Holiday rentals with a kayak in Pushaw Lake

Sydney’s house was perfect for our family! It was clean, with beautiful views on a quiet, private street. The house had plenty of toiletries, we didn’t need to buy any household items while there. The hot tub was clean and perfect for a breezy afternoon looking out at the water. Sydney was a great host, providing tons of recommendations on places to dine and sites to see. Perfect location to visit both the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor! Would love to stay here again.

The location of the house was perfect for our visit to Acadia. It was very quiet and serene with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the fire pit at night. We highly recommended this hidden little gem.

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

Took a family trip to Acadia and this was a great place to stay. The house was very comfortable and enjoyed the on-site hiking trails and sitting down at the lake and having a wine. Appreciate the quick response from the owner when I had a question. Great getaway!!! Thank you for a memorable stay!

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

We had two nights to spend in Maine after a week long trip to Quebec. The lake house was a wonderful place to unwind after our busy trip to Canada. We spent our full day parked in the yard, enjoying the boats provided, reading, playing bags, and just sunning. It was a gorgeous day, and we loved it. The house is spacious, very well-stocked, and has many little amenities to make it feel like home. Highly recommend!

Amazing place with everything you could need. So great that they let us use the kayaks and dock. The house was the perfect size with lots of hangout spots. The neighbor’s dog came to visit several times and was so sweet! A bit far from things but that’s no problem because we wanted to spend pretty much all our time at the house if we weren’t at Acadia! A little slice of heaven! The Nest was everything we hoped for and more. The sunsets over the crystal-clear lake were stunning, but what really struck us was how long the colors linger in the sky up here, creating the most peaceful and relaxing mood to close out each day. The cabin itself was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and the perfect size for our getaway. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, already looking forward to a return visit.

The cabin was breathtaking, with a history painted and photographed among her walls. Perfect amount of space to accommodate a family should you have one. The morning sunrise was spiritual, and humbling. Host was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our dog. Arjuna. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you for an amazing and beautiful experience.

Our stay was perfect! Austyn and Matt’s home was exactly what we were looking for in a cozy, costal cottage. Their recommendations for food and activities were exceptional. Be sure to go to LDI Lobster across the street if you visit. We went twice! Thank you for opening your home. Highly recommend to travelers looking to explore the Maine coast and Acadia.

Probably the most amazing vacation rental setting we're ever experienced. This place sits in a nature preserve on 2.5 acres of beautiful Maine coastline. Going to bed and waking up with seals and wave noise, watching Bald Eagle fishing... Just like living a Discovery Channel dream. North of the property is the preserve, 300' South is your first neighbor. Craig/Kadedra were super responsive, extremely nice and helpful. The house is a 70' blast from the past, well maintained and has all the pluses (dishwasher, washing machine, good internet). We will be back!

Loved this place! Small but just enough space for quick trip! Had everything I needed and more! Anna helped me with questions and concerns - it was my first time staying at a camper. Although the owners live on location, I found it private and also felt safer knowing they were around! Amazing experience and hoping to come back again.

Nick’s place is a gem! It was a gorgeous location to get our son off the UMaine campus and visit for a few days. The house overlooks peaceful Hermon Pond easily enjoyed from the big windows, the deck or the waterfront. The house was immaculate and had anything you could need. The kitchen had everything required to make a few home cooked meals. Beds were big and very comfortable. Nick was communicative and generous. We hope to be back in warmer weather to take advantage of the kayaks!

If I could only use one word to describe our stay in this wonderful cottage it would be: magnificent! We came from NYC and needed a tranquil place to decompress which this cozy cottage was perfect for - the scenery and view over the lake is simply stunning and the cottage has all amenities needed to either enjoy an amazing stay inside (when the weather is not too great and rainy) or simply envelop yourself in nature. K was also an amazing hostess and super responsive to all my questions and a wonderful person to be in touch with! All I can say is book this place, it is worth every penny, you will not be let down!! Hopefully we can one day come back again, and I’ll definitely recommend this place to my family and friends if they ever need a place in Sebec. Thanks so much again to both K and her husband

I stayed here with my family while we were visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Beautiful place and surroundings. Everything felt clean and welcoming. They provided a welcome basket which was an extra personal touch. Would highly recommend staying here. It was a bit buggy during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor area too much. We saw many people wearing hats with nets walking their dogs. However, it was still beautiful to wake up to the view.

We did not take much advantage of all the cabin had to offer; we were in the area for other reasons, and mostly using this as a place to sleep. That was kind of a shame; I hope we can get back there sometime to enjoy the lake and the games and the firepit and the kayaks and the cabin itself. I saw a review saying the beds were a little too hard? I disagree, I thought they were extremely comfortable. The only info I can think of that I didn't see in other reviews: we showed up very late at night, and it was hard to find in the dark (it's very obvious in daylight). It is at an intersection, but GPS sent us slightly past the intersection; it's actually on your left just before you get to the last intersection. Other than that, I agree with all the other positive reviews. Lovely place.

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Connor, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. You can count on us to be back in the future! Thank you!

Tammy and Randy made us feel right at home. We had everything we needed, and all the things we didn’t know we did! The kayaks were awesome and the full face snorkeling masks were a blast! The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything we could imagine, and the whole cottage was so comfortable. If you’re thinking of a peaceful retreat please don’t hesitate to book Tammy and Randy for your vacation. We will be back!

Mandi and Michael’s place was a dream come true! Our jaws dropped the moment we stepped foot out of the car and walked the path to the cabin. As hosts, they thought of everything we could need and more. Our stay at the Happy Loon was better than we could’ve imagined. Thank you both for making our trip so magical. I had a great time staying at Tom and Cindy's Airbnb with my family. It was peaceful and the pond was beautiful. The home was very clean and very well stocked. It made cooking easier which we did a bit of during our stay. I highly recommend Shelby's Cafe which is not too far from the cabin. The drinks (alcoholic) were also a hit. The service was exceptional and the food was good. The owner gave us free cupcakes for the adults and children! We visited Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, which are our favorite spots (about 2 hours from the cabin). The weather was about 50-60 degrees during the day and the crisp air felt amazing. The Botanical Gardens in Boothbay was also very nice (about 2 hr from the cabin).I think going there at night would be even more amazing to see the lights. It was a family friendly attraction. They have a garden just for the kids with a sandbox, water play, scavenger hunt, and a variety of play houses, and games. Very nice stay!

We stayed at the Roxie cabin. The cabin itself was wonderful. The cabin was well stocked with anything you may need from playing cards to bug spray. We threw axes then took one of the canoes out and enjoyed the peaceful pond. Pizza making was definitely a highlight of the evening. I’d definitely recommend staying.

A great getaway!!! My fiancee and I had a wonderful stay, it was quite peaceful and we had a lot of fun fishing in the pond! A little oasis of birds, frogs, and butterflies!!! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area!! Kerr was one of the best hosts!!!
