Our stay at this lakeside retreat was perfect! The house was exactly as described, with stunning views that exceeded expectations. Mornings with coffee and evenings with cocktails on the back porch became our favorite ritual. The picturesque fire pit and thoughtful touch of Hershey bars for s’mores were delightful, though we didn’t get to use them this time. Our host was incredibly responsive, quickly resolving a hot tub issue, and their winery recommendations were spot-on! Quick tip: If arriving after dark, keep exterior lights off initially to avoid lakeside gnats. We noticed a few stink bugs on day one (nature’s welcome!), but they completely disappeared afterward. My stay at the lake house was perhaps my greatest experience at an Airbnb so far. It was our wedding weekend and the girls got ready there in the morning and hubby and I relaxed there afterwards. The incredible thoughtful touches, the care Talita and Vinny took to go the extra mile and make sure we had a pleasant time, our stay here was beyond perfect. We had a wonderful stay at Tyler's home. It was exactly as the pictures showed, and the view was spectacular! We walked to several restaurants and it was a short 20 min drive to Newport. From the minute we pulled into the driveway, our family was highly impressed with the views from Kristen's home. We ended our 2023 summer with a bang. This beautiful home had everything you could ever need on vacation. We enjoyed the backyard with nightly fires. Our teen daughter rarely left the bunk house. We loved the fact that our own private beach was just a few steps away & the public beach was less than ten minutes away. The kids and adults enjoyed the beach trampoline. Kristen was delightful to deal with. She was a SUPER host. So many little details and extras she puts into her beach home. Already thinking of our next visit.

My husband and I booked Brady Cottage for a week at the end of May to take a break from our very hectic lives. The pastoral setting in quiet Little Compton was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed woodland hikes on conservation land, cooking at the cottage, Grey's Daily Grind in Westport (amazing baked goods!!) and the amazing Polled Hereford cows and calves behind the cottage. We had a few nice meals out in Tiverton. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The cottage was clean, cozy, charming and comfortable for us and our little dog.

The cottage is located on the same property as three other rentals, a large house and two smaller once. Depending on how many of them are occupied, privacy can vary. During our stay the two smaller homes were rented as well. Unfortunately the backyard is not completely fenced, but there was on piece of fence that allowed us to block the one open spot, so our dogs didn’t run away. The cottage is big enough for two adults. The bathroom is fairly small, but is enough for a short stay. The living room and the kitchen are adjacent and are nice for cooking or spending time when you are not discovering Newport and the surrounding area. The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet spot after a long day of discovering Rhode Island, Martha Vineyard, Block Island and many other beautiful places.

Laurie's cabin was a very sweet lakeside getaway. We arrived at the cabin mid-nor'easter, so we had to get the wood stove going to take the chill off. Thankfully, Laurie had wood available on the property, and we were able to get the space warmed right up. The cabin is simply laid out, well out-fitted, and had everything we needed. Just a short walk to the water's edge where there are plenty of kayaks and canoes to take out on the lake. Laurie was a very accommodating host, and we are already looking forward to returning!

Beautiful, peaceful and serene. A place to completely recharge! For both the 2 legged and 4 legged!

My family and I really enjoyed Taiji’s place. It was exactly as was described andTaiji took the time to be very communicative with me before and during our stay. I would definitely stay again!

Home and area were beautiful! Everything was well stocked for our month-long stay, and they even had a jar of dog treats that our pup was very grateful for. Loved that the home was right off of a beautiful run/bike bath too. Great restaurants close by and a yoga studio within walking distance. We had a great time, thank you!

Jonathan’s place was fantastic. It was cozy, clean, and exactly what we expected. We would definitely stay there again. After checking in, I had a question, and Jonathan answered within minutes. Great host!

Steve's place was amazing. The carriage house was gorgeous, comfortable, and a wonderful space for our long weekend! We were just a close drive to Providence, where we needed to be most of the weekend. I would stay there again!

Marie and her husband were great hosts. It was very important to us that the place was clean, and her cottage was spotless. Communication was great and fast. Everything was as described.

This was the ideal location for my husband and me to spend the holidays with our family who live across the lake. Will and John gave us a warm, friendly welcome and Quinn also checked in to make sure we settled in and had everything needed for a comfy cozy stay. It was easy to communicate with everyone and the location felt peaceful and private but not isolated. I can't imagine a more ideal experience and cannot thank Quinn enough for making this stay the best ever we've had with Airbnb!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Alexander’s Lake is gorgeous and this lovely cottage sits right on the water allowing you to take the kayaks out to explore the lake. I even got lucky while fishing from the dock and the kayak! Great views in the morning and evening. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be looking to stay again!

Amber was an amazing host. Her house is beautiful and she has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. She was very responsive and super friendly!! I would definitely recommend this stay!

What an amazing stay! The place had great games and the porch was such a treat. The view from the fire pit was so relaxing and we enjoyed toasting smores while overlooking the lake. We ended up taking the folding chairs and playing catch by the lake, which was only a short walk away. Robert was responsive when we asked where to get firewood. We also enjoyed the Sturbridge coffee house and Maine Lobster (we liked it so much, we went twice)! We ended up going to the farmers market and flea market, which were great finds. Overall, a great stay with the kitchen utensils, bathroom necessities that you’d need. Close by the lake and a great neighborhood!

The cottage was well appointed and decorated, very clean and very comfortable. Wayne and Sherry were responsive and helpful. Island Park is a great low-key location with nice bars and restaurants and a lovely beachfront within minutes of the cottage. This cottage was great value for money.
