Beachfront holiday rentals in Provence

Honestly, this was probably the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at — and we’ve stayed in many across different countries. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Côte d’Azur, just book this one. I spent over a week researching options, so I know pretty well what’s out there in this area, and I’m happy we ended up choosing this one. The location is amazing — literally one step from the beach. There’s a big grocery store right across the street, an underground parking garage, and a really nice infinity pool in the complex. The apartment itself is super well-equipped — everything is modern, from the blackout curtains to the shower. Villeneuve-Loubet turned out to be a great spot — calm and relaxing, but also perfect as a base to explore the French Riviera, Monaco, and even Italy (about 1.5 hours by car). Corinne was also a fantastic host — always quick to respond (usually within 5 minutes) and really helpful whenever we had a question. Highly recommended — we would love to come back!

Excellent accommodation, very warm and responsive hosts. The location is ideal, there is a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, a great beach nearby. The house has everything for a super-comfortable life. Everything is very high quality and well organized.

Le logement est TOP ! La vue est magnifique depuis les nombreuses terrasses de la maison. Bruno est un hôte très sympa Je recommande vivement ce logement ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés .

Super séjour dans cet appartement ! Très propre, bien décoré et parfaitement équipé — on s’y sent tout de suite comme chez soi. L’emplacement est idéal. L’hôte a été très réactif et attentionné, avec de bons conseils pour découvrir les environs. Je recommande sans hésiter, et je reviendrai avec plaisir !

Le Loft est tres bien placé, à proximité de restaurants, boulangerie et supermarché. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture, Royal! De plus, Bravo car tout équipé, cela faisait longtemps qu'on n'avait pas eu un appartement avec autant d'équipement à disposition ! Kevin est super, bel accueil, plein d'explication et des recommandations.., très flexible et très réactif, on sent qu'il tient à ce que ces clients soient au petit soin et c'est top ! On retient l'adresse et on reviendra avec plaisir !

Merci pour cette nuit de rêve dans votre magnifique logement. Chaque détail était pensé pour le confort et la sérénité : une véritable parenthèse hors du temps, apaisante et ressourçante. Tout y était, et c’était exactement ce qu’il nous fallait.

Wir waren 7 Tage im kleinen Paradies von Marie Hélène. Der Ausblick auf das Meer war wunderschön und die Lage der Terrasse einmalig. Alles war wie beschrieben und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit zu dritt mit unserer kleinen Tochter. Die Unterkunft ist ideal für Paare oder Eltern mit einem Grundschulkind. Alles Wichtige ist zu Fuß zu erreichen - Einkaufmöglichkeiten, kleine Badebuchten etc. Die Wohnung selber war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hugo’s place and I would 10/10 recommend it. The place looks exactly like it does in the photos and it was so clean! Very close to the centre of Saint Tropez and also a 5 minute walk away from some beautiful nearby beaches. Hugo was very responsive and welcoming and we’re very happy we chose to stay here.

This Airbnb surpassed all expectations! The garden is designed like a fairy tale paradise, with hydrangeas and lush trees artfully arranged—every corner is worthy. The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling ocean views are breathtaking, waking up to the soothing sound of waves in the morning and falling asleep under the glow of sunset in the evening. It was the perfect finale to our island getaway.

L’appartement est bien placé : le bus 98 passe tout près (arrêt Château de l’Anglais) et permet d’aller à la vieille ville en 10 minutes. Jolie piscine dans la résidence, très agréable après les journées de marche . Et le top, la vue de l’appartement, on ne s’en lasse pas !

If you have the opportunity to stay at Sun Bay House you are truly lucky. Philippe has created a beautiful oasis right in the middle of Villefranche-sur-Mer. He is an unbelievable host - the space is pristine and he has thought of every last detail. He gave us amazing recommendations for the area and we absolutely loved talking with him. We left feeling like we were leaving an old friend. We were torn between wanting to sight see around town but also not wanting to leave this beautiful property. Thank you Philippe for making our stay so perfect and special - the best way to end our honeymoon.

We only have good things to say - a really nice calm oasis outside of the town, well situated for things to do in Istres and further afield. A short walk from lovely forest walks. Franck was kind and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich und traumhaft schön. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Für Norddeutsche ist der letzte Kilometer durch die sehr steilen Anstiege eine kleine Herausforderung, ebenso wie der Parkplatz am Haus. Es ist angenehm ruhig und sehr privat, da es sich um ein abgeschlossenes Wohngebiet handelt. Die Zufahrt ist nur durch eine Schranke und ein Tor möglich. Die Zugangsberechtigung erhält man beim Check-In. Vorort war Cindy für uns da. Die Kommunikation klappte immer, schnell und sehr zuverlässig. Von ihr und der Eigentümerin haben wir wertvolle Hinweise bekommen. Beide sind supernett und sehr unkompliziert. Für uns war es ein echter Traumurlaub. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Olivier’s place is in the most amazing location. And though the studio is nice, clean, and comfortable, it’s the outside terraces and access to the sea that makes this place so special. The apartment has a king-size bed, which is pretty rare in France and it was very comfortable. The kitchen is a tiny galley kitchen, but has everything you need to cook yourself a meal. In fact, the location is so stunning, that I would recommend planning on having some dinners at home. The bathroom is modern, with a nice shower. I think it’s important to note that this is a semi-private location. The owner lives on the property, his house is set above and behind the apartment. He was very friendly and respectful, but you do cross paths with him occasionally. He also meets you at check-in and shows you around the property.

Tout juste rentré de mon séjour et déjà envie d’y retourner !!! Le logement est superbe conforme aux photos très bien situé proche des plages commerces restaurants et d’une ligne de bus qui amène rapidement au métro. Et évidemment le gros point fort c’est la terrasse immense qui est très agréable et très bien aménagé. Florent est amical réactif et arrangeant. J’ai passé un super week-end :)

Nous avons été très heureuses de séjourner dans le logement proposé par Yves. Nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison. La vue y est magnifique sur la mer et le massif de l'Esterel. L'accueil de Yves était très chaleureux et prévenant. Et la localisation, idéale pour découvrir les environs!

We had a great stay here! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bed loft was comfortable, the washer/dryer worked perfectly (and fully dried our clothes), and the shower had good pressure and hot water. The kitchen made it easy to cook simple meals, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches — especially the water shoes, which were essential for the rocky beach just a few minutes’ walk away. The location is excellent — just one street back from the water and in a great spot for walking around Nice. While the apartment doesn’t have a view of the sea, it’s tucked into a part of the neighborhood that still feels very central. The building is older, but the space itself feels fresh and recently renovated. We’d happily stay again!

Jean-Marc’s place is exactly as it was described. It was beautifully appointed and great care was obviously taken during the remodeling and furnishing. As a result, the apartment was a comfortable and serene retreat. The location is ideal for exploring both the old city and for excursions to the shoreline, a short block from the apartment. Convenient to the Gare, the apartment is ideally situated for travelers who are arriving by rail. As perfect as the apartment was, what really made our visit special was the attenitiveness and responsiveness of Jean-Marc. They checked on us regularly to ensure that we had settled in well and that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The building was equipped with a lift, very helpful for carrying luggage. The apartment had excellent air conditioning, a necessity in Nice. We would certainly stay again.

A very tidy and cozy place. My friend and I had a great time in Nice. This apartment has a light rail station very close to it. It took us about 20 minutes to either the old Nice or the airport. The view from the balcony is amazing. All the amenities in the apartment are almost brand new. Najmeh also gave us a warming welcome and always replied in time.

Sandrine’s place was great, and she was a wonderful host. The location was perfect with beautiful views. The place was very clean and comfortable. She also helped us make reservations at some great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Romain’s place was great. Very compact but well designed. Brilliant location, close to everything.Romain was very helpful, left us very good recommendations and a lovely bottle of Rosé. Strongly recommend.

The Airbnb was very clean and good for what we needed for a few days. The location is perfect for walking around old town. The apt is on the top floor of the building which we figured so be prepared to climb stairs every day. Good view from the terrace which made it worth it. Also you cannot stand up in the bedroom because it is a loft.

We had a marvellous stay in this lovely apartment overlooking the sea, in a lovely area on the edge of the Old Town. Claude and Marie Jeanne are great hosts and left us supplies and gifts on our arrival - which we really appreciated. The apartment is in a beautiful old building just across the road from the corniche and the beach but when you close the windows to the balcony there is very little street noise. The apartment is well furnished with some lovely pictures and artefacts and was spotlessly clean. All in all we could not have wished for more. The location is excellent. It's a short walk to the tram stops and there is a good network of buses that can take you to most places in the city. We particularly enjoyed the Musee Matisse and the Musee Chagall and a Dufy exhibition at the Musee des Beaux Arts. We also had a great trip to Antibes by train and visited the Picasso Museum. The flat is just by a great flower and food market and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Gwendolin. Le logement a surpassé nos attentes, notamment grâce au rooftop qui est exceptionnel. Le logement était impeccable et extrêmement propre, en plus d’être très bien situé dans Marseille. On ne peut que recommander et on reviendra !
