or you can choose to hike the stairs. We just used the TukTuk when we arrived and left, due to our luggage, but did the stairs every other day just like the locals. We looked at it as great exercise that offset our chill time in the great coffee shops and restaurants. There are no window coverings, so its essential to bring an eye mask for the light and earplugs for the dogs and roosters at night. The suite is up in the locals part of town, so although there a lot of dogs in Guatemala, there are more in the locals area, along with, chickens and roosters. This is authentic Guatemala, and the locals and super friendly. They also appreciate your greetings (hola, buenos dias... etc) when passing by.
