An oasis on a private retreat

A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

Cozy, sunny, and spacious, with lots of privacy. There is a Microwave, Keurig, and mini-fridge (no freezer) available for use. There is NO stove, oven, or air-conditioning.

Beautiful space and not a far drive to the beaches, either Santa Cruz or Monterey. Loved coffee in the morning on the patio. The room and sheets are allergy free, so I didn't cry and sneeze while there! Bathroom is larger than it looks. The bed was very large & comfortable! It's a beautiful room. The host is lovely to work with and accommodating. Warm and cozy. Just love the quaint country feel. It's nestled in the rolling hills. Very beautiful. Perfect for my stay!

Esau’s place was absolutely beautiful and stunning, I loved the entire home. The yard and inside of the home is so nicely decorated and you can tell there’s so much love that goes into the home. On top of that the check in was so flexible and easy. I loved the details of the welcome sign on the door! It was so sweet. Esau was very nice and so were his kitties! They were such a delight to be around and even snuck in to the room a couple times to stay with us. The room is nice, comfortable and very clean as well as the bathroom. I am so grateful for the stay and it made my finances birthday such a memorable experience! Thank you so much Esau!

I stayed at Madelyn's place for one night before going on a short backpacking trip in Henry Coe SP. My stay exceeded all expectations - it was comfortable, restful, and set me up perfectly for my trip. Madelyn was communicative from the start, met me in person when I checked in, and even made me breakfast with ingredients sourced from her own in-house farm. It was a really enchanting experience and I'm hoping to be able to return if I have the chance!
