Down the Lane @ 408 is tucked down a laneway on the restaurant strip of North Hobart. It is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, pubs, galleries, and opposite the iconic State Cinema. The heart of the CBD is a 15 minute gentle walk or alternatively the bus stop is directly opposite the accommodation. There is parking allocated to this accommodation. The location is one of its best assets. It is difficult to get accommodation on the strip at this price

The original Cottage once served as the first North Hobart Post & Telegraph Office and has been recently renovated to accommodate guests. It is an upstairs studio with it's own entrance. It is warm, spacious, comfortable and self contained. The studio connects to a second separate bedroom which can be made available for additional guests. Connie is a vintage caravan positioned perfectly among the poplar trees to give guests a little hideaway to relax and enjoy themselves. Connie can sleep up to two adults with a proper innerspring mattress. A bathroom with shower and toilets is very close by, as is a kitchen guests can use if required. The kitchen has a fridge, hot plates, microwave and dishwasher.
