Castle holiday rentals in Provence

Very quiet and peaceful place, nice building, it's great and original to sleep in the castle outbuilding. Just 1 toilet and 2 bathrooms for 16 is a little tight but everything went very well.

Sophie and her husband are very friendly hosts, always available, flexible and uncomplicated. The accommodation is simple, but all the necessities are there. The location, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, as well as the pool, are great. A heartfelt thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful estate, we had a great time with the family. The place is very quiet, suitable for young children who appreciate the contact with the animals present on the site. The gite is spacious, well-equipped. Would definitely recommend.

The place is very pretty, surrounded by greenery. The terrace opens directly to the chapel which is beautiful, and the castle on the other side. The sound of the river is relaxing and it is a very good setting to rest. We were very well hosted on top of all that. Only small negative, the humidity due to the river, and a little noise sometimes because of the nearby road, but it's still light. I highly recommend, our group of friends had a great stay.

We had a great time at Catherine's place: the accommodation is impeccably clean, very pretty, functional and really very comfortable (especially the bedding!). The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we loved hearing the bell tower mark the hours. In terms of location, the accommodation is in the center of the beautiful and picturesque village of Vogüé. It is close to many other beautiful villages and all kinds of activities and visits to do that we were able to happily enjoy thanks to the valuable advice of Christophe, Catherine's husband, who welcomed us with great kindness and generosity. Thank you!

Our family had a great stay at La Bretonnière. Staying in such a beautiful and well maintained historic castle is a unique experience. The apartment was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for an extended stay. The antique furniture and art added refinement and peace to the experience. We also very much enjoyed the beautiful garden. The hosts were very welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. This was a memorable stay, and we would love to go back!

Wow!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Châteauneuf-le-Rouge ⭐️. Barbara’s place was stunning in every way, it was so spacious - the photos do not do it justice! Our highlights were the plentiful wardrobe space (and long corridor!) and lovely high ceilings. Chateauneuf-le-Rouge village centre is a 2 minute walk…be sure to check out the bakery! Also pharmacy, local shop and restaurant available. The village has a decent pizza van too which was a pleasant surprise. Would 100% stay again! Thank you ⭐️⭐️

Super place with plenty of space. It was really comfortable for our family of 5 and grandparents. (Grandparents were ensconsed in the room up from the spiral staircase). Staying in a chateaux was really fun and glamorous. The space has super high ceilings which make chilling out feel regal and cool (In the scorching summer sun!). We loved opening and closing the beautiful shutters on the 3 enormous windows. The weather was blazingly hot and sunny. We loved the rocky coastline and explored all the various beaches accessed directly from the back of the property or via he town centre. We paddle boarded a couple of times too. This place is a great choice for a small group and has everything you need (thanks For lending us he swimming equipment and games!). Our kids had a blast and also chilled out real yummy easily. The town is delightful - just a 10min walk to boulangerie/carrefour supermarket. Once we trekked to Lidl (1mile away). Christine was very helpful before and during our stay. What a gorgeous place with a gorgeous view. We were wondering if there would be a catch under the grass, given the price. Not all rooms are in great condition because there is some older furniture and sanitary facilities. I don't think that's unreasonable for this price and the location with the view makes up for it.

It is such a wonderful house to stay. We, 10 of us prepared almost every lunch and dinner at home and sat outside table to eat together. Everything of the house is very nice french taste including the old furnitures. I highly recommend if you want to spend holiday in a real French setting. Walking distance to a great river swimming spot and a very nice local store which has everything. Thank you so much to the house owner, the nice neighbours and Justine the manager of the house.

We were shocked at this property! A fantastic view from the apartment over Marseille and the sea, the fabulous, enchanted pool, the stone stairs, the terrace, the well-equipped apartment... etc.. Short and concise: we will return to the 1600 km journey to take a vacation with Stephane! However, the driveway to the castle is adventurous from the main road. You drive through really narrow streets. But, it was also possible with an amarok, scratch-free. A turtle greeted us, laid their eggs, and disappeared back into the mountains. The frogs give themselves a great concert every night that you have to laugh! We really enjoyed the stay!

Exceptional location, very clean accommodation, Excellent communication with Marie Thérèse, we were delighted by our stay. Very comfortable bedding, fully equipped kitchen, nothing to say except we will be back for sure.

The accommodation is very cozy, it feels very good, the terrace between the bedrooms and the kitchen is shaded surrounded by bamboo perfect for meals and relaxing. Jean Marc is about welcoming you and immediately making you feel at ease. A very human and discreet person who makes everything available to make sure we have a great stay. The pool is 10m well maintained perfect for swimming and sunbeds for relaxing. Lots of walks and beautiful villages under 30min away.

5 stars is not enough for this gorgeous castle and Alessandra’s amazing hospitality. We stayed for just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was perfect for me, my partner & our 3 yr old. He loved sleeping in a castle and was spoiled by Alessandra and her family. The castle is full of history and Alessandra gave us a full tour. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time staying here for two nights. It was easy to get here from Nîmes and Claude was very responsive. The space looked just like the photos, very beautiful.

A beautiful two bedroom apartment in a historical Villa surrounded by a French style garden which we absolutely loved! We were welcomed by Damien and felt right at home in the flat. We loved big windows, lots of light, and attention to detail that Damien demonstrated by decorating a Christmas tree for us and preparing a welcome gift - some candies. The bathroom in the main bedroom is spacious and beautifully designed. We especially loved the combination of traditional elements and modernity, such as electric stove that looked like a traditional 19th century one. A fireplace is another great feature. It makes you feel like being in a French chateau. All in all, a great stay in a great place with kind and welcoming host. We can highly recommend the flat and Damien!

Amazing experience in a period property with great character and outstanding historical relevance. The garden and outdoors were glorious, blessed with a lucky and truly amazing September sun, we enjoyed warm Italian hospitality with top-notch care and outstanding responsiveness. Thank you very very much for the experience, what a glorious family history with this unique castle location!

Very accommodating and flexible host. The location is great for many activities throughout Provence. Krys communicated well and served us a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The furniture was comfortable and linens were clean and soft. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, private setting.

This was a beautiful castle at which we felt right at home. It was like coming home to a friend. Alessandra helped us find a good restaurant. On top of that, the area was beautiful and it was perfect to rest, walk, have a glass of wine and enjoy the weather. Would definitely like to come back in the future. But beware, except for breakfast, it was not possible to buy food or drinks here.

Great stay as a family. Véronique was very responsive to our needs. The castle has plenty of toys/board games, also for children/babies. The place is peaceful and safe. We loved it!
