Holiday rentals with breakfast in Putnam County

We stayed at Sarah's place during graduation week at West Point. The house worked well for our group of 8. We loved having such a well equipped kitchen and the comfortable beds. The yard is beautiful with a great patio and, grill and fire ring out back. We saw a lot of deer and the view of the Hudson River is fantastic. Sarah was a great host! I definitely would recommend staying here!

Our family stayed here for my son's West Point graduation. This was our second visit and we were thrilled to be back. This house is well taken care of, clean, and relaxing. It's close to the town of Cornwall, grocery stores, etc so you have access to what you need. The hosts are responsive, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Good space. Great view. Nice to have the front desk for any help. It’s the house at the end of the hotel lot, but feels separate which is nice. Deck could be loud with cars/trains but not really a problem for us. I’d recommend for any group. Plenty of bathrooms and the couches do pullout into beds.

My stay at Meedlen’s was amazing, my whole family has a great time and we absolutely loved all the amenities she offers, the pool was great, the backyard a true oasis, she was always responsive and making sure we felt right at home. Very cute place with great hosts. They had a big dog who was very friendly!! Wish we had more time to explore the area and do the small hike in the hill in the back. But overall had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Maria was very responsive and super helpful with recommendations. The house is very nice and a fairly convenient location to the US Military Academy. My only suggestion is to make sure you don’t have anyone in your party that has trouble with stairs. I didn’t think about that and the stairs in this style of house are quite steep, so my father-in-law, who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s had to sleep downstairs on the couch. Other than that, we’d certainly stay there again.

This place had such warmth and brightness! There were so many cozy spots to get comfortable in, and the surroundings were equally beautiful! I’m looking forward to staying there as often as I can, since my kids and grandkids live in the area and it was a great spot for us all to gather! I was there during the winter, so I wasn’t able to use the pool, but even in this season it looked well groomed and inviting. I can’t wait for a stay there in the summer! And Gary was so available and easy to communicate with - he made me feel more like a friend than a client!

We stayed at Jonathan's airbnb these last two weeks, It was outstanding, he made it so great for us, and kept in touch and if we needed anything he was available. The home is lovely, clean and spacious. He left food for our first a.m. and so many other nice little touches. We will be back as we visit our daughter who lives nearby. The stay was amazing. Great hospitality and apartment. I would definitely recommend for quiet time or a romantic weekend. Anna and Sean went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you need.

This was a great place to stay especially if you love the outdoors . Really loved the set up and all the amenities . Highly recommend for a weekend away. You won’t be disappointed .

A great character property and a perfect place to stay and experience Bridgeport. Bob is a great representative of the area and has filled his space with a treasure trove of information about the area's rich history . His apartment is spacious yet every corner of it is filled with something of interest...either about the area, or just generally cool things. Bridgeport's history is pretty fascinating and worthy of discovery and Bob's place is located in a perfect area to get a taste of it. We spent a great day in Black Rock which is a hip area but like Bridgeport itself doesn't have any pretension about it. If you like the beach (like us) there are alot of options in the area... we took a healthy hour long drive out out to New London (Ocean Park Beach) and had a great day... the local beaches are there in Bridgeport too but we knew what we wanted and made the drive to New London to see more of the area. Nearby Fairfield and Wesport are also cool spots to hang out in and the summer night life did not disappoint in those areas. Highly recommend Bob's place as a great base to enjoy the area.

Staying at Dr. Ned and Mary’s place was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped into a beautifully curated museum. The introduction of each collection really made me feel personal and warm. Beyond the incredible decor, the apartment itself is spacious, spotless, and incredibly cozy. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking! I found myself constantly pausing just to take it all in. This stay was worth far more than the price — a true hidden gem. I can’t recommend it enough!

I absolutely loved my stay at Christina and Dan’s. They were incredibly friendly, kind, and considerate. The place where we stayed was very clean and beautiful. The horses, the spa and the breathtaking views made our trip amazing. Breakfast was delicious and always on time for us to begin our day. Also, the town around was filled with incredible restaurants (with live music) and very kind people. I can’t rave about this place and it’s amazing owners enough. I recommend this great stay for anyone and will definitely be back soon.

It was a such a pleasure to spend time there while I was in the neighborhood teaching a Gravity Golf school. The hospitality was next level and the conversations were wonderful. Thank you!!!

What a hidden gem in the beautiful Hudson Valley wine country- I almost want to keep it a secret so it doesn’t become too popular! Everything about our trip was great from initial outreach and questions with Victor about booking, to day of check in, and all of the tips and hospitality from Victor the owner and all staff, especially Angelo. We lucked out with good weather for most of the trip as well. We sampled an array of amazing wines at Benmarl and also participated in the Fineries at the Wineries event and was able to hop around and try other wineries as well, and then end our night with a fire in the fireplace and a few glasses of wine back in the b&b. Victor prepared an amazing cheese plate and pizza Saturday night as well - highly recommend to try the food on the weekends. We would definitely come back whether for a day trip or to stay over in the b&b again.

We had a fabulous experience. We were in the area for a wedding at The Mayflower and this could not have been a better location. The room was so comfortable and pleasing to the eye! The breakfasts were delicious and the staff is amazing. The town of New Milford was charming with nice boutique- like shops and cute little restaurants. We lucked out with a street concert on Bank Street the evening we arrived, 3 blocks from our stay, so we kicked the long weekend off right. If we are ever back in the area, we look forward to the opportunity to stay at The Homestead again!

Will stay again next time we visit Storm King. Amenities were spot on and we felt very comfortable during our stay.
