We had a lovely time. Doreen and Doug were extremely responsive and helpful even when the power unexpectedly went out during a storm. We would definitely come back the next time we are in Sechelt.

This beautiful bachelor suite was clean, bright, and homey feeling. Located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk down the road to the ocean, this place was a wonderful place to come to enjoy peace and quiet

We had a lovely stay at Liz’s cabin close to the beach. It was wonderful to get away for a weekend with hiking/cycling as well as enjoyed the quietness and calm nature Hornby has to offer. Liz was an excellent host and would love to return someday.

Had a nice time at Paul’s place! The space was perfect for a couple and has a great deck with a dining table, bbq and soft tub. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved that there was a dishwasher! Paul was very friendly and had two beautiful pups! Location is perfect for a day trip to Savary Island (close to the water taxi) and about a 15ish minute drive from Craig park (for disc golf!). We would stay here again! Thanks Paul!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edward and Kira's. Shanti (the dog) is absolutely beautiful and a very gentle soul. The cottage is very well equipped with some of the best kitchen supplies we've encountered in our many travels. I loved the chat with Edward and Shanti, and the friendly welcoming attitude of all the neighbors we saw while walking our pup. The covered outdoor sitting area is a huge bonus when it's raining, as you can stay warm and dry while enjoying the fresh air! The shower pressure is great and the bathtub is huge. The place is even more lovely than the photographs, and we've already recommended it to my parents. Would not hesitate to return!

We couldn’t recommend Romina’s place enough. Perfect location for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Cortes Island. We felt right at home and the place was very spacious, comfortable and filled with thoughtful details. Everything was truly spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the garden stunning. The space and the setting was perfect for travelling with our dogs. Romina was a fantastic host: very responsive, friendly and flexible. Will definitely stay again!!

Visited with my wife and parents.Very well appointed, especially in the kitchen, which as a chef I appreciated as I cooked both nights. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Only drawback is road noise when in living/dining area as it is close to the highway. Road noise not really noticeable in bedrooms. Friendly people. Would stay again

Completely in awe of this beautiful oasis that was designed for a most relaxing holiday :). Janice and Wayne are so genuinely warm, friendly and helpful - they thought of every detail - from the comforts of home (cool vibes and very stylish) to helping make your stay the most memorable. Their convenient location is merely a skip to south beach and we loved biking to the Mermaid Beach Club one night. Having tea with a view up top was one of our favourite ways to start our day. Savary island is truly magical and we feel so grateful to have experienced it at such a lovely home away from home. Thank you to you both for making our vacation so special - we can hardly wait for next summer!!

Amazing place!! Exactly how it is described. Very clean and comfortable. Amenities were well- thought-out. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would have no hesitation to stay again in the future.

Cindy was a pleasure to work with when I had a special request and was very thoughtful in the details she put into the place. The only sounds that I could hear at night came from the frogs in the pond and it was a relaxing location to stay at.

Our stay here was Fantastic! Dave and Rachel were fantastic hosts with a perfect location and ideal set up. Very quiet neighborhood, and close to all of what Comox Valley has to offer. Very clean suite with all the amenities of home, We will definitely be checking for availabilities at their place for our next visit to the Valley!

Everything was excellent! If there is a better accommodation anywhere else…..we would love to visit it! Inn with the Old is truly a gem.

May 2025 We had a wonderful week, very relaxing and the space is very modern and well thought out. Very nice to have our own small garden place with hummingbirds. Door access from back lane/ drive way very simple no steps so easy access for anyone with mobility challenges. Great location within walking distance of town and restaurants. Kitchen was well equipped, includes basic spices, we cooked several meals and everything we needed was there. Anne was on site and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Janice and Bill’s beautiful place while in town for a family wedding. The location was perfect—close to town but tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque setting. The home was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Janice was a gracious host, welcoming us warmly and making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!

We had a great time at Angelas place! The home was so very clean and had super comfy beds. The kitchen had everything you need including freshly ground coffee which was delicious. Walking distance to the lakes. Angela greeted us in person and was very friendly, responsive and helpful. Thank you and we would stay again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy linens to the well-stocked kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts (Lisa and Al) were exceptional—communicative, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions. Check-in was seamless, and they even left thoughtful touches like snacks and local recommendations. The location was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. This was my third stay. Highly recommended!

We always love staying at Renee and Travis's suite! We appreciate how clean and functional it is, and feel at home as soon as we arrive. The hosts are really lovely and welcoming and there are beaches, trails and access to nature close by. We cannot recommend highly enough!

The cottage was immaculate and nicely furnished . Although I didn't have a need to cook, the kitchen was well appointed with everything one would need for preparing meals, even a gas barbecue ! Although the road was very busy during the day, I found it very peaceful for sleeping . Jennifer, my host, was friendly and very efficient with the information I needed for accessing the property and there was a very attractive binder which provided a lot of information about the cottage and the surrounding areas. I think my only recommendation would be to have some sort of covering for the double doors. As a solo female traveller, I like to be able to close everything up so that no one can see inside the place I am staying . It would feel much cosier too . I would definitely recommend the property to my family and friends. Also, the floors were cold, as another guest had stated in their review. Bring slippers !

Halfmoon Bay is a perfect location, the house comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. Our daughter loves cooking for us in that magnificent kitchen, almost as much as she likes going to the restaurants in the area. Good choice, only wish more of the listings were this great. Loved the oak & fern suite with its peekaboo ocean view. Sitting on the deck listening to the birds in the woods was lovely ❤️ the inside felt right at home- very well organized and appointed!
