We had a great time at Eija's place. It's as nice as the pictures suggest and a good starting place for exploring northern Finland. As a general tip, I'd recommend traveling by car, then you can easily reach several national parks and other sights in the area, as well as Rovaniemi. The area is calm, the frozen lake and snowy scenery make for a serene retreat. Eija was always quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

Comfortable apartment in a quiet area. Blackout curtains were needed at night, but otherwise everything was fine 👌🏻

A great studio with a great location! The accommodation was smooth with good instructions and I also appreciated the tips on parking spaces. I would have liked to stay longer and I will certainly keep it in mind if/when I return to Oulu.

This was already our second visit to Päivi's home. Beautiful, functional and peaceful place. The weather was not favorable, but we still enjoyed the balcony and the view. I was able to park the car effortlessly. Thanks again!

A peaceful and pleasant place to stay. The area was beautiful, it was nice to be outside by the sea. Excellent location, easy access to the center. Kati was very friendly and the communication went very well. A special plus for the instructions in the apartment and the pair of coffee and restaurant recommendations. I went to both and loved them! Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Liisa was a wonderful host, very communicative and super helpful with all the information. We chose this place as it was accessible without a car. We took a local bus from Oulu and the place was within 20mins walking distance from the nearest bus stop, which also had a supermarket right next to it! So I’d recommend those who need to use public transportation. The place was lovely, the dip in the river after sauna was super refreshing :) Totally totally recommend!

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka personally welcomed us. The house is close to the road and is well accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka arranged us cheaply for cross-country skis and snowshoes and spelt a cross-country ski trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the aurora lights 2x. Everything was super straightforward. I'd love to come back. Thank you.

Spacious, cozy, well-equipped place by the lake. Another cabin pretty close and not too much of a sight in between. Overall a positive experience!

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

Nice apartment with a nice terrace, a nice bed and wonderful bedding.

Clean and new apartment. It was easy to find and free Parking nearby. Very clear instructions from Johannes. All the needed amenities for studio apartment. Small details like fan, phone charger and drying rack was good addition. For the price there can't be better accomodation.

The wooden sea house is very authentic and attractively decorated. Sufficient space for 4 people. Within walking distance of the beach and a beautiful base for visiting Hailuoto Island and the city of Oulu.
