Cave holiday rentals in Pyrgos Kallistis

Our experience at this Airbnb was truly perfect from beginning to end. We were greeted at the airport by a driver arranged by the host, and upon arrival, someone was already waiting to help us with our bags. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and in the perfect location—just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and bars, with a stunning view of the sea. Daily breakfast was such a nice touch, and I was especially grateful that the host provided soy milk after I requested it—two cartons, no less! The cozy slippers made us feel right at home, and while I didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub (too busy exploring!), it looked pristine and super inviting. Check-in and check-out were both seamless, with a porter to help with bags and transportation arranged for our departure as well. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone visiting Oia. A truly special stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our night here! Our ferry had been canceled due to high winds so we had to find a place last minute. It was a blessing in disguise because we got to stay at Elvira’s beautiful place! She did suggest she had someone who could help with our luggage for a small fee as it’s quite a lot of steps going down and back up to the apartment. We took her up on that offer and the very friendly and strong guy managed our heavy bags for us. Many restaurants to choose from with in walking distance. Highly recommend this one of a kind rental!

Great place that had amazing views next to the blue top church. Host was very helpful with recommendations. Only complaint would be the amount of traffic from people waiting to take photos near the Airbnb (above the private chained off area) but is to be expected with a place is such a great locations. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back next year!

The house is indeed very special in a very special part of syros. It is quite small and cozy but we found it wonderful. Ano syros is amazing but do consider it requires to travel by foot with lots of stairs, nice challenge, but can be tiring sometimes. For us it was worth the special environment of the place. This was the most incredible Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The location was iconic and took our breath away! The apartment was beautiful and functional and the pool was perfect. Nick is an awesome host and is very responsive in any communication or request. There are crowds in peak times to get down to the villa but just say you are a movie star and need priority to get back to your privacy!! Only regret was we didn’t book longer!

The location is called “magic mountain”. And it exceeded expectations. Beyond magic. This is a special sanctuary. You can feel it, inside the magical 16th Century recovered and restored home. When you interact with the special animals that have found solace with this good woman. When you walk through the lush green forested centuries old walking paths. To stay here you have to appreciate nature, history and animals. If that’s you, o question, you’ll love it here. Alexandra, Sandy, we are in awe of you. We met the kindest humans at your place. And the most sensitive and wonderful animals. Bless you. May you continue to host caring and appreciative guests. The real magic about this place, is that when you stay here, your euros will support the animals who find care here.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat! Irini was amazing and gave us a ton of recommendations, made dinner reservations for us, and arranged port transfers. The view is jaw dropping and worth every penny. We loved staying in the caves and exploring Oia!

Chris was a superb host. He arranged not only our transfer from the airport but also rides to surrounding towns. Breakfast served every morning was a plus. Best location possible in Ammoudi Bay!

Our experience was fantastic ! We went with the group to Tsiknopempti and we really didn't want to leave! The house is spotless with a lovely living room with a fireplace! Fully equipped BBQ and kitchen and incredible views! Close to activities and excursions is the perfect base

Our stay here was all we hoped it would be and more! Artemis was the host we worked with. She communicated so well with us the entire time. We met at a designated spot and she showed us where to park then walked us to the cutest place to stay! She even helped with the luggage ❤️. She truly was a delight and was so kind and helpful during our stay. The house was perfect for us and our three young adult children. We had plenty of room and even some privacy. It is walking distance to Oia for shipping and restaurants. Several great restaurants are within walking distance in Finikia. The cave house was a perfect way to spend our time on this beautiful island. We hope to come back and would definitely stay with Artemis again!

We loved our stay in Megalochori. Khania and Kostas were great hosts. They helped arrange transportation for us to the house and Kostas met us to give us all the details of our stay. The house was so unique and very comfortable. We met so many lovely people in the village during our stay. It was a smaller, quieter village than main towns of Santorini but so glad we chose to stay there and miss so many groups of tourists. It was welcoming and charming.

Such a lovely house! Impeccable attention to detail, it exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate Maria’s effort to keep the house well maintained. The only issue we had was the WiFi connection which was good only when in the living room. It can be though a matter of infrastructure.

Better than it looks, and it looks amazing. Views were just out of this world. Not sure why people obsess over Oia (we went). The sunsets from the cool water jacuzzi on the upper terrace were the stuff of dreams.

Our stay was short but amazing! Lena received us and was very dear to us, helpful, polite, showed the whole house with great affection. We love it! We hope to return soon and will always recommend this property.

Very nice house with perfect location. Easy access to all the locations on the island. The house is beautiful in traditional style with beautiful plants in the spacial garden. It’s really pleasant to enjoy the sunshine in the garden. There is a great pastry within walking distance where you can easily arrange breakfast and lunch. The only pity is that the kitchen is not really up to use. We had to request to get the induction and cooking basics. Although the staff brought items immediately upon request, unfortunately these cooking equipments didn’t function well and lack of a few things like chopping board, kitchen knives, oil etc. Overall, a great place for holiday, if you do not have cooking demands.

The house has a great location, located at the end of the beach. It is private with great sea views, we enjoyed it very much. Nice bar/restaurant in just a few minutes walk. House is super clean, fully equipped kitchen and easy to reach. Would stay again. Sophia (and John) responded quickly to questions, they are perfect hosts.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms look nice online but are even better in person and each room has a beautiful view. It's small enough that the staff knows guests by name and is able to provide suggestions when needed. During check-in, the staff was kind enough to help arrange multiple dinner reservations and set up a car rental, which all worked out wonderfully. Additionally, we stayed in two separate rooms that they had due to a late booking by me and the staff was kind enough to move bags from one room to the next for us while we were out on an excursion during the day on the day that we switched rooms. While Oia or Thira may seem like the top locations to stay in Santorini, from our experience we would stay in no other location than Imerovigli. It's close enough to access the larger cities easily while still being far enough off of the beaten path to feel a little less hectic all while having great dining options nearby. Also, the breakfast served in the cafe/bar attached to the hotel made for a great way to start each day as the food was delicious and the view was breathtaking. All in all, the hotel was in a beautiful location, the rooms vastly exceeded our expectations, and the whole experience was topped off by a kind and welcoming staff who went over the top to make our stay pleasantly memorable. I would recommend staying with Christos and Marios to anyone who is traveling to Santorini.
