Townhome holiday rentals in Praia da Lota

Typical house, 5 minutes from the sea, very pretty and with a lot of charm! We were 4 friends for 5 days in mid-June, ideal time because very few tourists and not too hot! Everything was perfect, no complaints, we recommend it without hesitation! Thank you Carlos & Isa :)

We were there for 5 days with 5 days of golf. Since we had to have transportation anyway, it was not far. Perfectly located for our purpose. One very nice place where we had everything we needed. Many thanks

Lovely Villa,we had the pool heated which was great for May. Played Paddle Tennis twice at large tennis club at the bottom of the road which was great to eat at as was Dunes restaurant by the sea which had a lovely atmosphere and singer Friday night, we had a 1 year old and were made to feel very welcome. Can highly recommend this quiet, well presented villa.

We stayed for a few weeks and had a good time. The townhouse was lovely, there where a few issues that we didn’t feel urgent like black mould in the spare room, we just didn’t use it , the freezer was very icy and difficult to open. The cooker was old so the symbols had rubbed off and we couldn’t use it because we didn’t know what settings were what. The key to get in the door was temperamental and often took a good ten minutes to open. On the plus side the area was lovely and quiet and just a €4 uber away from the old town and €5 away from the strip so it was easy to get from place to place if you didn’t own a car.

We really enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful week stay at Casa Margarida. The house is beautiful, over several levels with terraces and balconies and a wonderful roof terrace for eating and sunbathing. It is decorated really nicely and has a lovely shower and separate toilet too. The kitchen is well equipped as well as other cooking ingredients there and a delicious pastel de nata on arrival! It is easy to walk into Olhao and wander around the delightful town with it's fantastic restaurants and there is a lovely coffee shop nearby called Cafe Tinto, selling amazing coffee and sandwiches. The choice of where to eat is vast and all of it delicious and amazing fresh fish! Also is easy to hop on the ferry across to the gorgeous island beaches. A great holiday and we would love to return! We had a wonderful family vacation week at Carlos's. Everyone had a great time and Carlos was always a quick call away if we needed anything. The pool was a hit!

Very unique residence, the building had been beautifully restored, amazing bougainvilleas. The pool is stunning. Modern decor and appliances, good beds. Very quiet and peaceful.

The best location. A stone's throw away from the beach and the promenade. Shopping area a 5-minute walk away. Rocio is attentive at all times and super quick to answer. All facilities. We have traveled a marriage with a girl and two dogs and no problem. Cozy house with all the necessary utensils. Thank you Rocío for staying at your home. See you next time

This villa is stunning. A clean and modern space, with a beautiful pool in very peaceful surroundings. The old town is walkable although taxis are easy and very cheap too. There is a supermarket literally 5 minutes walk away too. Would recommend :)

The villa is in a excellent location, walking distance to the marina, shop and the old village. The villa was quiet and very clean and lots of places to sit, chill and relax

Great location, beautiful terrace, & great host! Patrice was super friendly & let us check in early which was great. She also was proactive to send pics of how to get to the Airbnb in advance which made finding the location much easier. We also really appreciated the washer and dryer. Highly recommend this place! The handover was smooth and very friendly. In the accommodation, I felt right at home, very private. It is very nicely furnished and the small courtyard with shade is very cozy, you can relax here wonderfully after a day trip to the beautiful city or after a beach day. The kitchen is above average with beautiful dishes and numerous tools and there are a number of food supplies that you can also replenish. I had a little trouble with the ventilation (you can't cross-ventilate) and I preferred not to open the skylight because I didn't know if I could close it again... but the air conditioning works perfectly :-) The nearest supermarket is a 2-minute walk away, the first bridge to the old center and the ferry is 10 minutes away and the best restaurant Chez Noel is just around the corner! Overall a wonderful stay, happy to come back!

Have just returned from a wonderful stay at casa Tropical. The airbnb booking procedure was seamless and trouble free. The description of the house was accurate and true to the photos. The property was very clean and was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, but the smaller of the bedrooms was very snug, leaving no room for storing clothes etc. Both stairways are steep and narrow so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Our Host Aleks was always very quick to respond to any of our queries and contacted us as soon as possible after the unexpected 12+ hour power outage which affected Spain and Portugal, to make sure we were OK! The location of casa Tropical is perfect, easy walking distance to the shops, ferries, market and restaurants. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the front, can highly recommend Petiscaria tapas restaurant just a two minute walk down the road. Definitely hope to return!

It really is a fantastic space - bright, clean, plenty of room and a perfect location. Kinga and Robert were both perfect hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in vale do lobo

We enjoyed the place very much! You were far from tourism in a local area. The balcony offered a super nice view. You could also park without any problems. The accommodation was clean and beautiful, you felt very comfortable. Please note that no basic equipment is provided (garbage bags and toilet paper as well as coffee capsules for the first few days). The decor was simple but nice. It should only be mentioned that there is only a small skylight in the sleeping area and that it can get a little stuffy and warm if you leave the balcony door tilted and open the window. Unfortunately, the windows and doors do not have fly screens and we had quite a few mosquitoes in the accommodation due to ventilation (although ventilation was only with the lights off). All in all, however, we had a very nice stay and can highly recommend the accommodation and the hosts if you are looking for an authentic place to live. :)

Fantastic house. Amilcar was very responsive and although we came in late he was there to meet us and show us the house. He had even bought some provisions like fruits for us which was very considerate. The house was immaculate and the facilities were great and it is close to everything and very quite at night. we will return.

Maria's place was perfect, we loved our stay and the house was lovely. Rui was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a great overview of the town and home. We had everything we needed and communication was great throughout with Rui and Maria responding to our messages right away. We definitely plan on coming back! Looks exactly as good as the pictures…a really lovely place to spend a week. Walking distance to the bars and restaurants of the marina (10 mins) and a super market less than 5 mins walk away too. You get the sun for the majority of the day in the garden and the pool was quiet and well maintained (I only braved it once though as it was little chilly still). Highly recommended and would definitely return.
