Hut holiday rentals in Powys

Just back from a two night stay - absolutely loved my trip. The Cabin is perfect and has everything you need - great little cooker cosy log burner and peaceful outside space with enclosed garden which meant my dog could roam freely. Richard was extremely helpful with local information and I absolutely can not fault any part of my experience from start to finish. Thank you.

Carol and George’s Shepherd hut is a little piece of heaven. It is tucked away in a quiet place between fields and mountains with endless views and sunshine. We could hear nothing but the birdsong and cattle. The garden is private and has the most stunning sunset view. We could not have asked for a better break from the bustling city life. Carol and George gave us a warm welcome on arrival which was a sweet personal touch. We would definitely return!!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

Great location and very helpful host. Helped us built a fire after we failed. Definitely would come back again.

A great couple of days relaxing away from it all. Beautiful location. We have 3 dogs who loved the freedom to roam about. Brilliant

Lovely little shepherds hut. Bed looks small in the pictures but was very spacious and comfy! All amenities and equipment you could need. Perfectly situated for surrounding walks (Pen y fan about 20 minutes away in the car) lots of lovely waterfall walks (Henrhyd Falls was a lovely walk). Lovely place to escape it all.

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

From the moment we arrived, Liz went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—she was quick to respond, helped us find the property with ease, and even offered to prepare the hot tub for us. The setting was incredibly peaceful—far more beautiful than the photos could ever capture. No matter where you looked, the views were stunning, creating a truly tranquil atmosphere. The hut itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding area was pristine and perfect for unwinding. We stayed for four days and, on the rare occasion we needed help, Liz was always quick to respond and genuinely lovely to deal with. This was the perfect birthday getaway, and we’ll absolutely be returning

Amazing place, beutifull surroundings. Pod is comfortable, unique experience for us ,we loved it. Although we had constant rain and wind we managed to make camp fire which was lovely(bring your own logs). We would love to come back in better weather to fully enjoy the place. Thank you Sian!

The cabin was absolutely amazing! Exceeded all expectations. It was a beautiful, peaceful location with amazing views. Amazing hot tub too! The hosts definitely thought of everything, kitchen was so well kitted out. Top tip, grab some food to keep you going from the shops in Abbergaveny on the way up!

Lovely hit. It was my partners birthday and they’d laid out a banner and card which was a lovely touch. Really happy with our stay will be returning!

We let ourselves in through the gate as instructed and parked up, Beth came out to greet us and show us around, The hot tub was still filling so the water is definitely changed between every visit. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils and the views are stunning, We stayed for 1 night only but wished we stayed longer, Will definitely return for a longer stay to take in the beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay at the Beehive cabin. The cabin was cosy and creatively decorated and perfect for a night away to explore the waterfalls. We loved having donkeys and horses as our neighbours and really enjoyed the outside space. Our daughter loved sleeping in the below deck and meeting your cat! Andrew was a great host with a top recommendation of the Red lion, where we had tasty pizzas. Many thanks 😊

Had a wonderful stay. The location and hut are beautiful. Laura was very welcoming and the hut has everything you need. Plenty to do just a short drive away. I would advise anyone going in the warmer months, to take a fan, if you dont like sleeping with the window open. We will definitely return.

Fran was so kind and helpful throughout my entire stay. While this is a small place, I was not expecting such a beautiful property to explore and the room to be as cozy as it was. I even had access to a fridge, laundry, shower, and even some cell service every once in a while. Fran and everyone on the property was so wonderful and kind going above and beyond what was required of them. I would highly recommend this place if you want to escape to a working farm for a while.

We booked last minute after being stuck in standstill traffic on our way up to visit family in North Wales, the booking process was seamless and was followed up by a message from Bronwyn right away with further information and details. Really flexible with us arriving late in the evening - beautiful surrounding, peaceful and had the best night sleep!

My friend and I had an amazing time at Emma’s place. The location is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The hut itself is very cosy and had everything we required. The hot tub, swings and chimnea were all fantastic additions and we used all despite the windy and rainy weather! A perfect stay for a well-needed quiet weekend. The hut is so cosy, with a lovely log burner inside and an outdoor fire pit that’s ideal for chillier evenings. The peaceful surroundings are stunning with farm animals around the hut (great addition especially for kids). There’s a handy local shop just a couple of minutes’ drive away. It was perfect for picking up essentials to cook your own meals. Sarah was a fantastic host - friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. We’d 100% recommend and would love to return!
