The Canonico’s room is the most romantic one in the house. The choice of colors and furniture, the fireplace and the bathroom with jacuzzi make it comfortable and pleasant: a perfect getaway for two. The “Canonica dei Templari” is a charming bed & breakfast located in a large and romantic country house dating back from 1805, which is in Camino, in the hills of Monferrato, sorrounded by a garden and orchard of 3000mq. Thanks to a careful and respectful restoration it was possible to keep the original terracotta floors, the vaulted ceilings and the fireplaces; these are all elements that help create an elegant and cozy atmosphere. Guests can expect 3 ample rooms with bathroom, a living room and a delightful porch. Breakfast, prepared by the hostess stricktly with local ingredients, is served in the dining room and, in days of good weather, under the porch. Outside there is a building that houses the pleasant summer sitting room. During the year many classes are held: jewelry creation, flower arrangement (with special programs during Christmas and Easter time), restyling of small furniture and preparation of jam with seasonal fruit. In addition, Irish dance workshops are held and management training courses are also hosted for individuals and private businesses. Guided tasting of local wines. The Canonica dei Templari is one hour distant from Milan and Genova, 40 minutes from Turin and 45 minutes from Lago Maggiore.
