We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

We had a great stay with my parents. The garden is very beautiful. The main house is very spacious and is very well equipped. We have young children and they loved all of the toys available.

Great place to stay. Great host giving us lots of useful tips. Very friendly, exactly as described. Good location for accessing beaches, towns and countryside. a Although you do have to drive everywhere. Would go back tomorrow!!

We stayed in Rafaels villa for a month, and we would return in a heartbeat. Our stay felt like home from home. The villa is spotless and beautifully decorated with everything we needed (no feedback required), and the garden is the perfect private and peaceful place to relax (Pics do not do justice). Great location with restaurants, and supermarkets a short stroll away, and the marina and Albufeira town a very short drive. Our host was friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond with tips, guidance and thought we were crazy with the amount we used his bikes. A definite recommendation if you manage to get availability.

We had a lovely week here , 9 adults , 4 small children. plenty of space for everyone . we loved the pool and the garden area.I would recommend this villa and would love to get the opportunity to return one day.

We were in Quinta Maragota for the second time. That says it all. We liked it very, very much again. The great, authentic and tasteful decor of the apartment is simply great. Despite the heat in Portugal, it was pleasantly cool in the apartment even without turning on the existing air conditioning. The indoor climate is very pleasant. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, from the WLAN to the regional doors and windows. Rieneke and Remco are very attentive, great hosts. From the regional, homemade welcome goodies in the fridge, to the good tips for the area, to the nice conversations. Simply wonderful. The garden is unbeatable. A small paradise, with spacious private garden areas per apartment and many cozy corners, with seating, great lighting, a small pool close to nature and a fantastic plant world. In short: a little paradise. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed in Vilamoura/Quarteria for over 10 years, this time we returned with our 10 month old son so we wanted to stay somewhere that suited our needs a bit better than a typical hotel/apartment and this hidden gem did not disappoint. The villa was perfect (maybe a little bigger than expected from photos) & I couldn't recommend it enough. Perfect location to Vilamoura marina with just a short walk, cant believe we haven't come across it sooner. We will defo be back! Loved it.

We were pleased with the accommodations. The location was superb, proximity to the beach A1. Walked the beach almost daily. Explored many different places using the train. Hired a car and went further afield. Nipped over to Sevilla, and walked the city. Tried lunch and dinner in many of the local restaurants and were extremely pleased. All in all the best holiday, I personally have had, ever!

We had a fantastic stay at Amanda’s Villa. Had everything you needed for the stay - amazing amenities (especially in the kitchen). Was really accommodating for a larger group and we all had a great time. Would definitely recommend!!

Maria Teresa's house met expectations: super beautiful and well maintained, in a very quiet area, close to everything on foot and with everything we needed. The terrace is excellent for outdoor dining. We were all very pleased with our stay and sorry not to stay longer :)

We are just back from a week's stay and would highly recommend this house & would like thank Cristina & Salvador. The location is very central and close to all the restaurants / cafes & shops. Also it was a short walk to the boat out to Tavira Island & the Train station in Tavira which we recommend for day trips. Eating in was made all the easier with all the local fresh produce found at the market and the roof top terrace made for relaxing peaceful evenings.

Really nice, kind and welcoming hosts. typical Portuguese home. quiet place clean with all the essentials to stay . the beach, restaurants , center within walking distance it's great to fall hard from hosts so nice and available for their guests . i highly recommend it and we will come back.

Ana was a very responsive and helpful host. She maintained contact without being ever present. She encouraged us to use her house as our home and as we were staying for an extended period of time this was welcome encouragement. The villa is exactly as described in a peaceful street ideally located for a short walk to the beautiful beaches nearby but also for day trips throughout the Algarve and into Spain. It’s also close to local shops and restaurants and Ana provided recommendations for eating out.

We have rented Casa Sturdust which we have upgraded from one of the cottages as our friends decided to join. The house , the garden the whole set up is truly magical. Agni and Kuba are interesting, kind and generous hosts and incredibly helpful. The beaches are breathtaking, the food is incredible, weather was perfect. For 6 year old curious girl and 2.5 year old active boy the garden is save heaven full or little quirky spots for them to play independently,while us still being able to keep an eye on them. The other guests have been also delight - friendly & respectful with kids making new friends to hang out. It was by far the best family holiday we had. As an interior designer I can confirm Kuba's and Agnes place is not an ordinary house but beautifully crafted, one of its kind home. Cats were added bonus as well as lost parrot - we named him happy- who landed and stayed with us ( now found a new home with Agni and Kuba) . We are already planning to return next year. Thank you.

Such a nice house and nice surroundings with oranges around the corner! Perfect house for us, who were there as a larger group. Nice rooms and perfect with larger social areas where everyone could socialize and the children could play. Extra plus for the order in the kitchen and an incredibly helpful and accommodating host!

We absolutely loved our stay at casa do vale! The villa is stunning, very spacious and stylish. We were 6 adults and a baby and had everything we needed! Perfect that there are 3 bathrooms and we loved the outdoor shower! Kitchen was very well stocked and great to have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool is amazing though could do with another umbrella for a bit of extra shade when it’s very hot. The gardens around the villa are also so lovely. Feels very private and peaceful. There is a small shop a 5 minute walk away which is excellent for topping up on essentials. Bigger shops and bars/ restaurants are only a short drive away. Very easy to get Ubers into Tavira and Olhão also. Overall had an excellent holiday staying at Michelle’s place - would highly recommend!

We had a great week at Philippe’s place. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great spot to explore Olhão. The roof terrace gets the sun from Midday and was a lovely place to enjoy a meal and a drink in the evening. Philippe was nothing but helpful and we’d stay again if ever back in town!

Nuno and Ana are wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. The house is equipped with all ( and even more) comforts; really everything you need is present. We enjoyed the house, the garden and the location!!!

Absolutely loved our stay in Tavira The place was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and perfectly located. The host was super responsive. The outdoor space of the apartment is amazing and the amenities were top-notch. The neighborhood was charming with plenty of great eats and drinks nearby. Can't recommend this spot enough – would definitely book again in a heartbeat!

We had a brilliant stay here. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool and loungers were fabulous. Yana is an excellent host. She could not have been more friendly or helpful.

We booked Teixeira House for a full six week Spring stay, and could not have been more pleased with our decision. The size was perfect, the location was perfect, and Pedro was fantastic on his communications. There is a wonderful tapas wine bar right across the street that became our go-to relaxation spot. The home is also within easy walking distance to the bus station and train station, which made side trips to other places in the Algarve easy. Pedro was very quick in his responses to any questions that we had, and he also provided excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
