Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Prunedale

We enjoyed our 4 nights at the house. The host made us feel at home right away with his friendly messages. The house was clean, well-appointed and there was great attention to details. Bottled water, coffee pods and some candies were thoughtfully laid out. Walk-in wardrobe with lots of pull-out drawers and space for hanging clothes. New washer and dryer with laundry detergent pods provided. Pretty well-manicured garden and backyard. Well-equipped kitchen - it would have been a pleasure to cook some meals, but we didn’t have the opportunity. We also liked the neighbourhood which was quiet, safe and pretty. If we ever came back to Santa Clara, we’d definitely come here again!

Great place in a great location for exploring Monterey and the surrounding area

Fantastic location and home for a family get-away. Much to see and do on site and in the local area. The home is very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities you might need and more. Can’t wait to book again!

Vic and Leanne's place is great! We've stayed there several times, and will be back, I'm sure. It's clean, quiet, nicely furnished, and comfortable, with a very well-stocked kitchen. The kitchen and appliances are new and nicely done. Plenty of local coffee for the coffee maker. Vic and Leanne are friendly, helpful, and responsive. Recommended!

We had a great time at Casey’s place! There was plenty of room for our 8 person group with extra to spare. It felt private and the views were amazing. We loved hanging outside on the patio and got to see some wildlife also. Would definitely book this place again!

We had a spectacular time in Rick's beautiful home! They added many touches that made the upstairs apartment feel like home, including a few complimentary snacks and drinks, a juice presser and some oranges, and blankets to use outside on the private deck when it gets chilly. Would highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at this home—it was the perfect setting for our vacation with multiple families and young children. The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen that made group meals a breeze to thoughtful amenities that made traveling with little ones so much easier. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend quality time together, and the layout made it easy to keep an eye on the kids while still enjoying ourselves. The home was clean, comfortable, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids!

This spot was great for a weekend getaway! Right at the start of Lighthouse Ave where all the shops and restaurants are located. We were able to walk to the beach as well which was lovely. My partner and I felt extremely safe walking around at night as well. The space was very clean and cozy. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Monterey area. We’ll definitely be back as well:)

What a beautiful place! If you are looking for "off the beaten path" with access to tourist areas, this is an excellent location. It is not the pristine hotel environment but a charming and unique place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Follow Susanne's instructions to a "T" and you will have no problems. Hope to come back some day! Great experience.

I had a wonderful stay, Jeff was so helpful arranging a last-minute trip and was a fantastic host. The studio was very quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed spending time on the patio in the back. It was a great place to spend some time in the Carmel area.

We love staying here to visit our daughter. The neighborhood is charming and super quiet! The place is spacious, comfortable and very clean! We keep coming back to this place when we are in town! This place feels like a second home to us!

This house was a beautiful and it provides easy access to everything that Pacific Grove and Monterrey had to offer. When you walked into the house, it felt like home. Most importantly, Jane was the perfect host. She is always available to make your stay enjoyable. Everything we needed was there. I love sitting in the living room sofa and enjoying the great views. I loved the outside fire pit for those cold days when you wanted to sit and watch the world go by and to watch the seals sleeping across the street. You could not do any better than this place. We had a great stay here! The place is cozy, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, which made meals easy during our visit. It’s also conveniently located near kid-friendly attractions like Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, The Tech Interactive, and the Children’s Discovery Museum—great for our family trip.

Really nice and clean. Barnaby communicated really well. Be aware, this is non-refundable though so be sure before you book. One thing that isn’t mentioned is that it’s on the main stretch and since it’s a tourist spot, weekends are loud. It feels like a party is happening outside while you’re trying to sleep. Don’t expect it to be a sleepy beach town condo. One really nice thing is it’s next to a great coffee shop that serves delicious bagel sandwiches. The bed is lofted and cozy. Everything is super clean and the fireplace at night is perfect.

Wonderful spot. Quality home in a beautiful location. Very peaceful beach - great for families. We made a fire on the beach for s'mores. The pool/spa was busy but well maintained.

Great View and Weather!

We were up for a wedding in Monterey with 10 adults sharing the house, Nick's place was perfect for what we needed and the location/views are amazing. The decor is a little dated but the functionally was there, Nick communicates really well and I think you'll enjoy the serenity of his house.

I stayed for 3 months and couldn’t have been happier with my choice to stay here. Close to downtown, amazing food all around. The gate in front and the fact it was at the very end of a cul de sac made the place feel extra private. Would definitely recommend!!

Great home with gorgeous views of the redwoods!! We were all confused as to why there was no dish soap or trash bags to use, but it had everything else!!

BeaUtiful grounds, comfortable bed.

The best part of this place was the room in the back. It really was like an Executive Director suite. So of course my ED took advantage and took the room for himself. lol. We appreciate the extra blankets and we each had our own room.
