“Amazing stay. Stayed in February for 4 nights and had the best time. Weather was perfect. No need to rent snorkel gear or boogie boards, Roth had everything available for us to use. Walking distance to ocean access with great snorkeling. A short 3 min drive to beach 69 and Hapuna beach (great for boogie boarding). Perfect peaceful and quiet place to stay. The mini fridge allowed us to save lots of $ by going to the Foodland Farms grocery store just down the highway in the Mauna Lani resort area and storing food. Really appreciated that. Such a special place. We will be back.”
The Beach shack is a cozy place to stay in Puako with a close (~500ft) beach access. You can walk down to the beach to see turtles, and beautiful views. The house is quiet and fully furnished with everything you might need. You will have interactions with the local wildlife including geckos, wild pigs, turkeys, mongoose, birds, turtles, etc. The Property A small lot with many various fruit trees and plenty of shade to relax. Also the 14% tax is included in the nightly price.
“This place is just as described yet more spacious than expected and has an abundance of amenities and appliances available in the kitchen. We appreciated this as many Airbnb’s can be sparse in the kitchen. Everything was very clean and welcoming. I chose John’s place due to the proximity to Puako (a perfect gem of a beach that not many people know about) and it definitely delivered. Everyday people are out walking along the road (beautiful homes) to the many different beach access points. The one at the end is an excellent snorkel spot, one of the best I’ve found and the earlier ones are great for seeing turtles. From the last shore access point you can continue walking south along beach/trail and you’ll reach the Fairmont. Also, try LightSUP they put in right at the bay and it’s a unique experience. If you’re looking for restaurants and manicured beaches there are plenty of resorts within a short drive. Don’t be alarmed by your turkey neighbors. They were a fun addition and did not bother at all. Be sure to lay in the lawn at night and stargaze, it’s incredible. Finally, the shower is attached to the house but has it’s own separate entrance that can’t be accessed from inside the main house. Wonderful stay. Will definitely return in the future.”

“Louis and Michael have the most immaculate house and are incredibly quick to respond to any and all questions. The location is so close to the pool and beach club. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens I have ever seen! The house is full of amenities, including laundry and two separate full bathrooms and bedrooms. It was perfect for our trip of two couples. Words cannot describe how much I recommend this beautiful home! Thank you both again!”
